So amazing cool. What I do like on your trips at all.... there is no hectic part in your videos and still it is a amazing adventure. Of course there will be some stressful parts on such a trip but for us it is absolut relaxing. There is to much stress out there in the life for everybody already... lets use the overlanding to calm down. Thanks Ronny.
Just did our final camping trip for the season here in Ontario Canada. We went to a provincial park that's right out in the heart of cottage county. Just a handful of small villages nearby. The "light pollution" was very minimal. A clear crisp fall night with a beautiful full moon... and we had that section of the park almost entirely to ourselves. It felt even more remote than we were... peaceful.
Just my 2 bobs worth and I realize you have to do what you have to do as its a living, BUT I seriously miss your old format. The ones when you and the gang were touring, and exploring and also having fun at the same time. Thats what got me hooked on UA-cam when I was living in The Netherlands. Every Sunday morning my missus would here that I was watching you with that old tune that was your intro. Anyways mate, just wanted to let you know. Thanks
He's def not trying to be 4wd 247. Dudes can mess around with each other and if memory serves he's always joked around with the boys. His life has changed, his kids are older and clearly has other focuses on life. Just glad to see him out and about more... I don't think he'll go back to the old way. More of a late 20s life style.
@@Scatterpattern not saying he's gone the 24/7 route, it just feels and looks way to scripted, I know his original stuff was also, but as I said, just my feeling, it's gone to commercial. I would like to see the stat's on views and subscribers compared. Obviously I would assume he does his homework, and feels this format works for him to pay the bills better.
@@phillroo7871 4wd 247 is very scripted, but then again so are most shows we see. Rhonny and the team may need some time to figure out their new format. New presenters need some time to get comfortable on camera. They'll get there. All channels change over time. I am glad they are focusing on touring. :)
Awesome episode, that snakeskin dirt is due to the drying clay in the dirt after rain, you see it occasionally up in the Pilbara n Kimberley. Love the timelapse too
I'm loving this series Ronny. I recently completed this same track but in the reverse order - Caiguna to Israelite Bay. We were told that the track from Twilight Cove to Caiguna end was too over grown and considered impassable. We definitely would have run out of time if we added that section in considering it took us 2 days to get from Caiguna to Toolina Cove. You were right about the pace, it was very rocky, overgrown and slow going. One of the best adventures I've been on :)
This series is well-timed. I've been trying to get my mob to head this way for ages. Thanks for tipping the balance for this Crimbos adventure. How is best to contact for for some intel on the roads across the cliff from the first dunes. would prefer the scenic route. Are you at the Perth show the week after next? Ash
I first started going to point Culver/Bilbunya dunes about 27 years ago, there was no conveyor belt then and it was a real challenge to get back up considering the old hiluxes and rodeos didn't have common rail or turbos. I think it took like 6 goes one time back up to the bend 3rd low flat out get a bit higher each time. Haven't been back for about 10 years I will have to remedy that soon. But me I wouldn't drive the top of the cliffs I'd go back out to the highway and turn in at Cocklebiddy to go to Twilight just on 8 hrs instead of 3 days
Hey mate. Thanks for sharing all your videos. I have learn alot, on that note, why did you air up to pass the rock section.? Regards from Colombia SoAm
Are all of you guys talking about "scripting" for real? Apart from the fact that these small movies must be planned, this is pure Oz. I don't know who you all hang out with, but these guys are laid back Aussies. I don't script my own weekends away and the banter is just the same. And yeah, Ronny must do some research so that he can tell you about all of things that happen in the places he goes. Oh, and there is also a total lack of the dramatic disasters of stupidity that the other clown show hero fest that you mentioned embarrasses us with. Keep going Ronny, best Aussie 4x channel by a street! JT from Kalamunda.
Hey Ronny, I've done this trip once but didn't drive the cliffs. I'm headed back with a camper trailer soon. How rough was it, how tight and scratchy was it and would you drag an off road camper across the cliffs ? Cheers
Yes I’ve done with camper trailers and we used to run tag along yours on the exact path we took with trailers but it wasn’t without vehicle, trailer and tyre problems
Well you can’t technically camp anywhere down there but it takes 8 days to cross it. Also camping is technically speaking stay more than 72hrs so resting for 24 is as legal as it gets. After Driving 10-12hrs I’m resting 😴
Planned as usual not scripted. We don’t write our lines I work on dot points. If I talk about the history of an area it’s always going to sound scripted unless I was there back in the day reflecting on it if you know what I mean
Ronny i really love all the content youve put out. The video quality is really great, but this just feels so scripted and forced unlike your old content which was so raw and authentic. I dont need the cheesy gags, just show me a real adventure like you used to. That's why people watch youtube, to be a part of it and for it to feel real. Just my 2 cents though.
Ronny, your enthusiasm is absolutely authentic! Best Aussie 4x channel by far.

