I know it takes a lot of time but I love these videos where you find and then show them cut!
Thank you, Jane! I would do them always if I had time.
That was a fabulous area! So beautiful! And you have such a great eye; they didn't look like much even after you dug them out of the ground! But they sure were beautiful after you cut them! Wow! It just goes to show you, you can't judge a rock by the dirt on the outside! Lol! Thanks Kate!
Thank you so much!
That first Jasper-agate was great. Pink and black❤ love the kitty, too. Thanks for getting out there!
Stop it! the jasper with the fossils is stunning!!! So happy for you
Thanks!
Beautiful finds! Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventures.
Always a joy to see the result of rock cuts. Thanks for bringing us along Katy.
Glad you could join us!
I love ROCKS!
And rocks love you! :)
Like find & CUT 📹 😂❤
Thanks, Lindalee.
I finally got to open my package today!! Simply amazing I love them!!
That one with the fossils is cool looking.
Nice to see you finding cool stuff even though you aren't along the river. There's great stuff everywhere
There really is. I'm spoiled by the river, though. :D
This was a gun trip away from the river, with a big variety of stone. The dogs were happy to be with you , but sad for no jumping in the water. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for coming along!
Cutting the finds makes the anticipation of reveals sooner rather than later. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Katy!
You are so welcome!
I agree with janehelbert. So great to c when u find something and then show it cutted👍😍
What an awesome finds and vid. Thx❤👋🇫🇮
Glad you enjoyed it!
Was that a Mariposa Lily? I not only love rocks but flowers as well! Thanks for showing both!
So beautiful 🤩 Thank you for sharing
That banded jasper is beautiful
Beautiful finds, and you found a Sego lily! Nice!
Cool - I didn't know what it was!
Fun trip.
Thank you!
Wonderful video of instant currosity solved lol. Loved seeing the inside of the rocks! The Jasper wins the day! But I did like the first ones with their round looking inclusions.
When I started with ricks a couple years ago, your videos helped me with identifying and what to look for. I enjoy watching what you find and come up with. Thank you for taking the time to educate. 😊
Nice jasper!
Thanks! 😁
I agree with the comment about seeing the rocks cleaned and cut in the same video great idea although I do realise the work that goes into and editing and what that involves thank you for the work you do ❤
Awesome finds! I've used rocks to dig out rocks also. Sometimes you do what you gotta do.
The piece of petrified wood sitting on the shelf looks like a little kitten 😊!
Awwww!
You did say you loved jasper more than a agate❤ I'm with you sister..along with petrified wood.
“Well, I guess if you wanted a grey rock, this one would be great!” 😂
:D

0:52 That's why you always bring a pocket knife to keep in your car.😊
Probably in my pocket!
Lindo local Katy...😮
🤩
Good thing that piece of sandstone was near the pet wood so you could use it to dig since you forgot your screwdriver 😅is ok I’ve done it numerous times before myself
The chipped off one? We find a lot like those in Wyoming
Great Vid! Everything in this vid is super similar to what I found out around Greybull WY.
Greybull isn't TOO far from me... I love that area.
@@KatyDidRocks I saw you were out at Devil's Kitchen and watched your video just before I made one with my daughter out there. Today, 7/22/24, I found my biggest white mossy agate (I think that's what it is) outside of town in my favorite area. It weighs 1.5 pounds!
I always enjoy watching your videos, thanks for putting this on my to-do list!
Hey, My son and I were looking at starting a UA-cam channel. What program(s) you use for audio and or video editing? Thanks for any suggestions you may have!
Did you have a portable saw with you...if so what kind.
No, I hauled them home and cut them on my trim saw.
My husband teases me about how I always reach my "50lb" limit
How does one find these areas y'all go? I'm unfamiliar with Yellowstone area.
It's definitely a process! I use a combination of public lands maps, geologic maps and Google Earth to try to find possible sites.
I like the format of this video. As I learn about your rocks, it's easier to relate to the "hunt, find, clean, slab" progression when it is shown in a short segment. Thanks for putting together this video and sharing the thrills of rockhounding.🪨⛏⚒💎🙏
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'd love to do this every time, but cutting, in general, takes a lot of time.
@@KatyDidRocks Carry on and keep on doing!
