To those who don't understand the title of mission 7 "Akyat Patay Bahay" (31:32) the term "Akyat Bahay" is the Filipino version of the term "Burglar". The word "Akyat" means "Climb" and "Bahay" being "House" or "Home" the reason why burglars in the Philippines are called that is because most victims of an "Akyat Bahay" are people who live in apartments most of which are on floors 2nd or above. Lastly the word "Patay" is put in the middle because it means "Dead" not only referencing the ladder zombies but also making the title have a ring to it with "Patay" and "Bahay" rhyming with each other As a Filipino myself, I love the use of these words as a title for the roof level

The fact that every song has an interlude to build up the effect of the next song is crazy, a whole COD campaign feel to it! Godly work, you never fail to impress!
Just a standard orchestral medley would have been more than enough, but an entire 1-hour cinematic masterpiece was included *_for free_* . Nothing but respect to you and your team.
I have never seen a masterpiece like this, in my opinion it is THE BEST EPIC ORCHESTRA MEDLEY, worthy of an Oscar, there is nothing that can surpass the little boy who played Plants Vs. Zombies all day, for me this is called Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3, I think EA could take advantage of this for shooters, but I congratulate you for such a masterpiece
JESUS CHRIST. I usually don't comment in videos but my God what a masterpiece my friend! What a gem. This genuinely made me cry a little because of how good is this orchestral medley worth to appear on a movie. This was probably the best thing UA-cam recommended me this year. Man, I can see why this took a long time to produce. You never fail to impress, what an absolutely phenomenal job! I appreciate you giving me the chance to feature in this one! Excited to see what else you have in store for the future.
God you can tell that not only in the music but in the art and story telling that they really put a lot of effort in to it especially with how small the team is and how long it took to release. This was amazing can wait for crazy dave’s revenge.
Duuuuuuuuuuude, this is incredible, it's amazing, if i had heard this when i was 12 years old, i would have been shocked. i feel the music in the same way i felt it at that time, especially with that of Dr Edgar Zomboss. I honestly have absolutely no words to describe how happy i am to have heard everything, not only the music, but the conversations, it really felt like cinematics from a video game. Especially when reading Crazy Dave screaming "I'M ALWAYS CRAZY!!", god it was epic. Well, thank you very much for taking the time to create this, it was really beautiful, i hope many people can listen to it too♡♡♡
47k, 😢. We need to share with more! Unless these are the few that know about pvz. In that case, Spread the word! Pvz is such a great game and deserves so much love!
I knew I recognized that Buddhist chant from somewhere isn't it called the Heart Sutra. I love that Godzilla: King of The Monsters popularized Buddhist chants into the mainstream culture. Kāru really made something special by combining Godzilla with Plants vs. Zombies music.
Since no one is mentioning it I would like to point out the Attack on titan and Godzilla references in the music. It caught me by surprise and made me appreciate all the hard work you do. I hope you continue to make these Orchestral Medley’s because it seems there are many people enjoy your music (Myself Included).
I'm so mad. I was looking for a chill PvZ playlist to put on while I was studying, but the orchestration, storyline, voice acting, and artwork were so gripping that I watched the whole video on it's own. Truly a work of passion. As a PvZ fan, I thank you!
Pvz has such amazing an soundtrack, but there are so few people making good remixes and covers of it, so when karu announced this beautiful masterpiece, i know this is going to be a great hit
Cuz Laura Shigihara composed the songs perfectly that it doesn't even need a remix to sound better... pvz has the best composed songs thanks to Laura Shigihara... only people who enjoy music will understand...
My word, this is honestly one of the most impressive things I have ever heard. Period. The amount of talent and work you put into this shines through the beautiful art and entertainment you have created. You should honestly be be proud of what you achieved here. I could not even begin to think how I would go about doing this. You have my utmost respect my friend.
48:43 No matter how many times I watch it, Ryker’s line here always gives me the chills. Combined with the music tying into the climax of the Zombot getting destroyed, it invokes real human emotion from me, which is insane. Absolutely amazing medley, Kāru 👏
I loved what you did with the PVZ OST, and personally my favorite was with Ultimate Battle (Penultimate) especially the part at 39:00 with the leitmotifs of the previous level sections: Crazy Dave Theme (Overture): 39:05 Grasswalk (Day): 39:09 Moongrains (Night): 39:13 Watery Graves (Pool Day): 39:17 Rigor Mormist (Pool Nigth/Fog): 39:21 Graze the Roof (Roof): 39:26
It is the best orchestral remake I ever heard and the little story add something so intersting ! I love the new design you made for Dave and I think I would make a Cosplay of this version
Plants Vs. Zombie is my most obsessed game ever in my childhood, i couldnt have had enough of it and always yearn to play more after school. Thank you for thhis amazing orchestral PVZ medley, i really fell like relive as a child again. Also i love the little story you put here between the song, it bulid up the hype and give me the impression on crazy Dave, maybe he is more intelligent than i thought when i was a kid
Thank you for making this day wonderful, Kāru. The franchise is still alive after 14 years and beyond. Mixture of songs and stories, I love it! Hope you'll reach 100k one day soon!
