I don't think they were calling anyone a weeaboo. -.- He was talking about people who would probably not like this game if they saw this kind of imagery and style as to much and for only for what someone would THINK would be a weeaboo.
For all those complainers and haters who wants to unsubscribe Gamexplain because they show their Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd Review on youtube, asked them if they care. Because obviously, it wouldn't make a different. All those Nintendo stuff you watch and played most of it are from Japan. If you unsubscribe so what, there's more that a billion people on earth who willing to subscribe anything time they want. By the way, Hatsune Miku is not an anime nor video game character. She's a singing persona in a singing synthesizer software where you can make any songs you want by adding vocal and melody. Hatsune Miku been sold the most by the fans from all over the world. If you think "this is fake" or "not real music" then you're wrong. The person had to give miku a voice. So it is real music not matter what form it sound. Even Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, and other musicians from America do collaborations with Hatsune Miku. "Hatsune Miku: Project Diva?" Because it's a rhythm game series. It takes a while to get better at this game just like other rhythm games. I mean If you can play Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or Just Dance then you can play this game too.
Captain Falcon Because Sony makes every single game on their consoles....What the hell. The creators of Fantasy Life (3DS game) also made Ni No Kuni (PS3 game) So is one worse for being on a PS console? Don't be an idiot...
The only thing i dislike about these games is how the safe mechanic completely destroys your bonus during technical zones its freaking annoying. Ill most certainly be getting this when i can afford it, cant wait to unlock all the modules. I think Haku, Teto and Neru are dlc characters again, it would be nice if they had different modules this time around instead of their default modules. Some of the comments here have made me facepalm myself so hard ive broke my nose so some of you will be hearing from my lawyers.
I mean Neru, Haku, and Teto are getting new(ish) costumes. They're DLC in Japan and Sega said they'll bring over all Japanese DLC content to the west this time around.
Shugo Takahashi Yeah, we didn't mean it in that context. We meant in the way that it becomes a massive bitch playing in extreme mode in songs. You have a perfect combo, and a 'safe' kills it, it's rage inducing.
Wasn't expecting to see this here. Sweet. Also, there's a lot of people in the comments who seem to think this is anime. It's not. I'm not saying you should google something just to complain about it, but complaining about something this isn't doesn't really make any sense.
Nice, now i can platinum it yet again because i bought the japan release back in march. I love me some Miku. My favs are Miracle paint, Clover Club, Colorful X Melody, Clockwork Clown, Meltdown, This is the happiness and piece of mind commitee, Meteor, Decorator, The intense voice of Hatsune Miku.
I can see the comments now, people inclined to call anime shit and others arguing against it. Since im here, ill just say that I personally think japanese entertainment is better, and 2, Hatsune Miku is a japanese pop idol...now an anime...
I'm a Vocaloid fan and proud of it. Now cue the hate-mail comments. (But seriously, I am a Vocaloid fan! I was surprised to see this kind of thing pop up on GameXplain of all places.)
Supporting save data from cross-region is rather unusual, and I'm wondering if what you said at 5:38 is true, considering SEGA themselves have not mentioned this feature (especially so close to launch).
I gladly welcome this! I have platinumed the 1st game cause I had time. Nice to know it'll be a little easier this time with transferring content. Now that's loyalty being rewarded!
Sweet, you guys really need to do more non-Nintendo videos. Like this one and the FFXV analysis. Smash, Mario Kart, and etc. are great of course but I love to actually hear your thoughts on other things that aren't Nintendo.
NotThatGuy that was me when i started the game at first i could barely get clear a song on normal. Now with practice and 100+ hours on the game i can clear all the levels on hard and clear some on extreme. Obviously when you first start playing project diva you are not a pro
Im not really a fan of vocaloid back then but after playing this now Im a fan. Its worth a try, the music videos here are appealing and will grow on you.
This is one of my most anticipated games of the year, I'm so surprised that it actually got a review on GameXplain. I hope GameXplain does more games like this. Persona5 maybe???
