Which bulb ( there are only 2 as far as I can tell) do you replace if you turn on your lights at night and nothing comes on in back? The turn signal, brake lights and reverse work.
Well I feel bad. I broke both of those plastic plugs but one still works kind of. I broke the plastic thing holding the light in place and the little metal contacts clips came out and it appears one broke. If this is an easy job then I just can't do it. I may buy a new assembly and replace the whole thing.
I like to practice at a salvage yard. I collect the fasteners, electrical sockets and the lens assembly at a much lower price than a new one. If I break it on removal I can figure out how it is attached so that I don't break mine. Sometimes you can find these parts on e-bay or amazon for a lot cheaper than what a dealership/stealership has to charge.
did you ever had a blinking issue with the leds in the back? in the font of our 07 with under 57k miles, dodge grand caravan with the 3.8L i had to put in a resistor for the DRL's, do i need one for the back or no?
@@TechiePocket1 I’m curious. I want to get leds for the rear. The whole front end is led converted and so is most of the interior. Because of the design how they made it different in the rear for the lights how did you install a resistor?
Thank you! I'd been putting off changing the light thinking it would be time consuming and difficult. Your video really helped!
Perfect! I was wondering how to get the wire harness off, and you said how simple and easy it is. 0:30
@@WaltDittrich glad it helped
Thanks. Excellent instructions made the job simple and eash. Much appreciated!
Best vid yet
While you are there, why not clean up the connections and apply a little dielectric grease?
Sure that's a good idea
Thanks, good instructor. My fingers are not strong enough to mash it though.

It's sounds like your car is staying in drl mode. Those are the only bulbs in the rear not sure which ones you're trying to replace. Licence plate?

load resistor and flasher relay needed too i guess
The reverse bulb does not need a relay or resistor. The signal bulb needs a resistor.

I didn't need one for the reverse light. But the signal bulb needed a resistor.

@@KhaiMahase same as front. Wired it into the harness and screwed it into the body
@@TechiePocket1 which wires did you tap a resistor into?
Thanks
Very good video. Good idea on using a hammer.
Thanks for the link