this feels like it was made by someone who actually gives a fuck about pvz, most orchestral remixes of pvz songs i see, while good, lack the passion that only a true fan of the franchise of the franchise could put towards something like this, the fact that theres a mini story playing out thru the whole thing is the cherry on top, bravo. (one of my fav parts was when they introduced solar flare as green shadows gf lol, felt so validating after getting shat on by almost everyone for shipping them since release)
Most underrated ost of all time. Bangers that everybody either sleeps on or just forgets about. Graze the roof is one of my favorite tracks i've heard from many different games, and every other song is just as much as a bop here. I got so excited when I saw one of my favorite remixers was doing this, knowing just how few remixes people make on the game and just how amazing Karu quality is.
Your whole orchestra is something can't describe by word. It is simply burst my mind. My best moment is with the Campaign Ending, which is really emotional. I can feel myself in this story. All the music, story, voice, twist, create every awesome one hour in my life and will be one of my best listened orchestra EVER. Really thanks for your hard work, I somehow want to cry because of happy :>
I haven't been so fascinated since I heard the Reeds and Seeds album and now I see this wonder, I take my hat off to you brother. That beginning makes me wonder what the movie canceled by Dreamworks could have been like, just imagine. A Peashooter, a Sunflower, a carnivorous plant and a cactus are the last team of plants standing ready to stop Zomboss' evil plans before it is too late. Damn, I would have loved to see something like that, maybe soon, someday...
love how the art, animations, and the whole story telling part of the music has become more streamlined and incorporated! the method of telling an entire story through audio and a few visuals is amazing!! It’s like a movie, but where the movie uses music to support and enhance the visual parts, you used the art and animations to facilitate the audio, and the outcome is an equally amazing and satisfying story!!! amazing work, this is amazing!
God tier. This and Ruscel's Reeds and Seeds album are absolute god tier renditions of the PvZ album. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece.
I have never heard ANYTHING like this before! This is the BEST soundtrack I've heard of PvZ in YEARS! There is no real word to describe this mate, great work this is incredible!
Dude, I, jus-, wah, words can not even begin to scratch the tip of the iceberg of how and why this is so amazing, I am genuinely amazed that something like this was even possible, the art is amazing, the music is just,😙👌 impossibly beautiful, amazing, and gorgeous to listen to, I just dont even know how something amazing like this is even possible, but yeah I could go on for paragraphs upon paragraphs of text that even fnaf lore cowards at of why this is genuinely one of the absolute greatest beauties to ever grace the scene of music So all in all, thank you for creating this amazing thing, I am currently writing this at the fog final wave so I have no idea how good graze the roof or brainiac maniac will be, but based on the other songs i can tell it will be phenomenal, thank you again, and now as i am writing to this part thank you literally anyone who even bothered reading this far i hope you have a great day :)
This story is so wonderfully done. I know Plants Vs Zombies is a goofy series, but I wish it had more serious moments in. The potential for them is proven with what you have written here, with the more grim elements, genetic experiments, and militaristic escalation of events, but still retaining some of the silliness with the use of plant-based quips (like “Hope you like popcorn, Dave.” at 1:22). I also appreciate the nonchalant inclusion of a relationship with Green Shadow and Solar Flare at 5:06, it feels natural.
This might be my actual favorite video I've ever had the pleasure of watching. It's so worth watching all the way until the end and you did an amazing job on all the art, writing and animation put into this.
And just now I realize that zombies with ladders debut on the roof because it makes sense that zombies needed the ladders to climb to the roof to begin with. Awesome music, btw! I always love to hear remixes of good videogame nostalgia, and this is very well done!
Brooooo!!!!! Esto ah sido una de las mejores cosas de pvz que eh visto en mi vida!!!! Es tan increíble que aun no puedo procesarlo bien. La musica, la historia, el estilo de pelicula. ¡¡¡Esto es increíble!!!

Help! Ive been cursed! I- i cant unsee it!
New Sub, like, comment and share. Excelent!
