Shawn, I have no idea how many views or clicks you will get for this one, but you have my eternal gratitude for giving it a chance. Creedence is one of my favourite groups all time, and this is my favourite CCR song, though most reactors never get around to it. Great message, great tune, great vocals and instrumentation, what's not to love? Maybe a deep cut, but one well worth anyone's time who cares to listen! Thank you,
One of CCR's most emotional, heartfelt songs along with "Fortunate Son", Who'll Stop the Rain" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". A perceptive, thoughtful reaction.
A great CCR tune. Loved listening to it on the radio in my mid teens. My Dad died two days after my 15th birthday in 1973. This song always hit me hard after he died because I wouldn't have him to lean on growing up and someday never came for a lot of things. Thanks for hitting this one Shawn.
1st time I listened, I put this on the llst, 'Songs I enjoy that aren't hits' -- another aspect of the human condition, I love it Yes, the break-up of CCR had a lot of anger, heart breaks and some courtroom bullshit
This song was the last song CCR put out before the band broke up. After this song.....there was no more songs coming out from CCR.....very sad...I considered the song a closing song for their band to the public. It was their closing song. Great song. The Beatles had a closing song before the band broke up and it was, "The Long and Winding Road." The Supremes had their closing song to the public and it was, "Someday We'll Be Together." CCR closing song was, "Someday Never Comes." Your reaction was great as usual
Somehow i get surprised every time i hear this song. Its never near the top of my CCR list. It probably should be but i like it better like this. Play it rarely and enjoy it just a bit more each time.

One of their best in a long, long list of great songs. Can't ever go wrong playing anything they ever put on vinyl.
One of my favorites. Thanks Shawn.

Great choice and reaction♥ One of my favorite CCR songs.
There's really no bad CCR tunes
Beautiful reaction Shawn as usual . You always get the message / lyrics. This song makes me cry 😢❤️🙏You are awesome with your great smile .👍
Exactly, very few reactors get the message right away like Shawn does.

My band covered this song in the 90s. It was fun to play and usually got some dancers on the floor.
Another under the radar CCR song is
“Wrote a song for everyone”
Love all their songs!!! ❤

Alan Jackson sings a song with the same title. Good tune but different vibe.
