Finally Metroline Extension Opening Day First Train Chatswood Towards Sydenham Part 11 - 19th Aug 24

Dulcineasdiarycontinued - Back on the Metro after my 1 pm appointment which was shorter then usual. So now I am waiting for the next Metro and will take it all the way from Chatswood to Sydenham and will this time alight and have a look around the station now that it is daylight.
Also going to ask if there are any more badges so I can have one as a souvenir to say I rode the new Metroline extension on the day it opened!
By lunch time there is still a train every 5 minutes and both the metros are syncing with the city train although I'm not quite sure what's going on with the train towards Hornsby.