Yep, stop trying to be 4wd 24-7. That “prank” was so cringe-worthy to watch

Loving this series. We will never see it in person, so thanks for showing us this amazing area.
Glad you enjoyed it
Ronny thanks for your content. You inspire me a lot. We as a family of 5 also going outside and camp whenever we can. Great job
Another epic and inspirational production Ronnie
Definitely on the list of tracks to do
Wow! Stunning... love W.A. - great series.

Beautiful! And funny. Thx, Ronny 🖖🙂👍
Really...a treachurous...unpredictable beach.....daaaammmmm🙈🙈😲🙈🙈😲🙈🙈😲
Love these trips, they could be longer though.......
🤙👍
Definitely one spot we plan to explore on our lap next year
A very fun and interesting episode Ronny. You got me hanging for the rest of the trip.
Great to see this part of Australia!
Awesome episode, that snakeskin dirt is due to the drying clay in the dirt after rain, you see it occasionally up in the Pilbara n Kimberley.
Love the timelapse too
Excellent vid as always mate, always makes me keen to get away

Great video , keep them coming
Love the videos as always
what a nice place on earth, enjoyed that video a lot.
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome location and epic camping 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Amazing place guy's, great video, can't wait for the next one 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
It’s a shame you don’t drive with Wayne and Torbs I loved that style of vids. This vid seemed so forced. Keep up the great work 👍
Agree
tip on thumbs is great, i know of a person new to 4x4ing that broke both his thumbs on a decent

Love W.A so much to offer need a rig that can get it done . On Carsales now.
That's some stunning scenery. Is there any of that drive you wouldn't recommend doing solo?
Most of it solo will depend on what the conditions are like.
I’d recommend travel with at least one other vehicle
Hey ronny what do you use for navigation in isolated places like this
Hi Ronny, How many days should I allow for this track, 2 car convoy. Cheers
8 days that way you get to stop at bilbunya two days and twilight cove for two days
Getting some 4WD24/7 feels from the into 😅
Lunch in the dark? That's a new one to me. Ahhh, cliff. I hate cliffs. 200m. away feels safe.
🤣
Lunch in the dark now that sound like a good patch
Gday ronny whats that brew kit u have there mate im a gunna need 1 of those haha cheers
Who needs an extreme power setup just to run a coffee machine? Mocha pot is the best way to go when camping
Was the old ladder still there at Toolina cove ?
Yeah pretty sure both ladders are still there
Very nice place. I wonder how much fuel did you take in jerry cans.
180l was enough
2 x 90l stock tanks
Im doing this trip in a few weeks heading west.
What’s the chances we could have a telephone discussion UA-camr to UA-camr 🤣

what happened to Tobs? love to see the silver crusher back.
Hes no longer part of the 4Wheeling Australia team.. Still friends with Ronny though
He is away working likely to join me on the CSR

Hey Ronny, where can i find that hat of yours? i want one!
It’s a Coober Pedy akubra
Again.. why the subtitles?
Easier for some to understand mate. Not just aussies watching
@@Ronny_Dahl I guess i just think that yas speak english fine and didnt think itd be hard to understand.. all good
Beautiful area. But miss Torbs n Wayne personality and banter. Was way more fun to watch. This felt really sedate n scripted.
No camping is allowed at Toolinna Cove 🤦♂️

@@Ronny_Dahl lol. I did that area 2021 and found the no camping situation except at Israelite ridiculous. Next time I will rest more too 😜
So as light pollution does not reach you decided to create your own :-))
Yep gotta let the aliens 👽 know where we are
Love your videos Ronny but like others have said.. this is getting too scripted
Planned as usual not scripted. We don’t write our lines I work on dot points.

Having torbs was more real. Those dialogs feel so much like bad acting.
What a trip!
So, why do yo never sit down to eat? Just curious, not trying to be a smart*ss or anything!
We spend a lot of time in the driver seat 💺 I guess that’s why. Never really thought about it

One crappy dad gag and it discredits the rest of this awesome and authentic series? Are you serious?!
I call my girlfriend " scrub bush".
