I was glad to see I just got paid and rainbows was after katie did cotton eye joe sammy in benelmadena, so I actually wasn't a bad influence on my daughters after all and it was all down to their parents authority issues and promiscuity.

After watching them all back to back here are my thoughts:
1/ Joe needs to wear eye makeup more often
2/ Their Viennese waltz was mesmerising
3/ Seeing Joe being lifted made so much sense
4/ The choreography is first class
5/ Whoever paired these two deserves a raise
6/ I'd like to see the quick step or the viennese waltz again in the final

@@am-ot9bp I had a google of professionals doing the waltz and it looks like the top half of their bodies are a boat in rough seas. Joanne could definitely "improve" on what they did I guess, even if it looks sillier.
The quickstep by far was my favourite 😭😭 so beautiful

You can see how much they have improved, the connection is there now and they really enjoy dancing with each other! I am so proud of both of them, Joe was shown that he can dance and has proven a lot of people wrong. Dianne has made it so much further in the competition this year and has been able to showcase her incredible dancing and choreography. To see them actually enjoying the dances and having fun with it over the past couple of weeks is so inspiring and I love it. Joe started off wanting to do well for his Nan and not let Dianne down, he's in the final so he's done well for his Nan and you can genuinely tell that he hasn't let Dianne down. Dianne has been so supportive of Joe and they've both entertained us all for the past 12 weeks.

He was never in the Dance-Off, he has melted the hearts of the nation and UA-cam with his growth and his friendship with Dianne (which we ALL wish was more than just that) has been a joy to watch. It would be tragic if he (or Stacey) doesn't win this. I thought it was clickbait when he first announced he was on this but... I guess anyone can be a novice and grow on a show like this.

You can really see how Joe’s dancing skills and Joanne’s relationship has developed over the past months. This kind of got me a bit teary because I can’t imagine Joanne being split after Strictly, and I can’t even begin to think of Dianne dancing with anyone else. #joanne for the win ❤️❤️❤️

Joe and Dianne are definitely the couple with the most incredible, intoxicating chemistry and dynamic. when they perform they fill the whole room with their amazing energy, passion and charm and everyone watching them feels it. whoever made the decision to pair these two up needs a raise! ;)
with Dianne being the brilliant teacher and choreographer that she is and Joe being naturally musical with a great sense of rhythm, a fast learner and such a committed and enthusiastic person, they were just bound to make it to the final.
Joe is EXACTLY what Strictly is all about: a journey of a person who never danced or had any experience with it whatsoever and then completely fell in love with it and improved outstandingly throughout the journey. and being the humble, sweet, charming person that he is, he completely won over and melted the hearts of the entire nation.
if he wins, it will absolutely be a well deserved win and the trophy will have gone to the person who has definitely transformed and evolved the most!

What a pairing. The best team since Ore and Joanne two years ago, I’d love them to win. That Viennese was gorgeous, I’d love to see either the jive or waltz back for the final. I doubt they would do a theme week dance which seems to be most of their strongest dances!

Craig has always been a very dirty, biased judge. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if it came out that he takes bribes on the weekly. Why they kept him around is beyond me.

Their Viennese Waltz makes me weep its so beautiful to watch. I hope they do the quickstep in the final, it was amazing, and I totally think deserved a 40 if not for Craig undermarking them, even Darcy hit him with her 10 paddle for giving them an 8. These two are my winners, amazing chemistry and they've worked uber hard, I love them both so much and I really hope they win. Everyone please vote for them to win on Saturday.
I loved his VW too, and definitely thought it didn't deserve a 6 but it wasn't technically perfect. I think given his portrayal of the role in the dance though, he should have got a few 8s and maybe a 9
@@helenaprout1061 yeah I obviously don't expect 10s when it wasn't perfect but a 6 when others got 9s and 10s after criticism from the judges is just unfair. Also Craig hasn't marked him above an 8 all series, some of the performances he's done have been 9/10 material for sure, especially the quickstep which was step perfect.
@@superhooper86 I agree with you on that it's a bit confusing not gonna lie! I think the overly harsh marking on the VW was maybe because the whole point of that dance is that it is smooth and has a little bit but not too much rise and fall with swing and sway- mainly because it is very fast (doing ballet myself if I tried to do that much rise and fall on fast waltz dances I would fall over)

@@helenaprout1061 I think the problem is that Craig undermarked them on every other dance, never giving him above an 8 that when it came to this dance he had to give him lower than an 8. If it had been someone like Faye or Ashley I think he would have scored them an 8 or maybe higher for the same performance. I've said the whole series that I don't think Craig likes him.
When the judges criticised the other celebs, remarking on missed steps, almost falls, incorrect arm placement etc but then went ahead and gave them 9's or 10's for those same performances something seems off.
I'm not one of those silly fans who thinks he should get perfect marks for everything but I do think he was harshly marked this week for sure, and that Craig marks him down every single time.
@@superhooper86 don't worry I can tell you're not overly obsessed, like I say I agree that Craig in particular is being overly harsh.
On the plus side, you can see from the views on this video compared to the others that Joe will most likely get more support (and most likely win).
It's sucky though because he deserves more recognition for the way his acting, performance and grace has improved.

You cannot only see the progress of their dancing skills as a team, but you can also see their connection grow. Like, the first dande was like he asked his friend to be his date to the school dance, the last dance was that she became his partner in crime, like you can see how comfortable they are with each other

You can really see how much Joe has grown not just as a dancer but as a person and you can tell that he really loves what he’s doing. Also, you can see his progression with the dancing and also his friendship/maybe-slightly-more-ship between him and Dianne. The trust that Joe must have had with Dianne at the beginning of this journey must have been huge! Joe has an amazing partnership with Dianne now and I hope, even after strictly, it stays for a while. I’m so proud of how far Joe and Dianne have come and you can really see that they are having the TIME OF THEIR LIVES out there!! Good luck in the finals Joe!

He has proved how good he is and what a wonderful job Dianne has done with him. Not only that he is a really good guy. Never knew who he was before Strictly . I am now a fan! Go Joe and Dianne!! Ashley shouldve won. The competition isnt about growth, its about dance. And yes, whilst Joe did absolutely phenominal going from no dance experience, to learning a new dance every eeek, neither his or Staceys dances come anywhere close to ashleys. Also, ashley hadnt danced properly in so many years, and i know, as a dancer, that if you arent constantly working on dance, you start to lose it. And ballroom is comolpetely different to technical ballet.
Geez, that last dance was HOT!!! So WELL DONE, Dianne and Joe!!! What an exemplary teacher and student!😃💖. I have absolutely LOVED watching them dance together!😃👍🎉

i’ve watched every season of this show and their quickstep will always be my favourite dance 😩
Joe is so spectacular. Having watched him every week, I didn’t realize how drastic his growth was. Like I remember after watching take on me the first time I was blown away because I was like “wow joe can actually kind of dance.” And now, watching that semi final I can proudly say, as someone who competitively danced lyrical, jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap and ballroom, that Joe Sugg is now a dancer that can truly hold his own on the floor. I don’t care what the judges said about the semi final, he and Diane were absolutely stunning. Were they perfect? No. But they were pretty damn close. Also, their synergy and chemistry as a dance partnership is absolutely astonishing. It takes years to build a connection like theirs, and they did it in a few short months. Joe Sugg has truly amazed me in this competition and I am so proud of him. He has some tough competition in this final and is going against some incredible people, but I am proud of all that he has done so far. Even if he doesn’t win, his progress as a performer throughout the strictly season is something to be praised and celebrated. Also, Diane is so incredible, I am astounded that this is her first strictly final. She definitely deserves it as well!
