It looks like 6 semi diesels or *hot bulb* engines linked together. An they run like a hit an miss engine. An its totally awesome! Runs good to. The only thing i see wrong with it is ITS NOT MINE! Lol
Very rare diesel indeed; I know in the mid-19th century horizontal steam engines were driving early screw vessels this way before standing type engines were developed, but I'm wondering what this engine has been driving in it's past life.
have NEVER seen one of these before very unusual and beautiful! I think someone need to put a blowlamp on those cylinders and preheat them! What a shame I really wanted this old girl to fire up so we can hear her run🙁

Das ist eine Schande was Die mit dem Motor anstellen Es muß doch eine Ursache haben das er nicht anspringt .Fragt Jemanden der etwas davon versteht und die Ursache behebt 😬😬😬
c'est bien beau tout ça, mais comme d'hab, sa pollue, mais bon, pas de panique, ne jettons pas ses fabuleux moteurs a la poubelle, il sufit de remplacer l'essence traditionelle par quel que chose de neutre en carbone et puis c'est tout
It is running on its own power after the first 30 seconds I think a big engine like that will never run properly with no load they will miss badly because they will never warm up and also have long periods of no firing atall to maintain an idle speed.

@@ras666 Hit and miss engines have been rare in Europe, they have been mostly a thing of the US. In Europe they early understood to fit a governor to engines. Has also been a licensing/patent issue. So even a big engine runs properly with a correctly adjusted governor under no load. UNLESS it's a hot bulb engine. They do require load to reach operating temperature
@ it's a diesel engine with a proper governor as far as I know but with it being such a large engine it will take a lot of running to become warm enough to properly combust. Also when they are cold and misfiring the governer can over compensate too much fuel leading to a surge then they cut the fuel off all together to slow down causing it to cool and start the miss fire again. My old lister does it when it's cold and the governer lincage is a little stiff.