Thank you very much! 😄
@ Nah thank YOU man, fantastic work, seeing content this good for free should be illegal
Geez couldn't have said it better myself! Well i could but you get it, sorry. Also i immediately subbed! 😅
@@playmaestro1871how? I literally commented that! Why is no one commenting on the fact thst this is FREE! NO FREAKING MONEY! I would def pay for a in live, no, just a orchestra play this alone, 200 dollars. Worth every penny!
Man, I can see why this took a long time to produce. You never fail to impress, what an absolutely phenomenal job!
I appreciate you giving me the chance to feature in this one! Excited to see what else you have in store for the future.
Thanks again for lending your voice! ✨✨
You stole Dave's Taco!?
Man that rendition of brainiac maniac is to die for. Thank you so much for making this, Karu!
The Godzilla KOTM feel for Brainiac Maniac does not go unobserved. Nor unappreciated. Holy shit this was a blast to listen to!
I knew I recognized that Buddhist chant from somewhere isn't it called the Heart Sutra. I love that Godzilla: King of The Monsters popularized Buddhist chants into the mainstream culture. Kāru really made something special by combining Godzilla with Plants vs. Zombies music.
I really loved that touch!!
Ahhh this is sooo goooodd!!!
Since no one is mentioning it I would like to point out the Attack on titan and Godzilla references in the music. It caught me by surprise and made me appreciate all the hard work you do. I hope you continue to make these Orchestral Medley’s because it seems there are many people enjoy your music (Myself Included).
I was listening to the Watery graves final and I was like, "wait a minute", glad you called it out!
an Idea the Japanese would shamelessly steal
Yeah same, the apple tree was so unexpected.
ahhh so that's why it sounds familiar
You goddamn right
I can't over Ryker's "Drown 'em" line bro, it hit HARD
Cuz Laura Shigihara composed the songs perfectly that it doesn't even need a remix to sound better... pvz has the best composed songs thanks to Laura Shigihara... only people who enjoy music will understand...
crazy glazing
never have i thought i would get that emotional over a taco
My word, this is honestly one of the most impressive things I have ever heard. Period. The amount of talent and work you put into this shines through the beautiful art and entertainment you have created. You should honestly be be proud of what you achieved here. I could not even begin to think how I would go about doing this. You have my utmost respect my friend.
Thank you! I very much appreciated! ✨
@ Now I want this to be an actual game...
"Epic Orchestra" is such a huge understatement, this is amazing
48:43
No matter how many times I watch it, Ryker’s line here always gives me the chills. Combined with the music tying into the climax of the Zombot getting destroyed, it invokes real human emotion from me, which is insane.
Absolutely amazing medley, Kāru 👏
this might genuinely be the best thing ive ever listened to
Thank you, Fellow Protogen! ✨✨
A toaster have a ram cookie :0
If you like this, I’d recommend listening to the soundtrack for Ark: Survival Evolved. It has a similar epic style.
Holy! This is a absolute masterpiece
I love how you put storytelling into the music outstanding job !
It's like Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Battlefield 2042 vibe THIS IS AWESOME
this is one of the most creative things I've seen in a while, love this to bits, phenomenal job!
Thank you very much! ✨😁
been listening to it loads, if you ever decide to throw this onto vinyl i'll be the first to buy it!@
this campain interlude is 100x better than MW3 campain. change my mind
This medley is absolutely amazing, from the great counter melodies to the powerful low brass parts!
"You have a pool right? Drown em"
This thing is so damn badass it's crazy
I loved what you did with the PVZ OST, and personally my favorite was with Ultimate Battle (Penultimate) especially the part at 39:00 with the leitmotifs of the previous level sections:
Crazy Dave Theme (Overture): 39:05
Grasswalk (Day): 39:09
Moongrains (Night): 39:13
Watery Graves (Pool Day): 39:17
Rigor Mormist (Pool Nigth/Fog): 39:21
Graze the Roof (Roof): 39:26
It is the best orchestral remake I ever heard and the little story add something so intersting ! I love the new design you made for Dave and I think I would make a Cosplay of this version
I was not expecting an hour long PVZ medley, but I am pleasantly surprised
Okay, this is awesome! A PVZ music video with a story, that’s just so cool! You outdid yourself with this one! Awesome job!
THE ENDING MANN, SO MUCH EFFORT WAS PUT INTO THE STORY ITS ACTUALLY CRAZY
Bravo!!
