0:40 finally sounds like it's got 380 horsepower lmao. Every R32 in the original series sounded like they were bone-stock, which I guess is the state of the R32 they used to record the engine sounds.
When I first saw stage 1 the only guy I tought could beat Takumi is Nakazato. I knew he can beat Ryoske or Shingo or the Impact blue girls but that Skyline drove me nuts. Memes aside the guy is a bit underrated.
@@AnthroGearheadI mean yeah gtrs were kinda insulted but mostly in wangan midnight,in initial d there was god foot but he himself insulted r33.When I first watched initial d I didn’t knew that much of jdm and when they introduced nazakato and were talking about gtr and it’s capabilities I thought it was the most powerful car, but after watching wangan midnight I felt gtrs were nothing,all of them were getting beated because of trash drivers or some other reason the only capable gtr in wm was the r33 of flat racing,he almost beat the 911.
@@AnthroGearhead Kuroki’s car was great but I would say that it was still incomplete,his car just had a lot of power.Tuning is a marvellous balance that his car couldn’t reach,if he had more time to refine and improve his car then he could have defeated the z and 911,but he only had limited time since he closed his tuning shop for about a month that’s why he couldn’t get to that potential,even kuroki himself knew that his engine could misfire and blow anytime during the race if I remember correctly.But on the other hand if the z and 911 are also tuned just for power then I think kuroki’s car won’t be able to do anything,but since akio constantly avoids dangerous settings and just adding power doesn’t suit tatsuya’s driving style,so I hardly see them just tuning their car for more power.But blackbird after getting muffler changed tatsuya’s driving style,he defeated the z and I also think he could have defeated kuroki’s r.
kenji is not a terrible driver. he's not good but he's not terrible. like given he's a hobbyist that only drives on the weekends i'd say he's not too shabby.
