Good game ,also The time advantage won't always work for stockfish or leela because of White's first move advantage and they are just too good Time odds is still a cool concept tho
Leela 1 node is pretty strong (aka, when leela doesn't calculate any variations and just plays a move on eval). If you try flipping the time handicap, you might see Leela on a good GPU beat SF
Thanks a lot for the comment! I've tried that before this video, if you want you can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/RwEzdPwNSko/v-deo.html also Leela uses RTX 2080 GPU which is pretty enough for calculating moves. 🫶❤️ But I've come to the conclusion that 30 seconds is not enough for Leela after all, I might be wrong but still It was worth trying anyway. Thanks a lot again. If you have any more questions or suggestions feel free to comment! ❤️
@@Xenonity Tbh, 2080 is pretty basic for Leela's needs :) The time requirement increases quite a bit with the size of network file. You could try with a smaller network but that does affect playing strength and leela would rely more on nps which wouldn't be a match for SF. As per latest TCEC results, latest leela dags are almost as strong as SF (20 elos give or take)
There is an option in the engine settings that determines “thinking time” I’m changing that for the video. Also a lot of people asked how I do these bot battles and how I make them play against eachother so I’ll try to explain as good as I can: I use a cloud server for my videos which is pretty fast for calculating tons of moves. Altough GPU/CPU-cores matter for calculating a lot of moves, the main reason Stockfish drew against itself or close engines is because they already find the “best” moves efficiently, without trying to evaluate the position deeper. Newer versions of the engines finds the “best” moves more efficient even though the processor or the GPU is the same. That’s why there is that ELO difference. I hope I explained well. ❤️❤️🫶 If you have any more questions feel free to ask them as well. 🤗❤️

Bro you are the best. thx for keeping things spicy
thank you so much!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️
Keep going bro!❤❤
u should try stockfish 15.1 vs stockfish 15.1 but with more intense time differences to see how fast it can exactly calculate
pretty good idea! thank you I’ll do that. ❤️🫶
@@Xenonity :D
Bro stockfish is already better without the time advantage
Could you do all 9 games of wc in 1 vid next?Pwety pweeese! Nice match also by the way.
Nice content man, keep up the great work :)
thank you so much! ❤️
Let's make stockfish 15.1 with depth 100 vs magnus
This music in video is perfect and suits the match between chess bots.
Great Video!!
I appreciate that, thanks a lot! ❤️
I love these types of videos where bots with high levels pf intelligence just battle out each other in a game. A chess game.
Good game ,also

Yo do you know where you got the moves from?

If it's easy to explain what do you use to make the engine play each other and how do you give someone a time advantage?

@@Xenonity thank you for your explanation, your videos are great ❤️
Now do the poisite
Wt?? Isn't this a surprising result as stockfish is stronger than leela?
Nice
What is the reason for the draw?
