As a German I want to thank you, that you came here to Germany and help us Germans as well. No one knows, why someone has a dirty home and people judge you from the outside not knowing the truth. It's so sad, what our society does to others. We are all humans and sometimes the worst thing happened to someone. I hope you get more fame, that more people will talk about you. These videos trigger me to start cleaning. Its actually really good and helps me get over my laziness. I have lived with someone with a mental illness for the last 12 years and I had to clean up after them for all those years. It burned me out and made me hate cleaning. I started avoiding cleaning and ignoring the dirt but these videos are so helpful to motivate me. If I didn't clean, the house would also turn into a horror house. Seeing the toilet in this video triggered me to clean. I'm so glad Emma has a clean house to live in and Aurikatarina is an absolute angel.

I understand why the kettle is there, but it's the fact she didn't question it. Iv watched so many of her vids and never have I seen someone use their bathroom as kitchen,and so thought she may have found it odd to. But nope she found butter in the hallway stranger. Even though that kind of makes sense if rubbish is all over the house.

Yes...great point. Just clean as we go...get a system in our head and stick with it. So much easier. Then all we have to do is maintenance of floors, dust, vac, weekly....they called it "company ready" in the past. Hopefully we will get back to that and have friends/family over and a real society again.
Exactly! Buddhist monks use cleaning as a practice this way. It is a good deed, even in your own home, helps you concentrate, and you have a lovely feeling of accomplishment afterward! Some of us need tactile and visible results for our work-to actually see the job well done!❤

I myself would welcome a snippet about regular morning/evening cleaning (broken down even to how many minutes several chores take to do), what cleaning products a well equipped household must have, or how we can prevent the buildup of such mess you regularly clean.

My house has been extremely messy because I just had my 2nd child. I’m always tired and I developed bad habits that makes my house messy. I’m 5 months postpartum and I think my body is strong enough to do deep cleaning. Your videos motivates me to have a cleaner house.
Can you maybe go at it together with a friend or a sister or a mom? That can make things go more easily if you get along well, and can be helpful if the baby wants attention while you are doing it…

One thing I do since watching your videos is clean the toilet every 2 days and bathroom weekly because if something happens to me I don’t want to stress over what needs to be done! I always do ONE thing every day and keep the floors clean.
G'day, Dee! Yes, in her message to Auri, Emma wrote that she had 2 heart attacks and a stroke, leaving one of her legs paralysed.
The other day, I watched a video with tips from Japan, and one of those was to clean the toilet every day! I’ve been doing that for the past three or four days, and it actually feels kind of good! Sort of like a setpoint, and if you do it every day that it doesn’t get very gross before you do it, so it’s not such a big deal.

Most of these places after being cleaned are actually very nice places! It's Sunday and watching this has inspired me to go put some music on and clean my kitchen and bathroom. Doing my chores, doing my preps then time for some fun (cleaning is fun too though haha). Be safe everyone and be prepared.
I’m so impressed by how some people can live like that but I guess that day by day she kinda just got use to it and accepted it due to illness preventing her from cleaning.

I never used scrub Daddy products until I watched your videos! I'm in love with all of their products now! I recently got the dish scrubbing wand and it's the best one I've ever used. Beautiful work Auri! I have a incomplete spinal cord injury myself and i use a walker with a tray so i can help myself in the house. Also i use a grab tool. I cant live without it! Maybe it something for Emma so she have more space to move and can use her arms more. When im outside i use my stools and i know how useless you can feel. And ... You cant do everything. But you can a lott when you are disabled. Big kisses for Emma from another woman who cant walk without tools! ❤

She encourages me all the time and the people she helps because, though I don’t throw trash everywhere, nor have mold, spider webs, dishes in sink I can’t stand…I struggle where to put things. I don’t want anyone to come in and think, gee they’re hoarders and messy or smelly! Disorganized I hate with my OCD and love helping friends and they say I’m so organized but when comes to own home I struggle with the “what if need later.” The “what if…?”
Omg Auri, that song, I started crying immediately, the lyrics are just spot on. My sister tried to kill herself a couple years ago, I’ve avoided trying it myself to not make my parents suffer more. My mom can’t work because of chronic pain, and my dad has been having economical issues for some years. I am mentally disabled, I have executive disfunction, I’m struggling to find a job and I constantly feel like a burden and super guilty, I really hope to get out of this hole soon, so I can make a happy family. Thank you Auri, your videos inspire me to declutter and clean my bedroom when I’m not motivated enough.

I have seen a lot of homes like this over the years, especially when I was drinking a lot and spent my time with others who also drank heavily or done drugs. They forget or are no longer capable of keeping their lives and homes in order. If only people like you had been there back then to help out! God bless you x

I have never gotten this far but it has gotten bad after experiencing 7 deaths of family and friends in 10 months I really could have used someone like you

I just started cleaning my kitchen a few days ago, I noticed Auri’s cleaning has lots of declutter included , when I cleaned and tidied my pantry it didn’t look THAT much difference coz I didn’t throw much stuff away, just sorted them out and tidied up. I’m the complete opposite of this, I clean everyday because I can’t not, I can’t sit for 5 minutes because my brain goes into an overdrive and basically tells me I need to clean, I feel so sad for people that have ended up in this situation, especially when they have asked for help and nobody is willing to! All those people you help have a new start in their lives thanks to you. Your work and dedication deserve an award. I will tell you a little about myself. I also have severe depression, post-traumatic trauma, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, insomnia and I have never felt encouraged or motivated to do my housework and I have seen myself in a similar situation at home and Certainly, very sad, right, it's not a way to live anymore, on top of that I don't have the support to keep the home clean every time I start on one side of the house and finish it to continue on another day off work, unfortunately my partner does not continue with it follow-up to keep clean and unfortunately so I fall back into demotivation and discouragement and I can no longer continue with another part of my home because it never finished. Anyway, what I want to tell you is that a few days ago I saw your video for the first time and since then I've been following you and you have no idea how well I woke up today so motivated, so animated, so happy and so good that I decided to challenge myself and to tell myself that I am going to achieve it, I did not give way to any condition so as not to stop myself. I got up early, went to the store and bought cleaning products and managed to do a deep cleaning in my bathroom and kitchen. I am very happy with the results. This is thanks to you I will continue watching your videos because on my next day off work I have a commitment to my room. Even five minutes a day in the afternoon after work to sit down at a drawer or a desk or a hallway and put trash into a trash bag helps, baby steps, and every little piece makes a difference! Yay for you! I bet you’ll notice changes in your health and mood as well.

When I watch her videos I get tearful on how compassionate and excited she is about cleaning. Her attitude is so much better than mine would be in the same situation. I love her perspective.
When I watch her videos it makes me think about how God is towards us. He's not grossed out or annoyed or overwhelmed by our dirty hearts & dirty and cluttered lives. He is slow to anger and abounding in love. He is compassionate and excited to transform our lives. And he is the best heart cleaner in the world! It made me feel more confident to ask Jesus for help with my cluttered life.

I can’t help noticing that nobody, including family, thought of at least installing Emma some handles in the shower and next to the toilet so at least she can use them properly. I think by “walking sticks” Auri meant crutches and there are no disability amenities in the house.
I guess she didn't let anyone into her home because of its condition, but hopefully now the social worker will help her out with everything she needs.

How many cleaning tools do you go through in a year? How long do they last? How long would a squeegee rubber blade last? I ordered a squeegee from your link, and I can hardly wait until it arrives next week. I’m so excited to get it. Very difficult to find microfibre cloths large enough for the floor squeegee, but I finally found them at an automotive store, in the cleaning section.
