We Install and Drive Test DJLBERMPW 48V 100Ah Golf Cart Battery
DJLBERMPW reached out to us to install and drive the DJLBERMPW 48V lithium golf cart battery in a Yamaha 48V cart. We did not purchase the battery and we are not paid to produce the video.
Video will detail how to install the DJLBERMPW 48V into an area originally designed for six 8V lead acid batteries.
After the battery install, the DJLBERMPW is ran to show how it performs up to 122 amps. Note more amps would be demanded with more passengers and if going uphill.
Our overall thoughts on the battery performance and difficulty of install:
Battery is shipped without a battery charger so a lithium 48V battery charger was purchased and mounted onboard
The DJLBERMPW battery does not sell with a battery state of charge meter so a Eco Worthy Hall Sensor was purchased to display the DJLBERMPW current status.
Install is DIY friendly and note additional items will be needed to complete the battery installation.

It weighs only 1/3 weight of lead acid batteries, which is portable and easier to take out in outdoor applications.
