Luke the Dog - Dog on the Piano

- This video features a collection of clips as a tribute to one of my favorite silent film era stars and a real pioneer in the industry: Luke the dog. Luke appeared in a number of early silent comedies due to the fact that his owners - Roscoe (Fatty) Arbuckle and his wife Minta Durfee - both worked at the Keystone Studio.
The music for this is a recording from 1924 of "Dog On The Piano" by the "Arcadia Peacock Orchestra of St. Louis".
For those who have asked, in my opinion the best place to find more of Luke is on the excellent DVD set "The Forgotten Films of Roscoe Arbuckle". - Комедії
Luke was the best!
Luke is such an amazing dog! I love watching him more than Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton! 🐶❤
One of the all time greats in film. Luke was the best.
That's one funny dog!!!
awesome.
Thanks for the video -- Luke was smarter than most people! He was a true star and fearless performer -- look at how he fell off the ladder at roof level and got right back on and made it! We can all learn something from this amazing star. Beloved by Roscoe, Buster and Al St. John as well as Minta!
I LOVE THAT DOG!!
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE
awesome video..congratulation.
YEAAAAHHHH!!!!
really enjoying this including the music. thank you.
luke was an english pitbull, not american. regardless of that fact, he is an amazing actor
I read that Luke was a Staffordshire Terrier.
Yeah
There are English Staffordshire terriers and American Staffordshire terriers.
Hard to tell which one he is here, but they’re almost the same breed anyway, especially back then. They were both much smaller than now.
