Something i dont normally do but as i dont know much about Filipino history i tool a tour guide around old Manilas walled city Intramuros. My tour guide was great and shared all the history of Intramuros

I enjoyed listening to the History of Manila. That tour guide did an excellent job delivering information to all of us. I wish he was given an opportunity for further education because he is very bright. Thank you Tom.
When I lived in Manila in 2006 this was one of my favorite places to visit. Lots of history there.

An extremely cool thing there is to take the elevated railway that goes through the Chinese cemetery. Goes a couple Kilometers through it. They actually build complete houses for the dead to "live" in. Met my wife 25 years ago in Makati working in the makeup section of Rustans in the Glorietta Mall. You will be shocked to see this wealthy Chinese cemetery
There is a free ferry from Makati (Hulo ferry terminal) to Binondo. Definitely worth to check it out, you can see to the city from different perspective.
