DIY Patio Using Quikcrete Walk Maker

- Basic overview of a simple patio project. Used the Quikcrete Walk Maker country stone form to make a 133 sqft patio. Stained the concrete using Eagle acid stain, and sealed it with Behr wet-look sealer. Project cost around $500.

Personally, I think it looks far superior to stamped concrete. I think you nailed it with the stain as well. Great vid; great job on the project!

I mixed the coloring with the concrete. It turned out very consistent and 10 years later it still looks the same

It looks fantastic, and you did an excellent job getting it to look so much like stamped concrete. For $500 you should be over the moon. I'm thinking of trying something like this myself.

Brings back fun memories from when I did my walkways & patio all around my Spanish rancher. It was my first house & didn't have much money found walk-maker products at a home show years ago. I didnt stain or seal any of my projects just kept to concrete color and it turned out great and it out lasted me as a sold after 12 years for a bigger yard. Loved that you could take your time and as a budget could afford that sure was a bonus for me at the time. I actually still have the original "country style" mold hanging up in my garden shed & its as good as new-sturdy as ever!! Great job your patio looks fantastic stained & sealed- well worth the effort 😊

Very helpful, and I do this years ago and put it right on the ground. I leveled the dirt ,and pushed it in, it self levels I poured dry fine cement on top, hit it with a spray water light . And it has been my horse wash rack for years. I love it.