I so want this!!!! I believe it is kinda expensive... I REALLY WANT IT >v< The song, especially Like or Dislike (スキキライ) is so cute and some songs are very very cool. Being a Vocaloid fan i definitely want this on my PSV!
This is a good game, I love it! This game gives me inspiration, VOCALOID in general gives me inspiration. And as a musician and composer of much music myself(very soon now Vocaloid), I love finding new ways to inspire me musically. This game is hours of fun, and I found kinda addictive as well.
Ahhhhhh, I'm really excited for this~ :D Plus, I can import my JPN data? YES. I hope I can import my JPN PS3 data to my EU Vita version I'm gonna be picking up!
while this doesn't really sound like my kinda game (i'm not a big volcaloid person) this sounds like it would still be a very fun game. this was a good review
I bought a cheap Playstation TV for this and I'm extremely excited. One question though, does the first game also let you change the controls for the stars? I just do not wanna deal with PSTV's touch screen substitute.
Not my kind of thing, but I hope everyone that gets it will enjoy it. It's all about having fun. Also, people should learn to be nice in this comment section. I mean, I like a lot of things that come from Japan but that doesn't make me a "weeb" or whatever. People should learn to respect other people's opinions if they expect to be heard. We all have different tastes anyway. And hey, maybe this isn't your thing, but to each his own.
You can use any DirectInput device on PS3 so I can personally choose any controller including 360 and Wii U Pro Controller. Also at least first F was 1080p where Vita counterpart was under Vitas native resolution. Both were 30 FPS anyway so from technical standpoint PS3 won that one. Now with cross saving there's change I may end up with both versions though.
Good review, I was seriously expecting the review to be like this: "it's Dance Dance Revolution with your fingers. I've reviewed, give me my pay check".
I pre-orded this with my head held high, and my huevos down low over the counter. 2 days. p.s. I bet you guys hating on anime and Vocaloid never really gave it a chance. I loved anime since I was little watching Dragonball Z, Case Closed, and others. I will admit when I heard of Vocaloid a couple years ago, I thought it was stupid. But then I heard Ievan Polka Mikus version, I liked it. Then it got me into other songs and vocaloids. I listen to all kinds of music. Old Skool rap, metal, country, classical, pop, J-pop, Mariachi, to name a few.
Project DIVA is the only game I play on my Vita regularly xD I found that people hated the link and double star notes in this one. I actually like them :'D I was disappointed to see them removed in X.
Amazing game. Love the rhythm mechanics might be the most satisfying out of any rhythm game series I've played., so challenging, and love the characters, still not a huge fan of the way vocaloids sound in general tho, but some songs are good enough to over come that.
Woo a review of Project Diva F 2nd! Awesomeness! Only thing I am a bit annoyed at and it's a common trend throughout all the Project Diva games is the amount of Kaito and Meiko songs in these games. Really wished they got 1-2 more solo songs or a duet song that didn't have to involve eachother (even if I love Tsugai Kogarashi a lot). I wished some of Kaito's newer songs were considered like Threadnation and Salamandre of Shabon and Meiko just always seem to get the short stick all the time. I'm also rather disappointed at the lack of Jesus-P songs. I loved Remote Control in the last game and hoped another of his songs would have been in... ah well -_-' I was bursting with joy at the inclusion of Erase or Zero though. I'm happy that a Kaito and Len duet was included and I do really enjoy Meiko's Kowase Kowase a lot (Just wished that Piano×Forte×Scandal wasn't just a AR song. I like the song list for this game though, just kind of wishing it felt more balanced between all the Vocaloids at least between Kaito, Meiko, Luka, Len, and Rin. I know Miku will have the most songs no matter what. *sigh* The troubles of a Vocaloid fan whose favorite is Kaito and followed by Meiko....
so I got a question which gives you better points as you play safe or cool and good? I've played it and noticed you get more out of cool and good than you do safe. I am just curious on which is best to strive for O.O and love this game :D
This is the game I play when I'm tired of shooting people at cod I think it works pretty well though I believe there's way too much hatsune miku in there But one thing can't get out of my head Why do I need a loading screen each time I am navigating menus? Sure they are fast but infamous and infamous 2 are gigantic sandboxes and they don't have loading screens Are you trying to show us the images you picked at deviantart?
