didn't have milk so my dad went to get some, but when he comes back i'll be sure to try it!! 😚
did he come back?
@@s_beetlebum_s not yet but i'll be patient!! :D
you’re gonna be waiting a long time …
haha sameeeee. He should be back anyyyy timeeeee now, its only taken him 16 years
💀
I did this recipe and it was super easy, considering that i am not chef material at all💀
if you are vegan or allergic to milk, this works perfectly with almond milk! i also used potato starch instead of corn, and it worked as well! 🥰
@Lacompote Vegetal butter??
@Lacompote margerine but i would rather use coconut butter if you have any, the saturated fats inside of it will give it a cremier taste and more of a smooth texture, it's going to be unhealtier but again, when you make sweets that's the last thought you should have! :)
@Lacompote Margarine
@@JuanAntonioGarciaHeredia lol
@Lacompote Nuttelex usually works out well, if you can handle it's ingredients. Substitute with it all the time since baking's one of my hobbies, but everyone's allergic to dairy.
In case anyone is curious about cultures, here in Brazil we have a very similar recipe called "brigadeiro", it takes the same ingredients shown in this video, the only difference is that we use one more ingredient which is "condensed milk"❤️
How much of condensed milk would you add to the amount of ingredients shown in the video? I really wanna try it now :)
And they taste absolutely amazing
@@user-vh8qn6zh3p300g that here in Brazil is the whole box, try it, it's really good!
@@user-vh8qn6zh3p we use the whole can to make a portion of it, it's about 330ml or 395g, but if you wanna make traditional brigadeiro I recommend you to look for it's recipe, because this one it's not exactly it, for example we don't' use corn starch or even cocoa for the traditional one, we use only chocolate, condensed milk and butter, but that depends on your taste haha
@@laras1072 thank you for elaborating. I just love sweets so condensed milk and chocolate sound very tasty!
I have made this recipe numerous times. The first time I made it, it tasted AMAZING but it was very very sticky and I could barely cut it. The second time it was sticky again and so I melted it down and got it hotter. This helped a lot. If yours turns out sticky put it back in the pan and cook it at a higher heat for longer than before.
Good tips will have to try next time, mine were just like you said, a bit too sticky
This was so good tysm! I don’t have cornstarch and if you don’t either plain/ all-purpose flour is a great alternative. Happy Baking! 🍫
“happy baking” love that
Is it okay with powdered milk?
@@chasselmelony5648 yes! I think so.
Can we use corn flour instead
@@aleezazafar103 I’m not sure. Corn flour and corn starch are quite different but I’m not an expert so you might have to check. Sorry if this didn’t help.
they're right! here in Brasil, we have this very similar recipe called "Brigadeiro", which is very famous in birthday parties along with the birthday cake. it is made with condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder, and there are many variations of this base recipe. we usually cook it for less time and eat it with a spoon.
yes! i’m a Brazilian living in Australia and my family always makes brigadeiro for special celebrations such as christmas, birthdays, even easter! i love the ones covered in chocolate sprinkles
i also love eating them with strawberries, ITS DELICIOUS
Dude it's papa de Cremogema not Brigadeiro...
@@Nicole-yc2le it's a overcooked starch porridge not a brigadeiro...
@@jrzlz yeah, it's not the same recipe it's just similar, we don't use corn starch in our Brigadeiro
yes! the candy made in the video is not a brigadeiro, but it is surely similar (and I believe that our Brazilian recipe with only three ingredients is even tastier...)
I loved that you put in the weights as well as the cup measurements. So helpful!
I'm in love with the Coco
Pour 240ml of milk into pan
Add 3 tablespoons of cacao powder; Mix
Add 200g of sugar and 60g of corn starch; Mix
Place on low heat and mix
Add a pinch of salt
Stir in 10g of butter
Cook until mixture can be cleanly removed from the pan
Pour mixture into a prepared baking paper loaf tin and let cool
Once completely cooled, remove dessert from baking paper and cut into rectangles, then squares
