Yes it was! Winner winner, chicken dinner. That Kershaw Lucha balisong trainer has the Flytanium 1.5 splatter pattern aluminum handles installed - it will be a future review. The Spartan is solid! Thanks for stropping by!
I am so in love with the Pallas . I have had 2 and the one I am carrying right now has been put through hell for about 3 years. Definitely my favorite knife. It was a very hard thing to do,but I had 2 choose between the socom and the Pallas.
I haven't done a review of the SHF yet, but I can say I prefer the Pallas over it as a user knife in almost every respect. It surprised me the more I used it. Thanks for stropping by!
Given how a plunge lock works, it would take some very careful milling on the tang of the blade where the piston ever-so-slightly sits to create resistance in the closed position...go to far and you will have created a double locking knife with only only one deployment method (ala the Civivi button lock Elementum). But do let me know if you are able to do it with your Pallas :-).
I just purchased off of a fellow forume user a we the people edition of the pallas in S35VN and a flag edition ZT 0095bw. I am definitely stoked to be getting these but not as stoked as the forum user since he is selling to get the money for his new Grismo Rask that he just got drawn for.
Thanks man. And thanks for stropping in as always Rodney! As a user, I actually prefer the Pallas because of it's ease in gloves, but they are both well made.
Very much so - good call. I wish the aluminum ones would make their way to market sometime soon again. It makes me wonder when the pool of so many knives will become "available", because I'm just not seeing the backlog release.
@@MitchBollig yeah, something I hear allot of people complaining about a 3 or 400$ knife with aluminum scales or handle or whatever. The Socom elite and Pallas are 2 that I hear that about allot. I think it's an awesome material. Look at protech , microtech and even the old Dalton knives.
If you already have an 0562 CF, I'd spread the joy and go for the Pallas. But if you HAD an 0562 CF and then moved it along, between the 2, I'd probably choose the 0562. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for stroppin by to ask!
was it the Bali trainer??? great job I really dig this blade

Great looking knife. I wonder if I could tighten up that detent for better flip action.

Love your style... Great review
Hey thanks! It means a lot to hear feedback. Cheers!
The aluminum version of the freeman is a really good comparison to the Pallas.
