    Almost sold mine because it sounds so recessed through headphones.
    When you showed how clean you were running it relatively dirty through the Vox, i got reminded about having an overdrive boost before or after the Mooer, it finally sounded fine.
    Ive been stressing about this for a very very long time

    All the folks who complain about this rig.. To me they sound like the carpenter who blames his tools for their shoddy work. I own one and to me, its great for newbies and at least adequate for anyone who's been playing all their life 👌

      My thoughts exactly. It's not what gear you've got, it's how you use it🤘🏻

    I own one of these there is nothing wrong with it if used correctly and to do that is forget about the preset tones all are overpowered in my opinion and need to be tweaked and then saved in the user menu.
    Why is it some people use effects wrong beats my little brain into screaming at times.
    Please remember a little effect can be added to your tone not over effect its like shading when drawing if you want the most out of this it will go along way
    the plastic cassing is OK for the money so look at the 200 model if moving up but for the beginner it's ideal and well worth the bucks of less than 100 quid it works out less than 2 quid per effect
    cheap as chips

    Thank you for this interesting review. I have a question. It seems there is NO background noise in your review. Is it due to the quality of the multi-effects or to the quality of your connectors? (on UA-cam, in other reviews of other multi-effects, you hear horrible background noise). And do you prefer this multi-effect to the Zoom G1X FOUR? Thanks and have a good day!

    • @jazzboifuckicontm5239
      @jazzboifuckicontm5239  Рік тому +1

      It's probably my recording set up- it's going through my Kemper amp which has XLR outputs so the guitar recordings are all really good quality. I'm also using that Rode NT1A in the room to record my voice so that it's slightly clearer than a camera mic. The effects unit itself should sound like it does in this video, as long as you're running it through a clean amp- I didn't edit any of the guitar tones once they'd been recorded.
      As for the Zoom G1X FOUR I've not had the chance to play through it I'm afraid so can't say for certain. The GE100 is definitely a good shout though if you need something small and versatile.

    Tried using the wah pedal and if you push all the way forward it turns the effect off. No one has mentioned it in any of the reviews. I don't know how to stop this happening. Anybody?

    • @jamlorn
      @jamlorn 8 місяців тому

      Try configuring it in the system settings, placing more force on it so the gadget can identify how much force you need to apply to turn the effect off.😊

      Yeah buddy! No worries about your English, it’s definitely good enough 🙂
      You can run this pedal straight into an interface/ desk or into an amp; there’s a setting for both inside the menus.

    Thanks for your reply ---you say PITCH SHIFTER at 2 :31 ? Says WHAMMY UP ?! on the Mooer display -?-and certainly sounds FAR from a true pitch shifter --no --not convincing ----once you hear a pitch shifter ---you will understand immediately that crazy sound ---(on most 90 /,s ZOOM fx pedals)
    ok ----an OCTAVE DIVIDER --or sometimes called just octivider ---was. used by Hendrix /Page and Clapton in my era -1960 ,s --1970 ,s --is a distinct sound/voicing---un-mistakeable sound (split octaves )
    however overall --this fx pedal is not. too bad for the price ----!

    I have one and honestly, it sucks. It kills dynamics so much, what comes out of the speakers is a muffled mess with the life of the sound sucked right out of it. The only use I can think of it would be to allow a novice guitarist to figure out what kind of effects he likes/needs for his style, and honestly speaking even for this task it's worth the money.

    • @jazzboifuckicontm5239
      @jazzboifuckicontm5239  Рік тому +1

      Fair enough bro! I didn't really have any issues with it but then again I was running it through my Kemper so that may have covered any minor issues. Definitely agree though, it's best function is to show off tones and amp sounds for a new player- I'd recommend you just start with some cheap Boss or EHX pedals instead though ;)