Really excited to get this game Tuesday! :) And this is really weird...most people who watch GameXplain videos are here for Nintendo news...Nintendo is a Japanese company... So what's with this "weeaboo" crap when you guys praise another Japanese game in the first place? The logic of some people...
Friend: Don't you hate it when the first note is SAFE then you get ALL the other notes cool Me: No, because I only get cools. Because I am cool. 😎 Sorry I just had to! I do get A LOT of cools tho the rest are fine/good (depends on which game you have) :D
The only complain I have and this is only something that is going to bother a small population is that I have the Japanese version of Project Diva F and won't be able to transfer all the costumes to the English release of PD 2nd. All in all I loved the first game and will definitely get the 2nd one.
NIce to see a review about this game. I personally work with Vocaloid, or at least have attempted music with my Miku bundle, and have quite a bunch of vocaloid songs on my Ipod. I just personally liked the tunes though i admit if i could fluently speak japanese i might not like all of the ones i like quite as much... though non of them could be worse then the modern western music we have. To put it simply, MY Anaconda don't- listen to shitty music.(I never heard that song, just people quoting it.) I don't care if it sounds a bit auto tuned, not only are there real people behind the songs, it's better than a good number of crap you'll find over here. Much as I love miku, I wasn't sure if this game was for me, especially since i play rhythm games that often have me taping to beats i don't hear or that throw me off a bit. PLus i only have a 3Ds, mainly cause i don't have as much time for games as i used to and the Pc and 3DS is enough to keep me good, so i don't think i'll be getting another console or handheld soon... But if it's as good as it seems that maybe it would be worth it to give it a shot if possible. lastly the idol room. I've got the app "Music girl hatsune miku" thing before where you can listen to music with miku, ask her preset things... and for the most part that's it, and I can tell you, nice and that sounds, it gets dull quick, least for me. The idol room rwould probably just be something i'd initially go to when i'd like to just take a break, same way that sonic adventure had chao gardens that charmed plays both male and female(Which i REALLY would like for them to bring back btw.) I bet i'd find the idol room a bit charming at first, but once i done a few achievements i'd probably grow bored of it and leave miku to be alone in her work while she just goes on a performance at a moments notice just for my entertainment without anymore acknowledgement. (I'm so considerate.) BIt yeah, TLDR, i'd give it a shot hearing this. Now if you excuse me, i'm prepareing for that evitable person who's just going to jump at me for liking either vocaloid, having a pony icon, or both.
the game has "Romeo and Cinderella" and "World is Mine" for crying out loud! just those TWO songs along with $20 retail price makes this a MUST BUY IF YOU HAVE A PS3 and is a MIKU fan.
USEFUL HINT: Connect a PS4 controller into your PS3 via mirco USB for the best experience. If you dont have a PS4, it is worth getting the controller for this game, because then you can use it for almost every other PS3 game as well.
Project Mirai is on the 3DS. It's like this game, but uses chibi figures instead. Sega's going to localize Project Mirai DX for the West in English in 2015.
As an epileptic I have to keep in mind how long I spend on electronics. I am a big fan of vocaloids as well anime an I have the project diva games as well. I don't see anything wrong with the 2nd project diva F, you all are finding little things to pick at. I enjoy the songs and the game is fun for hand coronation. I like the graphics and the animation. I hope to get it for my ps3.
*Calls people weeaboo, favorite game is Japanese* 99% of you haters in this video.
Ikr? Most people don't even use weeaboo in the right situation. Just liking Japanese things doesn't make you one. :p
I don't think they were calling anyone a weeaboo. -.-
He was talking about people who would probably not like this game if they saw this kind of imagery and style as to much and for only for what someone would THINK would be a weeaboo.
Sakurai may be Japanese, but he's designing a game for the western culture. This weird crap on the other hand...
