Final story... this is why you need to know someone for longer than a few months before you start making babies with them. GF obviously lacks the maturity and independence to stand up to her crazy family.

Also get a lawyer and get proper co parenting so that it’s in the courts for you to get co parenting. Also maybe get therapy for your girlfriend so she can see her mother manipulating her.

Last story: OP needs to contact legal aid, he needs to keep communication asking to see his son to written clear communication with the babies mother, and he needs to actively try to be in his child's life. Once he has legal representation, he should ask about applying for 50/50 custody, and clearly state to the lawyer that the maternal grandparents consistent unwanted interference and parental alienation has been a major factor in wanting to take this to court. The courts will likely side with 50/50, even if the maternal grandparents have money, as the OP will have proven his regular attempts to see his child, and provide for his child. Unless of course OP lives in the US and the judge has been paid off/is friends with the family. Then all bets are off.

Last story. Okay, let's not focus on stupid decision to make long term relationship with this womanchild and focus on solution. Agree to visitations and if they want to fight it, and you are not willing to fight back, just keep tabs on the kid, support them from time to time like presents and all that and save receipts bc her parents will use tactics to make you a monster in kids eyes, then when kid is adult try to make contact with them and show your support and see from there. It's a long term plan and hard one, but better than just letting them go from your life for good, though still a choice you can make. There's no way to make amends with narcissistic control freaks like her parents, just take a loss and work around it. Also never start a family with a person like this and wait a couple of years before trying for a baby.

Maybe just MY experience but the 'Marges' I've worked with were scivers in multiple aspects, and REALLY good (and sneaky) about sliding their workload onto others. Especially the more invisible/drudgy parts of the job. Very showy and obvious in the up-front/in-the-bosses-vision parts.

first story - you say your grandparents bought the land but later say that your grandfather fished in the creek when he was a boy?? Did he buy the land when he was a kid?
