I have been lucky to see the Sukhishvili group perform a couple of times in the past... a phenomenal performance each time! 👍 Having been a dancer myself, I can tell how much dedication and hard work goes into perfecting such movements and routines. 😅 And it’s fascinating to see the similarities in the movements of dances across Asia and Europe (right from Japan, China, Russia to Thailand, India, Indonesia to Turkey, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria to Ireland, Spain etc) To a layman, it may not seem so but a little study and research will show how much the gestures and movements overlap between various cultures which I find absolutely fascinating ....Dance and music are such universal “languages”! So glad to see these amazing artistes bringing joy to the world! Bravo! ♥️
My parents took me and my brother to see the Georgian State Dancers when I was a kid -- probably 65 years ago. It was without a doubt the most mesmerizing performance I have ever seen. There's no way that a video can convey the sense of raw energy that we experienced watching them live. They are incredible and incomparable.

Their dance style , constumes and energy level all are perfect...I am seeing this dance style for first time and fell in love with it... I think if we learn this dance style we may not need any other routine to stay fit..
I saw them perform live at the International Tattoo in Norfolk. It's a military based festival, but many groups perform from all over the world every year. I hope they come back again. You just cannot beat seeing them live!
I had watched this video in August of 2019, and yesterday I saw them for the first time live - thanks to this video I got to know one of the most interesting cultures I've ever encountered and I'm so grateful for that. If you think that their movements are impressive, try watching them live accompanied by a musical performance, outstanding experience!

love my country ! God bless Georgians! მიყვარხართ !
I have been lucky to see the Sukhishvili group perform a couple of times in the past... a phenomenal performance each time! 👍 Having been a dancer myself, I can tell how much dedication and hard work goes into perfecting such movements and routines. 😅
And it’s fascinating to see the similarities in the movements of dances across Asia and Europe (right from Japan, China, Russia to Thailand, India, Indonesia to Turkey, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria to Ireland, Spain etc) To a layman, it may not seem so but a little study and research will show how much the gestures and movements overlap between various cultures which I find absolutely fascinating ....Dance and music are such universal “languages”! So glad to see these amazing artistes bringing joy to the world! Bravo! ♥️
This is the most amazing folk dance I've ever seen. Greetings from Croatia.
In 1990 had the honour and privilege of seeing these dancers in action, in Tbilissi.
Attending one of these performances live just went on my bucket list. Amazing stuff!
Thank u sir god bless you ❤
Lol, I am Armenian, but I feel proud for Georgians!
Keep it up!
I wish people of Georgia and Armenia ,don't hate each others..
We don’t hate each other.
I mean, Armenians don’t hate Georgians.
I don’t know about Georgians...
I know Georgians mock the Armenian accent a lot. But I'm sure it's like sibling fights. :)
(Yes, I know you're not related.)
people are always friendly, I have many armenian friends in georgia. even georgian and russian people have relationships but politics is other subject... georgia had no good political friends around
akhper 😊
They are amazing! Beautiful, powerful culture and art form!
Lots of love from Bulgaria! Georgia's dancers really are the best in the world!
Their dance style , constumes and energy level all are perfect...I am seeing this dance style for first time and fell in love with it...
I think if we learn this dance style we may not need any other routine to stay fit..
Dude, imagine just how many friendship bonds you'd have being in a group like this

Feels like a waste to have a such a good subject and be so short
Love Georgian culture, specially dance, with whole my heart. They are gorgeous 😍 ❤ 💖 💕!!!
I saw them perform live at the International Tattoo in Norfolk. It's a military based festival, but many groups perform from all over the world every year. I hope they come back again. You just cannot beat seeing them live!
What are the odds that on vacation in Georgia right now, and that my father was a sukhishvili dancer.... the answer is 100%

Oh man. It is totally outstanding. Never seen before

Salute to georgians from Armenia 👏🖒👌
Serli G thank you :)
Bari gisher to armians from russians
I wish I had that much energy and endurance it looks like a beautiful dance
Yo y'all's comments. I live for them. Also this is the coolest thing I've seen this month. Authenticity and discipline and dedication. Love it.
It's almost like the reverse of classic ballet, where the focal point in a piece typically seems to be the female and not the male. Love this!!!
Me: I think I can do that..
Arthritis: really?
🤣😂🤣
I have arthritis too.
How I wish I could dance!
What arthritis do to limit you?
@@Kiwipugato if its RA like mine, your immune system attacks the fluid in your joints because it thinks its foreign, leaving your joints achy and swollen. It could also lead to weaker bones and bone erosion. I used to dance when I was younger, I'm only 23 now, but RA has definitely changed my life.
This is all I was thinking about while watching this. I really wish I didn't wait to be in my 30's before attempting dance.
