Great video Todd! I have hit both of your demonstrated fat and skinny shots and it was probably caused by head movement. I liked your belt line thought to keep the hips in their proper angle. The last thing is your right, left drill which I have begun to do in order to get more shoulder depth in my swing. Great job Todd! Keep up the good work!
Thanks John!

I play every week in a Tuesday morning nine-hole ladies group and other times as I can. I’m almost 72 years old and still working with my son in our construction business, so time is limited. I’m probably playing the best I ever have right now and always trying to improve.

I love this video. So I am a puller. My biggest miss is hitting the ball a little thin including with the driver. The shots go mostly straight but I loss a lot of distance. I think this tip will really help and can't wait to try it out. I am from Cincinnati, Ohio.
You got this! How will the Bengals be this year?
@@USGOLFTVshow It all depends on how the offensive line gels. They made a lot of changes that look better on paper, but you have to play as a unit.

Mike from Devon , UK . The three step drill really works for me in practice rounds , but I worry that I might slow up play when I’m playing with my mates or in competitions . Have you any advice ?
Mike, good question. The key is to begin your process while your fellow golfers are also looking at their shot. If we move quickly and are ready, it is doable. How is the golf season in the UK?

How about do one on putting on how to put your hands on putter I am lost with this club from 10 feet in I’m awful
Good idea, will pass forward to the content team. thanks!
Terry here from Surrey in the UK. I'm an 11 handicapper and ex ice and field hockey player. My swing is more like a slapshot and on my practice swings I don't dip but on my actual shot I dip so much that sometimes my right knee is close to the ground!! My mates call me the knee dipper!! I will try your right/left 3 times before hitting my shot drill.
Terry, welcome to VLS Golf and the Vertical Line Swing. You would benefit from reading this www.badliegolfbook.com/
Watching and living in The Villages, FL. If I could ever solve the head dipping (loss of spine angle), I might be a decent golfer. Because of this problem, I suffer from 'chicken wing' and inconsistent contact, as well as lack of compression...... all of which equal lack of distance.
Richard, appreciate your posting. If you like our videos you will enjoy our book where I break down the entire swing and short game. Here you go www.badliegolfbook.com/
Im a Jr. In Oklahoma
I can’t find a video on dipping your head when chipping….
Some of head movement due to a lack of flexibility I think.
Agree with this, yes. Lack of mobility is the reason for many of the swing struggles golfers face.
The head needs to turn otherwise it gets in the way. Your shoulder is touching your chin and restricting your turn.
So to not drop your head, your tip is to not move the head. Ground breaking stuff here.
This was awful. Just say “right, left” out loud in your practice swing???
