Excellent topic to start with. Hope that we see more such important topics soon. Thank you so much. Cleared so many things. The xrays and the pfts, very nicely explained.
Thankyou sir and maam for awesome discussion Maam..u said he is puffing and hence hypoventilating.....and is maintaining spo2 due to hyperventilation How come Hypoventilating and hyperventilating at the same time..........am I missing something? Would u please elaborate...
just looking at the q one cn answer 2 because he is breathing through pursued lips to maintain air pressure ...so this in x-ray a barrel chest simply tells u that this is EMPHYSEMA ...now in emphysema there is highly decreased FEV1 as compared to FVC so 2 is answer
This is not for patient education.. It's for the usmle exam... For people who did 5.5 years of MBBS... You can do the same.. Start with the basic biology of 10+2 and get to advanced level... Takes the same time and effort... 5.5 years + 2 years for 10+2.. Not everything you see on the internet wrt medicine is for patient education... Especially academics shouldn't be taught keeping in mind that patients can understand.. This isn't a layman's class...
