- Welcome to AMP! A lot goes into making our Annealing machine and not everyone gets to see what's involved. So here's a glimpse of what we do and also the great team of Kiwis who make it happen!
This was all filmed on Matt's phone!
Always satisfying to see a manufacturer who truly makes their product locally rather than farming it out to foreign factories in non-democratic nations. Keep those jobs at home & keep that money in NZ. Cheers from Canada!
Now I understand why the high price tag. It appears the price is actually quite reasonable. I cant believe the work that goes into such a fine product. I will buy on soon.
Who can legitimately question the price point of this machine. So many points of manufacturing. Credit to AMP.
Definitely makes a person feel better about the money they spend on a machine like that!
No lie pretty much a a bargain huh?
I was just thinking the same thing! I just ordered one 1 hour ago.
Love my AMP! Thank You everybody that worked on it.
Great to see you're helping the local economy by keeping the manufacturing processes in NZ.
Just bought one yesterday before they sold out in less then 2 minutes! This video has been an eye opener to how these are made...wow!! Total honesty...thought these were built in-house. Thanks for this video!
I can see why the machine cost as much as it does. awesome job everyone keep up the good work. this is a amazing product.
Best laboratory grade annealler ever! Thank you so much for bringing this technology to the reloader, nothing comes close to this precision or ease of use. So easy to swich between brass and calibres and get perfect results. No wonder you're called Annealing Made Perfect!
I feel more confident than ever that I will own one of your units one day. As an electrical engineering student, you inspire me. As an prescision reloder, you motivate me. Maybe when I am done with my degree I can come work for you. Great video too! Much love from SoCal.
Very cool and informative!!
You are showing the complexity of a production but on the other hand the possibilites of todays manufacturing possibilites (eg. laser cutting of the housing) for small volumes like the AMP device (not 100.000 or millions like for a smartphone) and maintaining a very high quality. This could be a teaching leasson for other innovative Entrepreneurs. But I do not want to know the endless hours you spent to make all this happen...
Great job!
My compliments and my respect!
I've done work like this before - designing something, taking it to production... trying to keep an eye on costs while also having your heart tell you every minute to make the best quality unit. It looks like you're there - thanks for the memories and great job.
Wow! I'm even more impressed after seeing what really goes into the AMP Annealer. I knew I was getting the best when I purchased mine and you guys continue to deliver.
Great product! Love mine! Wonderful video of all the hard work and dedication to bring it to market. Thank you!
Great presentation. The song choice made it even more enjoyable!
Awesome video! I want one of these so bad! Great to see the intricacies and the processes of all that's involved in making these units! Nice job guys!
After reloading for 10 years, I think this will make everything come together and be the icing on the cake at the end of brass prep. I respect the price tag, I know what quality costs and that it's really worth it. I need to save up some cash because here in Germany they really upsell it badly lately.
Just out of curiosity: are reloading dies controlled in Germany too? I’m under the impression that I live in the only country that you need a license to own one… 😒
@@VincitOmniaVeritas7 Not regulated Here, where do you live? North Korea?
Have had very good results with this product, despite the claims of induction annealing burning the zinc out of the brass. Have not experienced premature cracking of the case neck as claimed. Thank you AMP for a great tool for people who reload and enjoy different ways to make our reloading less complicated.😀
John Barton they’re full of it. Only around the melting point do you burn out zinc.
Wow! Just wow! All those people giving their best to make sure its right. Now I understand the price.
`so good to see so much is hand built, a lost art mostly nowadays.... well done everyone... and it works great, best thing I bought...👍
Love my AMP annealer. Worth every penny I spent on it. Now if they could make the AMP Press work with an IOS like IPad.
So many steps!!! This was really cool seeing the build process. I wonder what the margins are considering the creation process. All I can say is this thing is totally worth the price.
Wow it’s a privilege to own one thanks team 👍🏻
What a relief it’s made in NZ and not farmed out to a low cost producer well I’m sure the electronic parts are but quality control and employing locals is a real bonus.
Yesterday i've got mine... i love that device! Thank you very much! Greets from Germany, Dennis
Wow. Excellent product.
Cool video. Thanks for the look inside and for making a great annealler.
I like that all the IC's and Inductor circuits are designed and made locally (to Kiwi's) with no trace of chinesium in them. Just ordered mine after selling all my other chinesium induction annealing attempts. Can't wait for it.
Well after my first day of getting the AMP annealer I love it. Annealed 250 300 blackouts and about 105 308 winchesters. Extremely quick and easy, and no shutdowns due to the large round count going through it
Wow great job. I am going to buy this next week.
feels good to own one of these the annealing process is ridiculously easy with it!
