I was taught that the mediant movement of two major chords signifies anything hero related, and you hear it all over the place with John Williams, but I think it comes from Wagner. My take on this is that Harry isn't quite there yet. He's shown the broom which is a means for him to become a hero thus the hero "motif" is disguised with the 7th added to the C chord. Cheers! I will put the exercise into practice, I liked it very much and when it is solved with that disposition it is really satisfactory.
