I honestly feel like the hacker situation might end up being the best thing for the franchise. I don’t think that EA can leave it alone forever, and if they don’t I think it’s sure to happen sooner than later. If things turn out for the worst, it’ll result in pc gw2 dying, resulting in less original content, resulting in a lower feeling of excitement for the game, resulting in people leaving the game on console as well. We can just hope that this doesn’t happen and EA gives attention back to one of their most well performing games.
Xbox fixed the call of duty servers, and that bring back hundreds of thousands of players back to the original games. And that made them a lot of money. So I have always thought popcap and EA could make so much money from fixing the games problems, and that money could go to future games
The only hope we have for a gw3 is when pvz3 releases. From there, corporate could make the decision of another cash cow shooter and just hopefully they’ll have variants.
I’m pretty sure bfn got cancelled because people were crying that were no variants, even tho they were added new CHARACTERS pretty quickly, around 3 months between each character, which honestly I prefer over some crappy reskin of a character with a status effect. Also, all of your ideas seem amazing! Especially for a third GW game, but I could still seem them being implemented into gw2
Garden Warfare 1 achieved the best outcome among the three games because it genuinely felt complete. Garden Warfare 2 faced canceled updates due to EA's profit concerns, prompting them to start from scratch. This is where Battle for Neighborville comes into play, as it was designed from the beginning with a strong focus on microtransactions. However, this approach was unpopular with players, resulting in the discontinuation of updates. Currently, there are no new shooter games in development. Instead, the focus is on Plants vs. Zombies 3. If you've seen any gameplay of it, you might notice that it has lost its essence and is following a similar path to Battle for Neighborville. If this game inevitably fails, it could signal the end of the series.
This was a well put together video:) very enjoyable, and I absolutely love the PvZ Franchise And would love for them to update the older titles or release a GW3 sometime in the future. grew up with pvz and want nothing but the best for the franchise :)
Are you seriously trying to predict GW3 with that TN, BRUH! how about you stop giving hope to this franchise it’s never coming back, ESPECIALLY not the shooters it’s funny how one BFN update and one god awful sequel to PVZ1 and 2 completely destroyed the franchise. Even if it did come back EA and Popcap will never listen to us only making games for the sake of money not the actual enjoyment for players.
After enough complaints for Titanfall 2’s hacker situation, they fixed the issues and are now HEAVILY leaking teasers of Titanfall 3 coming out and a trailer possibly releasing at the end of October. If EA (who makes Titanfall 2 and PVZ) thinks they can turn around PVZ just like they are trying to do with Titanfall currently, there is a significant chance they could fix servers and possibly even update the game or make a new one. But due to everyone leaving the studio that made the PVZ shooters, they will have to put an entire new team together if they want that to become a reality. It is very possible to see a GW3 in the future, though, do I think it will happen anytime soon or even happen at all? No, I do not see this becoming a reality, but only time will tell.
I guess we shouldn't lose hope but I guess, the future will either give us GW3 (big Copium for that matter btw.) or nothing. I don't think they will update GW2 I think they first would do that with SW BF2 first than GW2. Although a new story line would help GW2 I loved this game so much and I still play GW (on PS3) and GW2 (on PC)
Yeah you're right I don't think EA would make another PVZ but it dosen't mean we can't be hopeful and believe for something one day, the most we can ask for right now which seems doable is for them to fix the hacker problem

if they brought main street and driftwood shores to gw2 would be a dream come true. GW1 turf maps are so good
TRUE

Pvz boss mode could be a rework of one of the corn missions

Thank you! Yeah i hope for the best franchise despite all the odds

And all this is the reason why no one cares about what you say.
i got banned in PVZ GARDEN WARFARE 2 and i can only play 1 now (im not gonna touch bfn)
Yeah that's a yikea

Honestly hoping BFN gets updates again for it deserves justice. Maybe add new/classic maps, consumables, characters and legendary upgrades.

You're right I wouldn't expect them to return to gw 2 but for them to fix servers is doable
nothing, its just nothing.
Pls happen
I don't know for pc, but on xbox, welcome mat and team vanquish mostly has active lobbies too in gw1
I Don't think there are any worker working on the shooting games...so i don't really expect new games or update...
Also EA want to move to new games to make more money because you know...new game feel more interesting than update...at least that what they thinking
That also why GW2 stop update and how BFN were made
Yeah you're right I don't think EA would make another PVZ but it dosen't mean we can't be hopeful and believe for something one day, the most we can ask for right now which seems doable is for them to fix the hacker problem
