Just started my firewood business this year and you seem like the most reliable and truthful guy I have seen on UA-cam. I have sold about 130 cords of wood so far this year and it isn't over yet. I just ordered a 22 28 wood splitter with a box wedge as well as a 6 way wedge. Let me know what you think thankyou
Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year to process firewood. I might not even get any deer hunting in. I’ll be too caught up in splitting firewood haha
Hey Adam that'll be a real sweet deal for someone. I'm more of a weekend warrior, probably don't need much more than a pickup load of wood in a years time. A small 16" chainsaw and a splitting mall works great for me. If i was 40 years younger i could definitely see the benefits of owning a machine like this. Absolutely the best in its kind. Wish you much success with your new machine.
That splitter set-up has got to be the most well thought-out way to reduce rounds to bundles and cords. i like the four-way split, and how the arm keep feeding the rounds without needing to handle them after loading them.
I would love to purchase that from you, I am just now starting my firewood business. A good splitter is the last “price of the puzzle” that I need to really get productivity going.
22-28? I love mine. Having fun with the 12- way wedge. Axis would be nice but would have to be in addition too. Use the big box wedge and 6 way also.... very pleased.
I enjoy your video's and have learned a lot watching them.......if ever another splitter comes up lmk.......I am more interested in the 28-35 model, jus a lil larger........ What's your opinion on the wolf ridge?!
From my experience with my dad's home built box splitter (similar to this one), it does make a lot of kindling, but, i think it looks like a lot more than what it actually is. Obviously it's more than what you'll produce with a single wedge splitter, but it can be remedied by the way you position the wood and rotate it as you go. I think the down side of producing a bit more shavings and kindling is outweighed by the fact that they absolutely shit out the split wood!
Yeah i need that dude firewood is my life source in winter time an this yr i broke my leg so im behind on cuttin an splitting my buddys log splitter takes forever its stupid slow..
Was Bill offered first refusal as he drove from NJ to take a look? I've driven that route and it's a good 6-7 hr. drive with lots of hills and winding turns. PA is beautiful but a tough state to traverse.
I believe Andrew is gonna do something for Bill if he decides to purchase one. Just not sure what that is yet. I’ll keep you updated if Bill decides to get one
My guess is an Eastonmade axis. Mostly doing campfirewood so can control the size and no waste with perfect splits! Assuming this 12-22 was purchased, I dont see the point in trying a different brand unless the splitter is being given free!
I think Eastonmade is a great company and like watching their products in action. I however, love my Powersplit and wish I had gotten the 2 man with the conveyor
@@ryanwebb9099 After watching the Axis, I can't really seed an advantage except for two things, the conveyer, and, it might be able to handle larger diameter pieces.
Not quite a big enough operation for a processor, and since campfire bundles are picking up I am going to lay 5:1 odds it's and Eastonmade Axis that will be next.
With everything going on in the world, a Diesel engine is the go-to because of the limited shelf life of gasoline. Diesels run cooler, last longer, have less parts to replace.Air cooled or water cooled, depending on the weather.
Adam, Are you sticking with another Eastonmade for the next demo model or are you switching brands ? I’m sure your visitor from the other day would surely be interested. Stay safe
Humm...I bet an axis is in your future?! For what you got going it makes the most sense. The amount of trash on the ground behind that box wedge is money lost splitting small campfire wood. Axis solves that and its elevator will load into your totes perfectly. Just my eduamagated guess😆
If you want to put out high production you must go with a processor, other wise its just too much hand work .I would never keep up without one .I also have splitters but the processor is the way to go!!!!!!
I wish I had the money for it but not at the moment. If I start to sell more wood I’ll start saving to put as a down payment for an Easton made 5-11 plenty big and fast to get rip’ n on the firewood game. I’m not all that far from you. Up in Jamestown Ny.
@@HometownAcres awesome splitter. The biggest problem I will have is getting to me. I'm in BC CANADA. When you know how much you need for that splitter I would be happy to know so I can decide what plans I need to make. Thanks
Hopefully the gentlemen who came out to test this machine gets the first crack at purchasing it.

I hope Bill gets it!! He made the drive AND seems like a super cool guy.
Solid 🇨🇦 made machines! We make ‘em good up here!
This wood splitter is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing it on your channel. Will be contacting Eastonmade.

