If your car owner and you're worried about this. A old school trick is your best defense. Hiding a kill switch to the fuel pump. Cost you less than a hundred bucks and when a thief tries to crank your car but it will not run they will move to the next one.
Unfortunately, it won't work for any stellantis vehicle since the emergency neutral switch is beside the shifter and easy to access. So it can be pushed away and stripped of all it's parts.
I know old story ,programmers are tablets they can have passwords, if you want mine does and how they cutting keys ,if they are doing push starts still not that easy they better watch a lot of UA-cam videos. Need more than that tablet he was holding. Easier to steel car when owner is just getting in it than sitting in it for 10-30minutes doing a all keys lost in someones driveway. Oh yeah still have to pick door lock and open door then program it while alarm is going off good luck. Have friend video it to see how many hits you get.
I used to do this 2020 I got locked up for three years In Canada I was able to get 20+ cars and when we did it it took 40.. to 1 min max we had factory key from dealerhsip so you just jam it in the door then do your programming with a universal key
They stole a Xtool tho🤣. They talk as if they couldn't just buy one. Anyone can buy a programmer but not everyone can cut keys that will turn the ignition. But if it's a push-to-start vehicle and it's a non-European car they can easily steal it. If you have an older car that uses a chip and a key blade you are safe.
Go back to building cars and trucks the old fashioned way. We were cool back in the day. No more!!! Stand up and be a rebel GMC and Ford. Lets take back our country!
He dont want to be identified but you show a close up of his plate
Cars with keyless ignition are low-key easier to steal than cars from the 60s now.
what model is it ?
I want to buy one
Xtool d8w or d8s not sure
Those programmers need a pin code to unlock the screen like a phone. Useless felony.
I won’t ever go to a job in the hood. It’s a shame. Public meetings and for some people meetings at the police station…

Yay, modern plastic fantastic car's.
Manufacturers go the F**k back to using car keys....
