I remember travelling by a steam bus in chennai during early 1960s. But the boiler feed was in the rear end. The conductor would issue tickets and then break coal no bigger than a lemon and feed it from the top, have a watch over the steam guage with no less than 180 psi and water level,while the driver was responsible to operate a steam pump to draw water from friendly landlords along the path. Now some one please tell me the maker. TIA.
