Pfizer was the Co-Bill with the Academy for the event. Not the sponsor, not the brought-to-you-by, but equal partner in production. Go back and look at the on-screen introduction billing. The reason this is important, is that Pfizer, at the time of the show, had an Alopecia drug in stage 3 trials. That event did more to make people aware of this little-known condition than any other marketing tactic could possibly have achieved, thus very effectively prepping the market for a new product. Mind you, this all occurred during the post-lockdown super-aggressive mRNA platform roll-out period during which pharma-profits outpaced oil-industry profits for the first time in history. Then there's the whole "public slapping among Scientologists" phenomena, but that only serves to support the notion of artifice and contrivance behind the seeming breach of the 4th wall of Will Smith's Slap. So much so, that one may legitimately wonder if Smith was Manchurian Candidated into performing the act by some sort of remote mind-control, and he merely post-rationalized his behavior cuz he'd have no natural need to wonder if it wasn't his idea to do it. If you don't think that Pfizer and DARPA don't collaborate, then you have had your head in a bubble over the last 3 years.