*****
Don't worry, some people don't understand. Just wait until we insult CoD... :p

I'm surprised to see a playstation video on gamexplain cause your games are mostly about Nintendo games. :)
Everyone's probably thinkin' "A Vocaloid-game? On GameXplain? Hatsune Miku better be confirmed for Smash, or-(rages)"
Your Screen name is Naruto, and your picture is Chibi Miku. I dunno how I should feel about that...
*+BigFatPhony* Praise Our God Hatsune Uzumaki-san-sama-senpai-kun-chan-ttebaiyo
I can smell the otaku from here. It smells like subtitles and nerd sweat.
I speak English. I don't speak Japanese. I also don't like reading. Sub-Freaks needa understand that~
CarbonMalite calm down, it was a joke. I watch dubs too.
Everytime I see a non-nintendo video it's always seems to be dislikes all around. -_-
I feel sorry for Ryan.
Maybe its because the majority of people know PS games aren't that good.
But i agree with you this is GameXplain not NintendoXplain.
Captain Falcon That sounds like a very ignorant comment
Has a point tbh
@Captain Falcon PS has a ton of good games Persona and Kingdom Hearts kick ass plus anything Naughty Dog is pure gold
Captain Falcon Because Sony makes every single game on their consoles....What the hell. The creators of Fantasy Life (3DS game) also made Ni No Kuni (PS3 game) So is one worse for being on a PS console? Don't be an idiot...

They do. There's a DLC for them that brings over their costumes from Project Diva Extend and Teto gets a brand new costume.
I mean Neru, Haku, and Teto are getting new(ish) costumes. They're DLC in Japan and Sega said they'll bring over all Japanese DLC content to the west this time around.
We all hate the safe mechanic, Nyanta. We all do.
Well, Teto got her very own module called MSJ and the rest is getting their module from their past game.
Shugo Takahashi Yeah, we didn't mean it in that context. We meant in the way that it becomes a massive bitch playing in extreme mode in songs. You have a perfect combo, and a 'safe' kills it, it's rage inducing.
Wasn't expecting a review of this. I think it's great GameXplain is covering these kind of niche games. Can't wait to get my hands on this game!
Woa. Smash bros for the longest time and all of a sudden, blindsided by a Miku Review?
I love you guys so much.
-Hisako
Hatsune Miku confirmed SSB4 DLC
Tyler Dembinsky Miku banned to OP
Tyler Dembinsky I would honestly be ok with this. :p
Tyler Dembinsky
I don't even listen to Miku, but I'd be cool with this.
Oh hey it's that dumb guy who doesn't realise you can have more f*cking youtube accounts.
I picked this up yesterday. I LOVE IT so far! Awesome and challenging game :)
Wasn't expecting to see this here.
Sweet.
Also, there's a lot of people in the comments who seem to think this is anime. It's not. I'm not saying you should google something just to complain about it, but complaining about something this isn't doesn't really make any sense.
Didn't even expect this from you guys! Awesome job Ash!
This video may have the worst comment section I've seen in a while.
This is a good improvement on his first video review. Good job.
I can see the comments now, people inclined to call anime shit and others arguing against it. Since im here, ill just say that I personally think japanese entertainment is better, and 2, Hatsune Miku is a japanese pop idol...now an anime...
It's funny how they are hating on a "non-existing" singer. She doesn't give a fuck. They are wasting their time.
Wait there's a vocaloid anime? Why haven't I heard of it?
Magical Girl Charlotte I mean't not an anime xD
I dunno why people are flipping out because of this. I mean, they're *Game* Xplain after all.
Wait, so some people don't like this because of the popularity? That's just silly, and hipster-ish.
Guys, you need to stop hating just because Ash is reviewing a game that is a bit random and out of left field.
People can go fuck themselves and get out of their bubble once.
Great review! This game looks freaking adorable, and very challenging too. I'm definitely interested :)
***** That's kinda my thing :) Thanks :)
HERE WE GO, A GAMEXPLAIN VIDEO I CAN FUCKING APPRECIATE OH YEAH BABY REVIEW THAT MIKU SHIT AWWW YEAAAAAAAA
I gladly welcome this! I have platinumed the 1st game cause I had time. Nice to know it'll be a little easier this time with transferring content.