Nice to see an opportunity coming up for something different. I love your current eastonmade, hope to see another, maybe an axis!
I’m gonna leave it a surprise until it’s here on the property. I can’t wait to get my hands on it though.
Wow this was an unexpected turn of events :o
The splitter that is replacing this better be a processor or have a conveyor lol
👍👍 Good luck Adam. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks Fred!
Good looking machine and good job with the walk around.
Might be getting a timber wolf, box wedge splitter.! Myself. I have a TW- 5 -E. Love it
good luck with the new splitter, can't waite to see what you do with it and if it works just as good
I can’t wait either. I think it will serve my needs very well
110% pleased with this splitter.... highly recommend anyone to buy one.
Great splitter used in the great state of Pennsylvania!!! Keystone support! (Even though I'm on the complete opposite side of the state.)
I reseàrched splitters for months. Had a super split for 30 yrs. Great machine, but hard to lift logs now. Got my 12-22 this spring. I love it!
How much was it?
@@SuperV8driver The price was $9,500. You can get current pricing from their web site or call them. This machine is built like a tank. ;-))
Awesome machine!
That's a damn nice unit!!
I sent them an inquiry for the splitter I’ve got to talk to my bank on Saturday to see what I can do for financing.
Wish this was now lol! Im about 30-45 minutes from you and would have loved to have this splitter.
Can’t wait to get the 5-11 I ordered should be ready for pickup in December
I think you will be very happy with it

Amazing, I wonder how much shipping to Ireland would be
I would love to buy it!
Box wedges sure make a lot of slash, kindling, fire starter.

I can hear the wolf howling on the ridge already.
Thinking you will be getting a Eastonmade Axis to demo next?
How can I find out about purchasing a DEMO machine. I LOVE your splitters but can not even dream of owning a brand new one. Thank you.
I'm in VA and I'm interested. where, when and how much?
Great Videos
I like your new video today you did a really good jop today

Those axis splitters do look like awesome machines. It would make a lot of sense for what I do here
Sounds like someone is gonna get a smokin' deal
What are you upgrading to Adam? A Hakki Pilke Pro 50, lol.

tom bryan let me buy yours so you can upgrade!
Could you tell me if this demo unit sold yet please?
Nice👍
Just curious is the machine still available?
Im in driving distance of NW. PA . Is it still for sale ?
When could I come pick it up.
Dang Adam keep both of them! Lol I pretty sure I know what your next splitter will be 👍
PS this is big Dave !
Hey Dave. Good to hear from you. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys get your new toy as well. When are you supposed to receive it
I think sometime this month?
Adam how much did Andrew sell the splitter for?
Wish I had the money that would save my back from hand splitting lol
I bet Andrew would hate to see it come back to Canada. Maybe I'll wait and GP Outdoors will have his up for sale.
How much and where at? I'll take it
I'll buy it
Hmmmm,.....makes me really curious as to what machine is 'better' enough that you would upgrade to it.
Axis is what I was told
@@ryanwebb9099 After watching the Axis, I can't really seed an advantage except for two things, the conveyer, and, it might be able to handle larger diameter pieces.
If your main goal is making "perfect" bundle wood, the axis would be better than a box wedge machine. Plus it has a conveyor built on.
Where exactly are you located in nwpa?
how much ? thanks
How much is one of these?
Has the splitter sold?
Has this been sold?
Did you sell it
Still for sale?
How much?
I want it
I'm in East Texas where are you
Wow... didn't see that coming.. what could you be replacing the 12-22 with??? Gunna have to come back to find out

Adam, I'd love to buy this splitter. And I'm close enough to pick it up. I'll shoot Andrew an email! Thanks and I hope all is going well.
I think there has been a lot of interest in it already. Hopefully you got to him quick enough
@@HometownAcres I'm sure there was a lot of interest. You have a big audience. Can't wait to see whats next for you!
Me how much for 22-28 with box weag
Please insist that your older buddy from the last video gets first dibs ! I’m guessing your trying a Wolfe Ridge next ?
Gotta keep the suspense alive. Haha. I guarentee I’ll have a video out with it within the first few days it’s here

Time will tell. I’m leaving the new splitter a surprise until it gets here
Not sure any other splitter could improve your efficiency unless your buying a processor .
Only time will tell if I like the new splitter better than the the Eastonmade 12-22. On paper I think it will suit my needs better
