It definitely IS in there. It’s broken down into actual meaning instead of a broad and simple term like basketball iq. Passing is usually implied with playmaking. Nobody has ever said “that player is a good playmaker but just an ok passer”.

She's Pistol Pete Maravich. Flashy, insanely talented, but ZERO defensive impact. People compare her to Steph Curry, but Steph moves without the ball and uses himself as a decoy to free up his teammates. She gets assists, but doesn’t share the ball. Her teammates have to hot potato the ball to the rim AS SOON as she passes to them. Not a fun way to play. She will be exciting and might single-handedly save the league, but won't win much unless she learns to be a team player. Russell Westbrook gets assists but Steve Nash distributes the ball.
Caitlin does literally the exact same thing - she moves off the ball and has so much gravity that it creates open looks for her teammates. She 100% shares the ball, that is untrue they have to hot potato to the rim, for her bigs maybe yes who are under the basket but she creates plenty for her teammates at the three or midrange In terms of winning, she literally brought her program to the national championship game. Plenty of “better teams” never got as far as she did. If she was only talented herself, I’d agree they wouldn’t win much, but her skill set is in her IQ and how she reads the whole game and makes everyone around her better The league doesn’t need saving.