Roll squares in 20g of cacao powder.
Enjoy!
Hi man
What means corn starch?
@@machikuragi6886 persian
thanks!
@@machikuragi6886 cornflour
this kind of looks like the concept of fudge mixed with mochi, pretty neat!
Yum. This recipe is amazing and easy to make. Thanks 👍👍
Yum it's looks so delicious. Looking forward to make it on Easter day😋
I find the way it leaves the pan so satisfying!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahaha
I love seeing foods and snacks made that are from far away places. It's amazing what some cultures can create with minimal items. I might try making this soon with my son. 🙂👍👍
Absolutely!!
I just wanna eat all the food this guy makes 😋
Nefis görünüyor ellerine sağlık afiyet olsun 😋👌👍😋😋
I just made it today and it's too delicious 💖🤤
In the US we have a dish called peanut butter delight, kind of similar has a two teaspoons of cocoa a whole stick of butter, 2 cups of sugar, one small can evaporated milk, cook that on medium heat when it boils cook for two minutes then add in two cups one minute oats 1 tea spoon vanilla and 1 cup peanut butter mix the entire time. Spoon onto aluminum foil and enjoy. It’s one of my favorite easy to make recipes
Thanks for the comment
I love the look of these I must make myself, great idea for a petit four or a party.
Looks delicious
salamat sa pagshare Ng video, madali pala gawin
That's so cool! Thank you!
There is a sweet very similar in my country (which is Brazil). It's called brigadeiro, it takes condensed milk and powdered chocolate. It's very good, I recommend you try it 💕😉
@Pup Squad Search youtube for recipe 😉
it don't take sugar😭 condensed milk its already very sweet, the recipe actually only takes powdered chocolate, condensed milk and butter
It's very offensive that you compare this and the texture of it, which looks more like a candy, to our brigadeiro. THEY'RE NOTHING ALIKE!!!!!!!!
That’s beautiful
it is the first time I cook in my life and I must say that I came out well
This must give it a try
we have fudge candies in Poland, and this one looks like with chocolate. We called them "krówki" 🤤
Thanks for the comment, Krowki sounds delicious I must try it one day
They are caramel, arent they? My polish family and friends say so
Not sure, but I love them!
@@lookatwutimade4787 Yes, they are made of milk, butter and sugar, they can have different flavors - milk, chocolate, caramel, I have also eaten coconut recently 😊 They are delicious!
Btw krówki is similar to cows in english
In Brazil we call it brigadeiro, it's very popular at parties. I usually use a heavier cream and I don't use the corn starch, it's common to roll it into small balls too
if you prefer, you can use regular milk and cook until looks good, but it takes a little longer ^-^
(Sorry for bad English)
Noice
Looks delicious! 😋
Love your video 🔥
Al fin una receta de brigadeiros que no usen leche condensada (que es lo que casi nunca se compra). Iré a hacerlos ahorita 😂

I used Milo and Nesquick powder as an alternative and it tasted great! Thanks for the recipe
Thanks

How long did yours take to thicken
Can we use cocoa powder?
Thx fr the recipe 😋👌
Turns out this is a Brazilian dish! Thanks for letting me learn about another piece of culture :)
It's my pleasure
I made the orange ones using your recipe and they were amazing! I'm surprised to see that you can swap in milk and cacao so will definitely try this variation!
Thank you for the inspiration! 🍊🍫
Glad you like them. Cheers

OMG that was so good I made this my self and let me tell you that was the best you do not know how good I'm talking about but to be honest with you at the end when I put it in the frige it did cool down but it was not that hard texture it was just really sticky so what I did was roll them in to little small balls then I rolled them in coco powder to make them not that sticky and when I put it in my mouth I swear I fell in love with it so can you please make more videos like this thank you
Looks delicious and healthy
I don’t have my milk but my dad left a few years ago to get some… excited to make some of these when he gets back!

Add cinnamon to powdercoat or coconutpowder. You may add cardamomegrains when cooking, and finely chopped nuts or cherries.
what about making chai tea instead of coco milk? and might use rice milk instead of dairy for skin reasons
