she is consistently undermarked and it's a tragedy! i do agree that her upper body is a bit stuff in this piece, but that footwork was remarkable and she was so genuine in performing it. really a treasure. she deserves to win!
For me celebs like Stacey, Joe and Graeme are what Strictly is all about. I do enjoy watching Ashley and Faye too but to see the journey and progress the 'non-dancers' make is what makes this programme so great. I'd love it if Stacey could reach the final.

I think this week is one when Stacey has nailed the basics of a ballroom routine. Elegant top line, excellent body contact in hold, and clean footwork. Great flow in the beginning and they cover the floor really well. This is a deceptively simple routine. But trust me, this routine only LOOKS simple (but it most definitely is NOT). Kevin did not make this simple for Stacey, showing he’s trusting Stacey more and more. I still think they are genuinely in love. Or maybe they are really, really good actors! One thing I would be picky, I would like her fan kick to be higher. Well done, Stacey! 8.5
One thing I must add, while Kate attempted one heel turns, Stacey managed three in a row in this routine. She didn't get all correct, but what a brave thing for Kevin to put into the routine...

Yeah she 100% deserves to win it the show is designed to turn novices into great dancers and she has exceeded all expectations and puts in great performances every week. Ashley is great but she has had dance training so she has a massive advantage over the other contestants so she doesn't deserve it its very hard to call I personally want Stacey to win it but I feel Joes following will win it for him

Watching that beginning moment when they gently jump down from the pier, I was thinking aww - this looks like a lovely Audrey Hepburn movie. SHAME ON ME - I didn't know Moon River WAS in an Audrey Hepburn movie, lol... It's really fun to watch her grow into a lovely dancer a little bit more each week!

Stacey is the Cinderella of this years show. She really has become a dancer and deserves to win. Faye and Ashley May be technically better, but they have started from a much much higher starting point. Go girl.

Most elegant of the night (bar Ashley), beautiful pivots and a nice frame and tempo *9/10*
I thought it was such an elegant dance which looked effortless, although I know it was far from simple. It was hauntingly beautiful, and these two have a genuine connection. I feel in comparison to others on the night it was a little undermarked, but it's the quality of the dance that really matters not the mark.
Stacey is good I will give them a 10/10

Stacey has really refined her ballroom technique. This was stunning! Her acting, lines, and beautiful hold really made this shine. My only concern is that while it is very technical, it does not show how hard it is. It looks very simple to the normal public’s eye. That may hinder her votes. However, as one who appreciates a good Waltz, this was a beautiful routine. Can’t wait to see them next week! 9!

Something feels different about Kevin’s partnership this year. A great performed Waltz. I especially love the time changing in the routine which is exceptionally difficult to pull off effortlessly and she did so.
If I’m being picky she needs to fix her elbow by shaping it higher. Her top line at times is also slightly tight but a marvellous dance regardless 8! Would be 9 if she fixed her elbow
I am in love with Stacey Dooley! For the past few weeks she has been dancing amazing. All of the waltz basics was execute greatly. Love her top line and the ballroom hold. The only slight con I had was in one of the turns @1:17 it look like she got off balance but other than that perfect.. 9.
Creshaun Harris STEVE is Shaun Walsh Jessicason I thought Stacey was a brilliant in her bullet proof vest and as a politician reporting on world wars events. Her and Phil looked lovely together doing moon river with billy, Dawn, joe and Barbara. Lovely dance and lovely people and friends since my day trip to Lancashire with my friend Max and Lawrence
Think she could go on to win it. Best on the show who hasn't had previous professional dance experience (Ashley, Danny, Faye)

There was something so wonderfully elegant about this dance, and I truly love their partnership together. Footwork and topline were both brilliant but Stacey needs to finish off her lines a bit more. Also, her feet did technically leave the floor. I'm not sure if that 'drop' is what you'd consider a lift but just thought I'd point it out.

Really impressed. Foot work was lovely but craig is right her upper half is a little stiff. The shape is nice but then doesnt use the flow from her footwork to flow through to her upper half. If that makes sense lol still I think an 8 was the right mark. Beautiful but still has so much potential. If she continues to get through, I really think she'll be amazing in the final. Just needs to feel the dance emotionally a bit more x

Mixed feelings with this one. It’s such a beautiful song (but the singing was shit I’m sorry😂😂😂) but she played it off cool today. Both my parents said the waltz don’t suit her, I somewhat agree and disagree at the same time. But Stacey did good this week so kudos

It's a song that Johnny Mercer burnt the midnight oil on to make virtually impossible to muck up. Even Audrey Hepburn managed it. Last night's "singer" still sunk it without trace. Even by Strictly standards it was dire.
