Korra has to die for a new avatar to com to life is simple math! It has happens before why should true rule have to change just bcz of Korra? I don’t get those Korra supporters the slightest!
@@Lee-cr6xb EXACTLY! If those fans were getting mad of Aamg died then legend of Korra wouldn’t exist at all I am 💯 sure of that cuz you can literally look everywhere and find no one talking about LOK So those LOK-fans should grow up and accept that Korra will die in order for a new avatar to be born it should not change just because of her she literally destroyed the connection to her past lives so 🤷 she can’t get everything she want
I can imagine how Bryke may intentionally age up the Earth Avatar to match the age of the audience of the original series. I hope we see an Avatar in college or in their 20s/30s with more adult themes. I'm assuming the movie will also be that valve for the adult fans so maybe they'll just stick with the kiddos and teens. Might be cool to see the Earth Avatar as a child and the story be told from the perspective of the parents.
The opinion of one person doesn't matter korra has to die eventually, look when aang died nobody wanted that but it happen right, that's how we got korra so if aang dies so does korra
I honestly loved Korra as an avatar! The way she developed over the series was super cool, and all she did over the series was fun to watch. I’m sad she died early, in my mind, I think Korra may have lived up until around Aangs age when he died. I also think that in the next series, the next avatar starts off quite hot-headed like Korra, but, then the avatar starts to be able to connect with Korra and be able to develop sort of like she did, but in her/his own way. And, since Korra cut off the connection to the rest of her past lives, the next avatar is able to make a deep spiritual connection, and slowly gain connection with their past lives again. Starting off with somehow connecting with Aang. Then Kyoshi. Yet he doesn’t technically talk to all of them, just some. I’ll be super sad to see Korra go though, I thought she was a great avatar. Plus, she was of color which made me super happy as a mixed person! ❤
There’s some comics released about the next avatar! Sadly, he won’t be a beifong, that would have been very cool. Apparently the new avatar is a poor kid from the earth kingdom whose family is struggling during some sort of political turmoil.
I hope they decide to make movies(or maybe a limited series since those are very popular rn) about past avatars! Considering there’s thousands of them, there’s a lot of potential for good storylines within that. Or maybe the new avatar will have to seek advice from a specific avatar like Korra did with Wan or tie some loose ends that a previous avatar had left.
@@documentaryclips-g3s yeah- I have. Several times, I’ve also read all of the comics, and novels, played all the video/board/card games, had the chance to ask Michael Dante DiMartino a few questions. I’m the lead writer and research for the avatar discussions brands, and a reportive writer for CBR. It’s my job to consume and know all their is to consume and know about the franchise as a whole. I’m not undermining Korra and what she did, she was an amazing avatar but she simply didn’t do as much as Aang, in the way of progressiveness and moving the world forward- as a whole or in RC specifically. Korra did amazing things and physically- she may just have Aang beat aside from air bending, but when it comes to the world and doing things that help and move the world along, she’s just simply lackluster. This isn’t even my opinion, while I do agree with it I don’t write on my opinions, I’m a reportive writer, I write based off of research and popular culture/opinion. The facts, if you were to do your own research, hare there. Even Bryke has stated that Aang was more progressive and did more to help and move along the world.
@@erikasullivan5994 korra did more to restore balance and she did move the world forward yeah aang defeated ozai and created republic city but korra defeated unalaq amon kuvira zaheer and vaatu since youve watched the show i dont need to explain all their power to you, korra's enemies were far more dangerous than ozai and in terms of moving the world forward have you forgotten that she broought back the air nomads which aang shouldve focused on instead they both did alot but korra more than aang. its all in the shows
Well if this new series does come out it might wrap up this franchise and that is if it is good either way I believe the franchise will end within many years
I like the idea of avatar being more modern but I have a couple concerns. Hopefully it is set in the 1980s or 90s It is difficult to imagine a series being able to handle being both a historical based fantasy and a sci-fi as they are both so different. I don’t know how avatar world could handle the internet. However the tech was already getting so crazy in the Kuvira arc so it’ll be interesting
Early 2000s might also be cool. That was a really cool time from what I can remember from my early childhood. Imagine seeing the new Avatar wielding a flip phone and a crappy laptop with a bunch of Flash game websites and Newgrounds bookmarked.
@@BridgetPrincessofHearts hey there! I’m Erika, I’m the lead script writer/researcher for the “Avatar Discussions” brand. I keep speculating that the NEW earth avatar is going to be from the metal clan and maybe even a Beifong family

No way…needs to be from a poor family for once
They definitely going to have some AI/robot created thing that can use all 4 bending styles.
I’m excited for the show but it is sad to see korra go I think legend of Korra will always be my favorite avatar conrent

I hope not more in our generation. It would mess up the story’s growth and style
Yea I get that but they need to make the time progress somehow like it could be late 1990s or something so it doesn’t seem to modern
