26:05 Since Kevin loves what they did on SISTER so much, then I honestly think he’d really dig Iridescence. It’s funny you guys mentioned Kid A as that really does feel like their big experimental sharp left turn and SISTER feels like the precursor to that. I’m a massive BH fan so Iridescence lands for me wayyyy more than it might for others but even still I thought that was such an artistically brave move from them, and I think Kevin would at least appreciate it! Plus some all-timers are on there like New Orleans, J’ouvert and San Marcos

2017 was crazy, what a run of 3 these's boys have had, I still miss those's times and still want a Bearface solo album, now that we got it to Matt Champion and another Kevin Abstract project, they're great work's, btw.
i'm crying watching this. This trilogy was released during the time I graduated high school, and it might just be my favorite 3 album run of any artist ever because of it. This trilogy was my gateway into really listening to albums and music in general. Noone will ever do what these guys did during 2017. Peak personality, creativty and originality in music imho
I'm with you in dat'... re-visiting all those's 3 album's, it's like I'm having a time-travel, on the best time of my life, forever will be in my memory and heart.
i discivered them last year. On a tik tok album filter by accident 😭. And now they are one of my favourite artist of all time and im really glad that i used that dumb tik tok filter.
grew up in multiple parts of socal, and was in college when these records came out. it did indeed sound like california. we all listened to it. saw them a couple of times at the shrine. it was the craziest fucking energy ive ever felt in a crowd. it was also funny being 21 and being the oldest mf in the crowd LOL.
Who got that feeling tell me why I cry when I feel it tell me why Legendary trilogy, this album may be my fav of the three. So many memories and emotions with this band.
I can understand why someone might prefer Saturation 2 or even 1 for that matter but for me it's always been clear since day one that 3 is the best of the trilogy.
Bro been waiting since saturation 1 reaction just for the Sister/Nation reaction… glad y’all finally got to this, and that y’all enjoyed that track as much as I did. fr probably my favorite song they have
I wanna say Cozy Tapes Vol 2 dropped that same night as well. Potentially one of the greatest release days in modern hip hop history. I was just settling into sophomore year in college and those times were some of the best times of my life.
Same. I feel like it doesn’t get nearly enough credit as it deserves. Then again, I only know like 3 people irl that listen to brockhampton so I think brockhampton as a whole is underrated.
stupid is my favorite because it was made all made in 40 minutes and it was lived steam on insta and its very cool to see how they make song. the stream is still up on youtube
I got back into hip hop again recently after being a 80's, 90's, and 00's Hip hop head and found this album and loved it. I have two play lists of 10's and 20's Hip Hop and loving it again. So many great progressive artists now. Great video guys
When I listened to TEAM I was overwhelmed by Bearface's voice and whole sounds literally it just got me. really want to drop the bearface's album soon fr
Consistently the hardest trilogy for me to rank. My favorite could be 1, 2, or 3 depending on the day. Iridescence is totally my favorite of theirs though, I’d love to see Kevin listen to that one too, as maybe one of their most sonically diverse!
we truly never knew what bearface was saying! saw them live at a festival in 2019 and we all just MUMBLED those parts. bearface if u see this pls drop a solo album
Jokes aside, this is one of the best Brockhampton albums and probably one of my favourite albums of all time. So many absolutley amazing songs. BLEACH, JOHNNY, RENTAL, STAINS are some of the most touching songs I've ever heard and the rest is absolutley fucking banging. It's a shame what happend to Brockhampton after realeasing the trilogy. They never really sounded like this anymore. Also BLEACH is one of the best songs ever made. Period. The amount of nastalgia it makes me feel is atrocious
Can you guys do roadrunner? I think your dad would really enjoy it. Especially since he’s now heard a few of the collaborators on it. It’s probably my personal favourite of there’s!
Hell yeah, the trilogy is complete. This album is loaded with bangers but RENTAL has always been a favorite of mine, it's impossible to listen to it and not be in a good mood and dance along. Would be very interested to see reactions to their later albums, especially ROADRUNNER.
Rental chorus is infectious, I love that track too... Roadrunner is amazing and underrated, still think it's the best album' of them, after all the trilogy (but I like Iridescence and Ginger also).
LET'S GOOO Boogie was my introduction to this band through one of the oldest animations on the YT channel of the animator Worthikids, and it was my intro to their art too. I remember hearing it later at a house party and just being like 'This it what this song was made for."
it was the same party I heard Ain't It Funny by Danny Brown at, I specifically remember walking up stairs as it reverberated through the walls. Feels like longer ago than it was when I look at the release dates of those albums but it really was 7 whole years ago. I've changed a lot since then, not friends with any of those people anymore, but that's for the best.
As someone who was a huge fan of Brockhampton this brings me back and I just get really emotional. This album is so good and I wish they had continue with this fun and cheerful feeling that their music use to have but they lost their light.. at least for me.
