Gallagher may not be the greatest player but there is no denying that he gives 100% for Chelsea as he did when on loan at Crystal Palace. It’s appalling how he has been treated .

@@1111Football Boehly has stepped back a lot since the 1st season when he was running things day to day. Hes back to focusing more on his other businesses so its not just him. Theres also Eghbali. The directors Winstanley & Stewart also have a big part to play.

@@marcusjames4466Major League Baseball. Rookie contracts are a mandatory minimum of 6 years. The average contract length in the MLB is 5.5-6 years.
FIFA and premier league regulations set a maximum contract length of 5 years, the only way you can get over 5 years is to have extension options, for example you can have a player sign a 5 year contract with an optional extension of 3 years.
Chelsea's American owners are giving players contracts that are almost double the normal contract length in football, the length of those contracts is comparable to those in the MLB.
Does it make sense now?

Just because you think they can doesn't mean they can. Felix and Nkunku play CF, Lw,RW or Behind the striker and Palmer plays the same positions except CF.

It's really not difficult to understand. Chelsea haven't been paid by Athleti, that's why Gallagher has been recalled. He needs to be sold as that money will fund Osimhen's ammortized transfer. Once he's sold, and Lakaka is loaned out, Chelsea will have the transfer money to buy Osimhen, and the wages freed up to afford his salary. It's far too much to ask for these pundits to ever learn how transfers actually work.
