- Guild Wars 2. Bladesworn suffered some nerfs, but with the buffs to warrior's mace the Bladesworn can utilize a WvW roaming playstyle that is lethal but also survivable in outnumbered situations.

It's kind of depressing TBH. Bladesworn burst skill requires so much investment in terms of timing and anticipation, and still delivers sub-par damage compared to berserker. It's one of those classes, similar to core Revenant or core Ele, and opposite of Willbender or Deadeye, which you'd pick only if you feel like you've mastered the game and want some extra challenge. :/
Yeah nice to see a vid on ANets most neglected spec, but I agree, I use the alac trait so I don't power up as long as the dragon trig damage is meh anyways. Mostly just good as a hybrid weapon and movement. I hate what they did to spear, but glad mace got some love
I have been 1vXing w bladesworn like crazy lately it feels like anything under 1v3 too easy. Takes practice but im hitting juicy 10ks w D slash, the 1 does the most dmg but have to be in melee range so needs set up but a good teleport does wonders@@StagWithLag
Just saying as a bladesworn main, if you played any other class you would do way better.
honestly, sometimes I catch myself thinking 'thank the six Vallun is on another continent' and unlikely to pop up in red around me. his Bladesworn is a beast.
I was on a condi druid build and ran into vallun (didn't know it was him) a long time ago when he was testing a DH hammer build. Long story short, I thought was an easy target whooped me in less than 3 seconds
As a bladesworn main im still sad.
I just did a dragon trigger dash, the floor was not exactly flat, so my character just dashed on the spot...
And the number of times dragon trigger just casts on your area before you dash is just insane
honestly bladesworn should have a skill that insta-teleport behind the enemy as an homage to "nothing personal kid" meme
0:21 1481 dmg PAUSE XD such a tragic class, he might have been condi but comparing that dmg to what the ridiculous wb does and other classes its laughable, still waiting for a relevant buff
Revanent feels so poop in WvW when u have willbenders and theives movements out there and all u got is 2 back rolls and maybe 1 leap depending on weapon which aint getting you out of anything. Straight ran over by a zerg
@@contaim7227 revenant ? Rev is strong on WVW mate what r u talking about, Vindi is still performing well both power and Condi, renegade is still decent, Herald is also still a much better option than taking A bladesworn,
Setting Aside his sustain and maybe a bit of mobility BS damage is atrocious
It's so sad it also got downgraded to a bruiser class damge wise on guildjen lol (and even then other bruisers can deal more damage and tankier)
@@russpc9739 it's not a bruiser class, his sustain won't save u from some heavy Condi classes like harbs and I mean in it the in a respected way, his utilities r garbage, his dmg is non existent, his mobility is the only saving grace,
@@IceTraeX-Yng the whole thing needs a rework, when they changed the dash the timing still stayed the same, so the slash happens in the middle of the dash (or even at the starting point if you are lagging)

imo there should be no cd going in and out of bladesworn, just 1/4sec so people dont double tap it. Buff the damage on dragon triggers as well.
Then reduce the tankingess just a bit.
Then it will feel much more impactful to play.
Right now its a mobile punching bag to all except players who dont dodge lol :(

Fastcars trying everything now. Hes trying to start shit between you and Lucidity or Noody, since he cant take you in a 1v1. He also deleted your clean kill of him on twitch you sent to the comments of the vid he was lying about you on. He just cant take losing.

Why sword/mace instead of axe/pistol?
axe pistol had no cc but dragon slash covered the cc, now that it doesnt you nee the cc from mace and the mobility of sword and sword mace have just been buffed ever since
Also pistol 5 is hella easy to miss and is clunky asf, it pushes you back so if you chase and cc someone, they stunbreak just as you pistol 5 you just pushed yourself further back

Bladesworn is so nice to play and looks awesome but defnitely needs a little buff in pvp….

and mobility and sustain and stealth . the specialisation should have been a monk

I used to do that back when DT could stun, cuz it would strip boons when it stunned with Absorption sigil, great for hitring zergs without stab, now it just does 2k in a straight line lmao