Now that's loyalty being rewarded!
Love this series! So much so, that I've imported every version that hasn't released outside of Japan.
Great review :3 Pre-ordered this game 2 months ago, and have been hyped for it since! Can't wait to pick it up on Tuesday.
Thanks for the Review, looking forward to this game. Surprised to see this on GameXplain, hopefully we'll see more of this on the future.
Sweet, you guys really need to do more non-Nintendo videos. Like this one and the FFXV analysis.
Smash, Mario Kart, and etc. are great of course but I love to actually hear your thoughts on other things that aren't Nintendo.
The review for the game we have all been waiting for, finally!!
Oh boy, these comments.
Brb gonna make some popcorn.
I would like some too please!
I don't need any salt on my popcorn though, I can just use some from these comments
I cant imagine someone having trouble in normal
me
whoops
NotThatGuy that was me when i started the game at first i could barely get clear a song on normal. Now with practice and 100+ hours on the game i can clear all the levels on hard and clear some on extreme. Obviously when you first start playing project diva you are not a pro
damn i was like that for a while, then bc i would play it a lot i would pass a couple songs on extreme after maybe a week.
It's probably the best rhythm game i've ever played!
Im not really a fan of vocaloid back then but after playing this now Im a fan. Its worth a try, the music videos here are appealing and will grow on you.
Wait, did you say Hard Rock Anthems? Like AC/DC and Skid Row? I can't picture that easily.
I'm so excited to get this tomorrow! I still enjoy playing the first game, so I already know I'm gonna love playing 2nd just as much! :D
I'm not really a fan of Hatsune Miku but im a fan of sonic.
k
And what does those 2 even have in common??
*****
They're both made by SEEEGAAA.
I know that. But they are completely different games
***** They're both really fast.
Thank you for giving a review on my favorite game.
binging all ur diva reviews
This is one of my most anticipated games of the year, I'm so surprised that it actually got a review on GameXplain. I hope GameXplain does more games like this. Persona5 maybe???
Who else cant wait for Project Diva X to release in the west? 🙋
+RebelGod33 I actually bought a ps4 just for this game..... Aaand No Mans Sky
When is it coming out ?
***** ahh all the good new games are coming out in fall :( Thanks for telling me
I randomly stumbled across a picture of her on Facebook, I had no idea of who she were, and now I want to know more.
YESSSS!
I don't have a sony console. But I will defiantly pick up Project Mirari Remix for the 3DS. The Chibi characters are too adorable.
The whole "visit them in their room" idea?
....OK yeah we all know who gets this so they can go see Hatsune Miku.
I so want this!!!! I believe it is kinda expensive... I REALLY WANT IT >v< The song, especially Like or Dislike (スキキライ) is so cute and some songs are very very cool. Being a Vocaloid fan i definitely want this on my PSV!
Miku is Andre's waifu.
Can't wait to pick up this game later today.
A word (or sentence, rather) of advice. Remember, this is *GAME*Xplain, not NINTENDOXplain.
Lol what, a Miku review from GX O_O Not what I was expecting.
Nonetheless Im uber hyped for Miku and will be their day 1 to buy it for Vita.
Sweet, never thought I'd see this but its a welcome in my eyes c:
I preordered it because i like Vocaloid and it is an enjoyable game like super smash bros.
This is a good game, I love it! This game gives me inspiration, VOCALOID in general gives me inspiration. And as a musician and composer of much music myself(very soon now Vocaloid), I love finding new ways to inspire me musically. This game is hours of fun, and I found kinda addictive as well.

while this doesn't really sound like my kinda game (i'm not a big volcaloid person) this sounds like it would still be a very fun game. this was a good review
*For some reason I pay more attention to the game than to the person who is speaking.*
I bought a cheap Playstation TV for this and I'm extremely excited. One question though, does the first game also let you change the controls for the stars? I just do not wanna deal with PSTV's touch screen substitute.