Absolutely amazing, mine is on its way just ordered it, cant wait for it to arrive!
Santa brought me one, ordered my 4 pilots I will start with. Can’t wait
Excellent presentation. Very professional.
Definitely helps explain why they cost what they do!
Killer video guys!! Im getting ready to purchase one!
So much work, good job by all of you!
Very well done!!
Obviously a well made product. Cheers from Oz.
In addition to purchasing a high quality device, I never mind paying for a really good idea. I always try to take as much subjectivity as possible out of reloading. This annealing machine, with it's AZTEC Program, makes annealing objective.
Great to see you'd guys outsourcing to NZ companies!
Awesome video thanks 👍👍👍
Hah love all the pop rivets, clearly you don't want people peeking. I might have to pick one up...was considering making my own induction annealer but my time is valuable as well. I do hope that internal USB cable has really positive retention or you throw a zip tie over it tho...
Can’t wait to buy mine!
I am certain that I want one of these. I’m just not certain if there are not many other factors in my shooting that will improve my results more than this if I work on them 😅
Looks like I will be purchasing one of those 😅
Love mine. I handload for six calibers. All my SD’s are less than 5!
Did I see a hat going in the box?
I didn't get a hat 😟
Great product, clearly well made, even the ones that came with no hats 😢
I am looking forward to get one. Sold out everywhere in Germany :(
It's a big little operation
Kiwi's doing it.
Wow!
Infomercial Made Perfect!
Has there been any indication that induction annealing provides for more precision than that of flame annealing ? I understand there is no flame involved, but does that actually matter in terms of precision shooting ?
Maybe one day.
Very nice video
I noticed a direct correlation to increasing the playback speed where the music was tolerable to the production of the crew. Odd ;-)
And I thought that I was the last person on the planet using a simple hand soldering iron!
very good, nice nice. where is the link to online store?!
Here is the link to our online store if you are in the USA: shop.ampannealing.com/annealer/build/
If you are an international customer you can see our distributor list here: www.ampannealing.com/distributors/
no wonder they are a bazillion dollars!
Will you be installing a warranty center in the USA to avoid overseas shipping?
Hi Jon,
We don't have a facility in the US yet but we are considering it.
We get very few warranty returns however we arrange the shipping ourselves so all you would need to do is pack it up and we do the rest.
Turn around time is usually 7-10 days.
@@annealingmadeperfect1257 That is excellent service. That doesn't happen in the USA very often. You guys are the real deal.
@@annealingmadeperfect1257 sounds awesome I hope you chose my state of Tennessee to make that happen. Around Murfreesboro would be awesome.
When in country would it be possible to purchase an AMP mk2 on-site?
Please send us an email at info@ampannealing.com and we will get back to you.
Now just ditch the rivets so it's actually possible to do repairs to the unit myself
SO... You can diagnose and repair electronics, yet don't have the skill to drill out a rivet ??
@@jasperpipes4222 I am an electrical engineer. So yes, but why would you make a design that is not easily repairable. Good logic bud
I still don't see 1600.00. Maybe 600 700 tops.
🤙🇮🇹
lol an ESD bench with PSGs all over it, even had the smocks on.
and it's under 1400 bucks!
I realize i am showing my ignorance in how things work, but i think it may be reasonable to also offer a model that uses the same power supply and coil but in the most economical housing and uses a cost effective, mass produced brain (such as a raspberry pi) and/or plugs into a separate device (pc, tablet) for control.
I still can't see $1400+ on these. Too much to go wrong with nowhere to fix it.
Regardless of where it’s made, it’s extremely overpriced for what it does. As a reloader for almost 40 yrs., I’d be embarrassed to tell anyone that I paid over US $1,500 for it. It’s simply not worth it. Have you noticed how the company has NO ENDORSEMENTS from any professional bench rest shooters. No shooter with any common sense would endorse such a “device”. I’m certain the machine does what it claims to do, but the $1,500+ price is ridiculous. What’s that old saying about a fool and his money? LOL!!
I really wish you didn't have that incredibly annoying noise which passes as music over an otherwise good video.
Sorry, I had to opt out at a little over 4 minutes. The assault on my senses was just too much. If you ever produce an actually enjoyable video I would love to see it.
It's called a mute button you halfwit
@@bruceevans56 Naw Man! Just double the playback speed and turn the sound down to get it over quickly. Looks like a great tool.
