1.Body Size
Female widow tetras are generally larger than the males. Whereas surprisingly the males widow tetras seems to be smaller.
2. Body shape
Female widows have a rounder body. Males have smaller and thinner body.
3. coloration
Male widows have bright color than females. On the other hand, females are little dull than the male widows.
4. Anal fin
Female widow tetra have small anal fin. Male widow tetras have a broader anal fin.
5. Dorsal fin
Male have narrower and pointed dorsal fin. Whereas Females have a rounded dorsal fin