No.

I'm super excited to get this game

Good review, I was seriously expecting the review to be like this: "it's Dance Dance Revolution with your fingers. I've reviewed, give me my pay check".
Miku is love Miku is life

in before "THIS IS NOT NINTENDO I'M UNSUBBING" lol
NOBODY CARES
Japan
I will definitely be picking this up, but as a physical copy since Vita memory cards are rediculously small!
I'm buying a PS3 in a few days just for this game.
SpiduhRides you should of bought a ps4 for Project Diva Future tone DX. There are over 200+ songs and like 1000+ modules. Theres even ExExtreme.
@@xxxangelbreezexxx7821 This comment was posted before DX came out lmao.

Yamette Gamexplain-kun!
Really excited to get this game Tuesday! :)
And this is really weird...most people who watch GameXplain videos are here for Nintendo news...Nintendo is a Japanese company...
So what's with this "weeaboo" crap when you guys praise another Japanese game in the first place? The logic of some people...
Fucking retards...that's why we sane people can't have nice things.
There's a editing mistake around 6min mark there, with a repeated line from 2 different takes.
I remember seeing this game and going "meh..." but holy shit the gameplay looks intense af.
If you wanna good game to destroy your thumbs (in a good way), look no further than this game!
Ya I need it in my life
+rowan box then get it, my friend. Luckily it's pretty cheap physically. (guess they over prepared for this game's release)
Oooh Gamexplain!
Friend: Don't you hate it when the first note is SAFE then you get ALL the other notes cool
Me: No, because I only get cools. Because I am cool. 😎
Sorry I just had to!
I do get A LOT of cools tho the rest are fine/good (depends on which game you have) :D
Is it me or did tthe audio duplicate when he was talking about the face buttons and the visuals?
I heard it to!
I fucking love Hatsune Miku, And I'm gonna Love this game.
The only complain I have and this is only something that is going to bother a small population is that I have the Japanese version of Project Diva F and won't be able to transfer all the costumes to the English release of PD 2nd.
All in all I loved the first game and will definitely get the 2nd one.

Me: "PARTICLE EFFECTS, BLARGGGG"
This game loks fun, i'm gonna get it for ps3
Glad you enjoyed the game
will you guys do a review then on IA/VT when it comes out
Naruto Uzumaki The spelling, oh god. (sorry my inner Grammer nazi)
I'll let you know I got 98% on my grammar test, that picture is really hard for me to make fun of you.
Hey! Stop fighting over me!
(I'm so considerate.)
BIt yeah, TLDR, i'd give it a shot hearing this. Now if you excuse me, i'm prepareing for that evitable person who's just going to jump at me for liking either vocaloid, having a pony icon, or both.
Question: Who created the Vicaliid characters and when? It seems like a 2012 thing, but I'm not sure.
the game has "Romeo and Cinderella" and "World is Mine" for crying out loud! just those TWO songs along with $20 retail price makes this a MUST BUY IF YOU HAVE A PS3 and is a MIKU fan.
if you're any other Cryptonloid fan, well.... BUY MORE MIKU MERCH
I Cant wait for this game to come out in the US
I wanted to import it but im still gonna pick it up
USEFUL HINT: Connect a PS4 controller into your PS3 via mirco USB for the best experience. If you dont have a PS4, it is worth getting the controller for this game, because then you can use it for almost every other PS3 game as well.
I'm wondering why this series hasn't been on Nintendo platforms yet. I mean, that's where most of the fanbase is.
Project Mirai is on the 3DS. It's like this game, but uses chibi figures instead. Sega's going to localize Project Mirai DX for the West in English in 2015.
***** and also Sony pays them to have it Playstation exclusive
There's a game (Project Mirai DX) for 3DS set for 2015
As an epileptic I have to keep in mind how long I spend on electronics.
That gameplay looks like sensory overload
beautiful!
Wait so does the first game have different songs or do they both have the same songs?
Hatsune Miku= overwhelming cuteness!
