Also, who's excited for honour mode? Most of my builds should work well there since I hardly used most of the "exploits" they removed for honour mode. The largest build nerf for that mode is probably my Bleeding Barblock Punisher, since pact of the blade extra attack is gone for that mode when combined with extra attack from martials. Maybe my throwbarian build too cause of tavern brawler, but I never considered that a serious build lol.
What do you guys think about this one? Super fun build for me. Biggest downside is how late you get metamagic here, and lack of consistency with constitution saving throws + risky ring combo. The showcase is really only a glimpse of what you can do with this build. You could even use melf's acid arrow from the wizard side (learn the scroll) for a true magic archer vibe.
As a wood elf you already have the longbow proficiency so the first lv on fighter isn't useful in your setup. As well, your level in wizard could be one of the last. Mid-act2 you'll be able to access to the metamagic without loosing anythink.
I used fighter to make the build more universal. Definitely needed, plus you still get archery fighting style. You are right about wizard. Though I wouldn't make it the last, but instead around the time you get level 3 spells (so anywhere around level 6). That's a more accurate level when you will get the warped headband of intellect too. So, you can wait after the first feat or extra attack.@@ashen5027
I don't understand your logic on ritual spells. You are a mage, you can cast them for free and you can learn as many as you want. So why not have a mage cast all the ritual spells and then swap to their 'combat' spells for the rest of the day? It is only a few seconds of hassle per game day.
Have you tried doing this recently? It may have worked in the past, but as of current (honor difficulty) if as a Wizard you cast a spell like Longstrider, then un-prepare it, the buff will disappear.
I don’t know about this one bro usually when you multiclass three times or so you end up with a mediocre fighter and spellcaster Granted, I haven’t actually tried it out I do appreciate your originality though
It's definitely not the strongest, but this build still worked out really well cause you get full caster spell slots and good swords bard damage. Swords bard/sorcerer gets overshadowed a lot.
Most of the good wizard spells can be learned from scrolls with just a 1 level wizard dip. The only significant one you miss is counterspell at wizard level 5. There is no scroll for this one.
I like this a lot, im trying to theory craft an all bard party, with various mulitclasses filling out the roles. This has a top contender spot for my ranged dps bard. Bonus points for being one of the very few sorcerer bard classes ive seen on youtube. The rest were sword-bardadin Lorelock ValorBlade

Yeah not too many people do bard/sorcerer which is strange because they both are charisma spellcasters.
When I select bar level 3 stuff after selecting a spell it says in and out. I guess I have too many spells? Idk
Maybe it's swapping the ones you have in your prepared category.
