Well, that's certainly not how I expected these food dots to be built.
Feels a bit illegal

7:35 didn't expect it to work so smoothly 😮
Some new parts, and cool that we get black 16 tooth gears, will help when you make shifted gear setups with black 12T/20T gears.
I like that this thing is moving, but I wish lego did a wind-up clockwork motor that has a steady output. This way you could pull a lever and see it moving on its own for a longer moment. A lot of cool mechanisms like this could be made if only we had this kind of wind up clockwork motor.
There are pullback motors used in technic vehicles that would offer this functionality with a slow-release mechanism.
Having watched all the other reviews for PAC-MAN today, I can say that yours provides a remarkable good experience with all the Technic experience & commentary.
Beautifully produced review. I love how you break down and highlight unique portions of a build. You don't get enough love for your stellar production quality and analysis.
I rebuilt it twice and the outer Pacman still won’t move 😢 on the ones directly attached to the crank
I think that this is a wonderful set. I am of that age where the nostalgia factor is a 10. Every time I look at The Atari 2600 build it takes me back to 1980 again. This will look great next to it in my display. Cheers!
I would've loved to have the option to extend the ghosts into all 4 ghosts, but looks like the 1/4 sphere element doesn't have a pink or light blue (there's light royal blue, but not really the same). But it's a set I'll get when it's discounted.
Now I want to see someone build the bottom half of the Arcade.
4:43 got me laughing in tears
I have zero nostalgia for Pacman and arcades but I like this set a lot, it's a good combination of Technic and Systems with impressive functionality and nice looks, the side build is a cherry on top. I think it fares much better compared to other retro gaming sets in terms of playability and functions.
I think it's great. I'll definitely be getting it, to join my NES and Bowser.
Thanks for a great review, as always!
build an extension for the arcade like those taller ones
I like this set alot...I already have the Nintendo & Atari sets...and this would make a great addition to my collection but I'm gonna wait for the price to drop down a bit...keep up the good work my man.
Ohoohohohhoo thank you so much for finding the time to do this review!! I’m definitely buying this set after it comes out!
I got Pac-Man fever. Can’t wait to have this set
This set is very nice. It's one of my and my parents' favorite sets. I feel once again that LEGO is developing something wonderful! "Your video was also very wonderful!" I'm rooting for you♪
4:47 got me laughing on the floor
It was a toss up for me between this and Eldorado (I know, not exactly comparable sets at all). I ended up choosing Eldorado because it was cheaper and has more play functions. My issue with these sort of Lego sets of existing things is that you can get the real thing for much less. The only thing you are paying for is the building experience which is mostly a 1 time thing and the novelty of telling other people that it’s made of Lego.
I do plan to buy this set, it looks quite interesting and would fit in with my collection of older systems
조립은 지루할 수도 있지만 전시 효과와 실제 게임을 최대한 표현한 기능까지...훌륭한 제품 같습니다
I love building these arcade machines
The main issue I have with mine is the light button. It hits the bottom right corner of the screen so you have to kind of pull it forward when you release it. Not to mention, it's really hard to press, and the top piece of the button constantly comes off. Those tricky pieces under the button also, unfortunately, would not stay for me, so I had to just build it with them slightly loose 😕
What a beautiful set!
Very good review!
nice... but 270 is a little expensive...
Need this for my lego videogame collection… so just ordered it 😅
Oh, I am sooo getting this. On day of release! Can’t wait! 🤩
if only i could afford it :(
I love your reviews, that also give an explanation about how to build and working system. :)
I would love to build that, awesome!
I love it! Once i see it in the 50%/75% of range i guess i might get it..
5:23 I did exactly what you did. However, Inky, Clyde and the cherry doesn’t move for some reason… I need help ;-;
I need to find out how the joystick and button mechanism works so I can make a moc street fighter controller
Not a fan, but excited for the new chain piece with the bar attached. The Lego chain links aren't the strongest, but those pieces will certainly be useful. I'm kind of surprised they weren't already introduced, since Lego has already introduced more specialised chain link pieces (like the escalator tiles) and used technic liftarms in some cases too. Just seems like a more compact. intuitive and universal option.
I kinda wish it would be a full cabinet and not just a tabletop machine. But it shouldn't be too hard to DIY the bottom part.
I want a street fighter 2 one
yoga firetruck!
With Lego making arcade sets im gonna need them to do a pinball machine using the foosball piece
Do you know the exact height? The Lego page says both "32 cm" and "over 32 cm" and I only have a 33 cm space for it.
look great , but really i prefer the real medium arcade for 300 dollars
$270... come on Lego, you guys are killing me!
64 times? Wow..... but I'm sure that's a Easter Egg
Why they didnt print those big, yellow plates, its radiculous
You want it to be more expensive?
@@Crayon__Muncher dont be silly, harry potter books have bigger prints and was quite not expensive sets. Or these disney princess' books
Lego is really trying this year, but it's still Perseverance for me.
What part is the red joystick? Is it brick-built?
If referring to the red ball portion, it is a reprint of the globe (2 half dome pieces) from the Idea Ship in a Bottle set.
@@dragonshadow1902 yes, exactly, thanks a lot :)
The 42161 and 60 got leaked!
Nice review. So when you get the set do you have to pay for it and do you get to keep it? Thanks for the review of this cute pac man set!
I don't have to pay for it and I can keep it, but in the meantime I have to produce the review
@@RacingBrick thanks for the info. Cool!
It's pricey but as a 90s kid I will get it still!
So van u actually play psc man on this unit or is it gorged by crank
How long does it take to build?
Why are the bags not paper
Looks great but not a buy
Proud to be the 999th like
First, cool
How come u getbit ear
he gets it for review so LEGO gives him it early
Like.
Although I'm nostalgic for PAC-MAN, I've never seen a classic arcade cabinet in person. So I really want the screen, but everything else around it I don't care much about. This makes the price even sadder for me.
PAC MAN
I am pleased with the clever building techniques and functions, but I won't be buying this.
