Combination of lumpers riding on the back of the packers and the hazards associated with the packers compressing the debris and potential of shooting debris back at the lumper, automated pickup should be mandatory. The days of lumpers should be outlawed!🇺🇸
@@jamieo8653terrible take, these guys know the risks of job, plenty of more dangerous jobs. End of the day they signed up for it and they want to get paid. Automation is bad for the economy
Most do not know the hazards. I have a friend who was lumping for Waste, they were compacting, a piece of steel shot back at him and hit his eye. Numerous surgeries and over 2 years to recover his sight. Cost WM/workers comp hundreds of thousands of dollars to close the case. Lumpers don’t think of things like this eye issue or getting hit by a car sliding on snow or driver texting. I am in construction, there is plenty of safe work which someone can make good money. Automation has an upfront cost to implement but once implemented, it is cheaper and safer for everyone involved.
Like the 1st day at school, everything is NEW!🇺🇸
Yup

Its the best way of collection
Automated is faster and clearly safer thus better for the environment.

@@jamieo8653Semi Automated is faster with the right people and I dont see how a collection type can be better for the environment or not
Classic capitol, gotta love em
Love hate with them. I loved abc😔
I thought ABC DISPOAL HAD NEW BEDFORD
They did until now
That’s the first time I’ve seen a white capital truck collecting trash
Capitol is everywhere in Massachusetts now
Yup
I am amazing OSHA continues to allow lumpers to ride the back of the packers! Happy 4th!🇺🇸
I don’t think any rules apply to capitol. At this point I can say I’ve almost seen it all
Very rarely any accidents as a result of it
They’re called helpers 😎. They can ride with safe speeds. That’s why they have handles.
Happy 4th of July!
