The hostels and hotels have designated smoking areas, and no smoking in restaurants. Everywhere else we've seen people just find a peaceful corner to smoke. So long as it's not disturbing others I don't think any one cares where you smoke here.

I recommend that you rent a motorbike for the trip.
We have multiple times. Even did the Mae Hong Son loop. Those videos will be coming soon. No way we're riding in Bangkok though. Too much going on for a couple of foreign motorcyclists with limited experience driving in Thailand.

since 11:30 to 12:00 you both were at vegetarian market it's festival(เทศกาลกินเจ) from chinese's buddistsm and no real meat in it

I would like you to visit southern Thailand. You will find that there are amazing places that you can only find in Thailand.
It's on the agent for our return trip in a month or two. We wanted to make our way north first then loop across a few countries in Southeast Asia until we end back in South Thailand. Also, would greatly appreciate your recommendations for things in the south 🙏🏿
I usually tried to stick to the air conditioned malls during the day. Siam Paragon, Terminal 21, and Icon Siam are malls that you would enjoy.
Hey thanks! We went to terminal 21 in the video. Union mall will be in the next video when we go looking for good noodle but we haven't had a chance to make it to Icon Siam or Siam Paragon yet. Definitely the right call about AC

My favourite Thai food is Pad Kra Prao with fried egg and Durian is my favourite Thai fruit.
Had that a few times. It's good. Nice heat that builds but isn't too much. Haven't tried Durian yet

Do you know if the first temple gets busy, or is it the slow season?
It's the tail end of rainy season so it could be that but it's also so big that even if it were crowded it felt easier to move around. Likely a long line to see the sleeping Buddha in peak season but the rest of the temple is navigable
