Capitol Waste Mack LEU Leach 2RIII 423 on Wet Recycling

Here’s one of 3 Mack LEU Leach 2RIIIs that Capitol purchased in 2010. These bodies were painted white for recycle duty, the same as Capitol’s Labrie Experts and more recently their New Way Vipers and Heil PT1000s.
I found this truck working in the Back Bay area of downtown Boston. Back Bay is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the city, home to Senator John Kerry and other elites. This area, along with 20+ others in the city used to be serviced by Sunrise Scavenger until 2018, when they lost the contract and Capitol took over on the first of January 2019. Since then, Sunrise has auctioned off 3/4 of their fleet and been bought out.
The nature of this route requires very small containers, if any. As you’ll see, most of the recycling is in clear bags, with trash in black, similar to New York City. You’ll also see a satellite truck come and dump.
