Hello. I am writing to you from Turkey. I am a 2005 model Piaggio X9 500 user. TPS adjustment is required after throttle body part replacement. However, the X9500 model has been removed from the program. Naturally, the authorized service cannot do anything. Is there a way to add these models? My motorcycle has been faulty for months. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Why dealer only? 🤔 I have the 2021 vespa sprint and trying to learn to fix stuff myself and be more independent hope they can offer ways to empower the people more so. God bless America and the rest of the planet
Hi Robot. Is it any major difference using PADS vs Guzzidiag tool? It looks like the same funcions as Guzzidiag have. Only on Guzzidiag there is no option to ABS brake system bleed.
It's possible to remap/increase power a Medley 2020 with P.A.D.S? I'm using TechPulley rollers and the improvement is noticeable but I don't feel the 15hp of this engine anywhere. Thanks you.
Tip-over short circuit to positive ! are you saying that if one is on a long trip you drop the scooter over onto it's side, one would have to find a dealership and pay to get this reset so one could carry on with the trip ???
I have a 2009 aprilia mana 850 and i would like to know what other tool will work for retraining it and everything after getting my belt changed please ?
what I would like to know is, in PADS is there a menu to raise the rev limit. if anyone knows please tell me how so I can tell my local dealer how its done as he says it can't but I'm convinced it can.
I have a 2014 300 gts that runs fine but the efi light stays on. I have changed everything but I can't get the light to go out. Can I reset it without the piaggio software ie disconnect the battery?
Nice to watch, I found the tool online and I could buy it but in my opinion it's a piece of electronic junk as it displays unknown codes that only the manufacturer's specialized technicians can unlock. I still prefer the traditional carburetor engines because I'm an old school mechanic so I know how to deal with 2 stroke engines, and it's MUCH CHEAPER!
It's an idiotic, exploitative system! I hate that! The manufacturer collects a yearly fee just for allowing the dealer to use the diagnostic device. Without the dealer, it is completely impossible for the customer to determine what is missing from his scooter if it has something to do with the controller. I definitely think of the stupid controller as a big brother. I believe the controller data in a car will even be admitted as evidence in traffic courts. THIS ALL HAS TO CHANGE DRASTICALLY!
I have a 2019 Honda PCX 150 and 2020 Vespa GTS 300. I will keep my Honda because of the reliability. I bought the Vespa a month later because I always wanted a Vespa.
@@nica080910 yes, vespa does have a "cool" factor that cannot be denied, I like the HONDA PCX, but I could see myself doing the same thing as you, have both.
@@nica080910 I have a 2013 Kawasaki KLR650 (they are all carburated and anyone, worldwide can work on them) and a 2018 Vespa GTS 300 Touring with 1400 miles and the engine light won't go out, but runs fine. Gotta haul it 100 miles to closest dealer next week to get it fixed. Then I'm going to look at trading it off. I love my vespa, but hate the electronics that only a dealer can work on.
I disagree 100%. The older carbureted model ran forever and if they did need some work, the problem was easy and cheap to find and fix. Some of the new electronic, computerized cars and motorcycles do have a long life, but every brand is plagued with electronic glitches and gremlins. The ones that aren't, do run for a long time with no maintenance, but I've never owned a newer vehicle with electronics (112 cars/trucks and 57 motorcycles) that didn't need the computers updated (and it's always because of potential or real problems) or diagnostics done to try to fix a problem, and it's always hit and miss. The diagnostics are not fail-proof and the dealers often replace parts that the diagnostics says is bad, only to find out it didn't fix the problem, and sometimes (I've had this happen to me at least 3 times) they were never able to find and fix the problem. Mechanical things may not last as long, but they are easier and a lot cheaper to fix and any shade-tree mechanic can fix it. Right now I have a 2013 Kawasaki KLR650 (yep, carbureted model) and a 2018 Vespa GTS300 Touring model, and guess which one is in the shop with computer problems? ONly 1400 miles on the Vespa. Kawasaki has less than 8000 miles and never seen the inside of a shop. Makes you think the manufacturers computerize everything just to keep repair shops in business.
ECU and injector system is SUCKS, they maybe good in fuel consumption, but fixing thing on that, makes you spend more money. Compared to 2T Vespa, the modern Vespa just lika a Crap Bike with EURO Standard Emission on it... Oh i forget, plus mobillizer, nothing less...
Now I'm having issues with speedometer just suddenly stopped working after i reset the trip B digital panel... 2019 abs primavera S... Now speedo no longer works nd abs kicks in erratically

Good Robot for great knowledge
Thanks Robot!
Please, show us more troubles and fixing for our Vespas. Like unusual noises for example.
good idea!
Thanks for the video, very informative. I wouldn't really want to leave an air cooled bike like a Guzzi running whilst being diagnosed though.

Hello
One question
Which diagnostic tool should i use for my Aprilia SR 160 version
I'm wondering if the GTS 300 2023 wrench icon (Service indicator) has to be reset after oil service by using the PADS??
I know triumph have been using OBD2 on their bikes for a long time. Still very interesting stuff.
Is there something similar to PADS available to the consumer?
Hi Robot. Is it any major difference using PADS vs Guzzidiag tool? It looks like the same funcions as Guzzidiag have. Only on Guzzidiag there is no option to ABS brake system bleed.
I would assume the event was the fuel cut off activation. It might record the pre and post event stats. Like a car would for roll over etc.
