- Here's another tribute video featuring some samples of great performances by one of my favorite silent film era stars and a real pioneer in the industry: Luke the dog. Luke appeared in a number of early silent comedies due to the fact that his owners - Roscoe (Fatty) Arbuckle and his wife Minta Durfee - both worked at the Keystone Studio.
The music is "Aw You Dog!" performed by Cab Calloway.
For those who have asked, in my opinion the best place to find more of Luke is on the excellent DVD set "The Forgotten Films of Roscoe Arbuckle". - Комедії

Aw....I feel honored to be the first....GREAT VIDEO MAN! I've seen that dog in many early shorts but didn't know he was famous. Very cool.

As we say here in Georgia, "Damn Good Dawg!"
So when does Luke get his own DVD box set?
Too bad he never made the transition to sound!
Nice.
Only the public called him "Fatty", which he never really liked. Buster and all his friends(and Damfinos today) call him Roscoe.
