- hello guys,
Today I'll work on a china 2650 movement,
I'll use rodico putty, white petrol and Elma to clean this movement.
I hope you guys will like my work, thanks for watching my video 🙂
I have taken notice of how you remove the mainspring from the barrel. I would like to suggest a different process. You can remove the dpring arbor first by gently twisting it in the direction counter to winding, it should clear the catch on the spring and be easy to pull out. Next from a 45° angle imsert the lower tip of your tweezers under the center area of the spring with the upper tip above. Theb insert the lower tip into the arbor hole on the barrel. Then start to turn the barrel with the other hand . In the backwards direction ... It should make for better controlled removal, with less risk if spring damage. I find it very impressive the level of service you can achieve with the minimum of equipment. Much respect, and very interesting videos. I have thus exact same movement in a watch i own . It us a good watch. Thank You 🫡 Good Fortunes, Great Successes and Many Blessings 💜🙏
Bro thank you soo much i messed up my watch after opennig it ❤️🔥and you taught me how to assemble it.
No problem 👍
Thank you very much, because of your video i was able to successfully clean and lubricate this movement, you are very good. I used normal multi purpose grease and baby oil with tooth pick, together with self ground screwdriver and tweezers. It went very smoothly, only mistake was i wound the spring the wrong way. Now it runs very good.
You are welcome!
see you have a couple of small fans watching your work as well.
Yeah, I know 😂
Bravo Maestro! You found beauty everywhere.
Thanks brother
Fantastic work ! one thing, the movement here is a Calibre 2650SZ since its an automatic. 2650S is manual winding only.
Thanks for your valuable advice , I'll definitely change the video title 🙂
Done, thank-you 🙂
Are these Chinese auto watches worth buying over quartz movement?
Yes yes yes. The biggest failings I have found are in the case quality. (Seals gaskets "the lack of") Most of the watches I find are "Fashion Watches" not really good for swimming and diving, but you can find Chinese Driving Watches. That is just my opinion. I hope this helps . 🤝
I have a new found respect for the durability of Chinese movements...
Yes they are quite reliable 😅.
And i used 3x reading glasses alongside with a small magnifier glass.
You can use a flattened peg wood to fix the train bridge instead of screwdriver or tweezer as it leaves a lot of scratches on the heavily polished train bridge.
I'll definitely start using it 🙂
Heavily polished? These Chinese movements look like they were made with a pencil sharpener under magnification. They are good running movements once they are cleaned and lubricated though.
Why did you remove the bug? Now the amplitude will drop significantly :(
😅
Sir my watch escape upper tip is also broke same tongji movement can you service my watch and replace its scape wheel

I don't know.... nice work... but - as many collegeaus allready wrote - please don´t hesitate to buy at least an easy set of Watchmakers Tools (it must not be Bergeon or Horotec)... Very impressive is the really inovating kind of oiling the jewels with a taylor Needle, removing the hands with screwdrivers seems to be - little bit - "heavy Industry".... I think the only one professional watchmaker Supervisor on this video, is the Beetle, walking on the right side of the table at 1.28´´ .. Sorry, i don´t want be mean....
Hello sir, Thanks for watching my video, I will definitely take your response in positive way. But, this is my old video and that time, I had no basic tools.
Not trying to make any excuse, I have a small (shop) cabin on roadside and money is little tight for me.
Still not trying to make any excuse, Please watch my latest videos. I have bought some basic tools and I have also made little bit improvement in my work too.
And forgive me, If my response came as rude or sarcastic. English is my second language...
Thanks for reading this wall of text😅...
To clean this wodment
Never been so rude until I see this... 😱😱
I am so sorry, my video made you feel this way I hope you will check my new videos I have improved a lot
luckily you're not a surgeon!
I will take that as a compliment, thank you 😅🤣. Anyway please check out my new videos I have improved my skills a lot.
Thanks for watching my video, means a lot to me 🙂.
My little grey gear refuses to set under the header piece
Which little gear?
@@watchwizard sorry im very much a novice, when you were putting the golden ones there was a small grey one the had a little stem with a gear on the end. You sandwiched it between the bridge pieces and I’d seemed to click into the top one for you, for me it stays very loose and even fell out when I moved onto a different part
@@watchwizard 12:05
Oh, escape wheel,
Check your escape wheel pinion's, (tip points of the wheel)
I think they are broken 🙁...
@@watchwizard ah yes, that’ll do it! The top part is smooth where I’m assuming there should be a pin… thank you very much for the help!
What a bad movement . It's all shaking😅
Yeah I know 😂
