It can be understated - as someone who has played keys since age 4.4. Why the organ console access is regularly denied in the United States but freely granted in Germany, England, Netherlands. Mystery
It is fun to watch any professional at work. And, also hear this time :)
He is very very good he is very fast and short with his keys, but some are held down to short of a time
This is one of those pieces where it's impossible to listen without a smile slowly curling your lips.

Ja Musik ist Balsam für die Seele, aber was für Zeiten "müssen wir gerade erleben"? Auch wenn einige Leute realitätsverleugnend alles schlechtreden. Wenn man sich mal mit offenen Augen alle Fakten durch die Geschichte betrachtet: wir in Deutschlang haben zur Zeit das bestmögliche Leben. Wir leben in einem reichen Land in einer echten Demokratie. Das sollte man sich immer wieder vor Augen führen, bevor man so einen Kommentar von sich gibt.
Very clean playing and it felt great. That is the consistent, clean, precise playing from a genuine pro and it shows. Pure admiration!
Just had this recommended to me 3 years after the fact! Reading the comments, I had forgotten I had only heard this played by an orchestra! Just as wonderful on the organ! Only thing missing was the audience clapping along! No audience here, though! I am assuming this was recorded during the pandemic.
Recorded in practice before a lunchtime concert. Jonathan and Tom almost always record without an audience - gets rid of coughs, mobile phones etc
One can only imagine how it must have sounded inside that space.
I switched to this video, because I thought that an organ cannot make justice to this masterpiece. I honestly admit I was wrong.

One of the best versions of the march I've ever heard. And I've heard a lot of them - Amazingly done
much MUCH more exciting on the organ than orchestra, shucks, Mr Scott's rendition IS the orchestra and then some.
This is what it takes to bring more people to the church, doing something different, like playing stuff people already know, but in a new way, on a new instrument.
Marvelous! This sounds fantastic on the organ.

And this was even played on an electro-pneumatic organ. Imagine you have to play a very quick piece like this with a little delay between your hands and the sound coming from the organ. That's a real challenge!
