I think seeing this part of Muhammad S.A.W. ; the way he dealt with his children, grandchildren, companions, adults in the society, just get along with everyone and listen to what everyone has to say it's remarkable. It always amazes me how can someone be so perfect. SubhanAllah, the perfect one to look up to. May Allah grant us the ability to think "what would S.A.W. do if he were in this position?" type of an attitude, so we can be more like him!

Also in another narration I heard, don’t remember exactly, when the prophet (SAW) wud go to the places where the children played he (SAW) would tell the parents don’t call your kids as ‘my son or my daughter’ but rather call them by their names as their could be orphans playing with them and might feel bad if you call your kids as ‘my son or daughter’ but it’s better you call them their names so that they won’t feel bad’
How merciful was he towards the orphans (SAW)

the word "رحمة Rahma" is veeeery loosely translated in English to "Mercy".
The root word of it "Rahm" is "the womb" of a mother. And the womb of a mother has more than just "mercy" but _gentle care_ and inherit love.
This is why Allah is know as "A"Rahman" which is the highest form of the adjective "Rahim" i.e the most gentle caring and loving, no one looks after the betterment of his creation more than he does Subhan'Allah.
Prayer for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
O Allah, bless our Muhammad and the people of Muhammad;
As you have blessed Abraham and the people of Abraham.
Surely you are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.
O Allah, be gracious unto Muhammad and the people of Muhammad;
As you were gracious unto Abraham and the people of Abraham.
Surely you are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.

In a another hadith, narrated Umm Khalid:
I went to Allah’s Messenger with my father and I was wearing a yellow shirt. Allah’s Messenger said, “Sanah, Sanah!” (`Abdullah, the narrator, said that sanah meant “good” in the Ethiopian language). I then started playing with the seal of prophethood (between the Prophet’s shoulders). My father rebuked me harshly for that. Allah’s Messenger said, “Leave her.” The Prophet, then, invoked Allah to grant her a long life thrice. (Al-Bukhari)

Allhamdulillah, this touched my heart, I love how Muhammad ﷺ played with the children and not only that! he would visit them, pat them, kiss them, hold them, and espicially to the orphans! SubhanAllah, look at us, not even visiting any orphans, not playing with them, not holding them, we only do it to our family members that are children, but not others! SubhanAllah, May Allah Bless us all and forgive us. Ameen

Even though we are the youth of this generations, this motivates us to good to other kids and someday In Sha Allah we all will have our own family. If our parents took the teachings of Rasullulah (Sallalahu Alaihee Wassalam) seriously we might have been somewhere else. May Allah forgive us and make us of good examples for next generations!

This is so important to hear subhan Allah. You hear of the many stories of people abusing children in the masjid or during Quran classes. This is not the way to teach our future ummah! Making them resent Islam! Let the actions and personality of Prophet Muhammad (saw) towards not only children but to everyone, bani Adam, be a lesson for all of us. Ameen.

Meaning : Thirst has gone, the veins are moist, and the reward is confirm, if Allah wills.