Thank you! ✨✨
Did NOT expect an epic spy thriller plot to go along with this amazing orchestration. Extremely well made, amazing job
Goddammit Kāru, Now I want a COD style PVZ with this style of intro to each level
this feels like it was made by someone who actually gives a fuck about pvz, most orchestral remixes of pvz songs i see, while good, lack the passion that only a true fan of the franchise of the franchise could put towards something like this, the fact that theres a mini story playing out thru the whole thing is the cherry on top, bravo. (one of my fav parts was when they introduced solar flare as green shadows gf lol, felt so validating after getting shat on by almost everyone for shipping them since release)
Exactly.
This is amazing! I would love to see a comic or show on this! I wonder where Crazy Dave will go off to next...
You never cease to amaze me with these medleys and the storíe that comes along with it! Good job!! Kudos to you ^^
Thank you! ✨✨
"Green Shadow only agreed to come if we also brought her girlfriend, Solar Flare"
This is canon.
No it ain’t lol
@@stargazer-elite Canon in this Alternate universe though! 😉
based af
Oh my gosh that part was adorable ☺️
@@stargazer-elite Nope, it's canon now - my dad works for EA
WHAT IS THIS MELODY 🗣️🔥
The combination of watery graves and attack on titan is underrated
Pure genius
Your whole orchestra is something can't describe by word. It is simply burst my mind. My best moment is with the Campaign Ending, which is really emotional. I can feel myself in this story.
All the music, story, voice, twist, create every awesome one hour in my life and will be one of my best listened orchestra EVER. Really thanks for your hard work, I somehow want to cry because of happy :>
Where have you been all my life? This is outstanding, nay, godly!
I've had this recommended to me for the past few days and now I'm finally giving it a listen. Safe to say this slaps! Awesome work.
God Damn, This is amazing! i was NOT expecting a COD X PVZ collab.
Oh my goodness he actually did it.
Everyone do what we rehearsed and get ready for some sick tunes.
False advertisement, I'm here for an orchestra medley, not a 5 stars movie lmao. I LOVE THIS!!!
I love this story so much. The music is amazing. Why isn’t this more than a million views?
What a nodtalgic masterpiece briliant!🎉🎉
"Chills, literal chills"
love how the art, animations, and the whole story telling part of the music has become more streamlined and incorporated! the method of telling an entire story through audio and a few visuals is amazing!! It’s like a movie, but where the movie uses music to support and enhance the visual parts, you used the art and animations to facilitate the audio, and the outcome is an equally amazing and satisfying story!!! amazing work, this is amazing!
Wow those intermissions really made this feel a whole lot epic-er...
I hope we do get that sequel🙏
God tier. This and Ruscel's Reeds and Seeds album are absolute god tier renditions of the PvZ album. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece.
triple yeti in garden ops is just this the story of this entire soundtrack
masterpiece and even some lore. amazing
I cannot believe there's a whole storyline to this, amazing job!!!!
I REALLY love how you've been growing story into these medleys.
NOT ME CHEERING MY ASS OFF DURING THE ''ITS TURNING AROUND'' THIS HAS ME SO EMOTIONAL
IM ACTUALLY CRYING THIS WAS PHENOMENAL I CANT SPEAK ENGLISH RN IM IN TEARS
I have never heard ANYTHING like this before! This is the BEST soundtrack I've heard of PvZ in YEARS! There is no real word to describe this mate, great work this is incredible!
Thought this just gonna be a normal plant vs zombie orchestra. I got hooked into the story and music!
Awesome work!
"Plants versus zombies... THE MOVIE"
Plants versus zombies: Gardenfield.
30:07 This part right here, was incredible! Thank you for making the best remake of the soundtrack I have EVER heard!
Dude, I, jus-, wah, words can not even begin to scratch the tip of the iceberg of how and why this is so amazing, I am genuinely amazed that something like this was even possible, the art is amazing, the music is just,😙👌 impossibly beautiful, amazing, and gorgeous to listen to, I just dont even know how something amazing like this is even possible, but yeah I could go on for paragraphs upon paragraphs of text that even fnaf lore cowards at of why this is genuinely one of the absolute greatest beauties to ever grace the scene of music
So all in all, thank you for creating this amazing thing, I am currently writing this at the fog final wave so I have no idea how good graze the roof or brainiac maniac will be, but based on the other songs i can tell it will be phenomenal, thank you again, and now as i am writing to this part thank you literally anyone who even bothered reading this far i hope you have a great day :)
Plants vs Zombies was one of the first video games I got really into. Thank you so much for such an amazing tribute to franchise I loved.
I wasn't expecting voice acting! This is so cool! :D
All those hints of “Zombie On Your Lawn” throughout the songs hyped me so much. This was incredible!
This might be my actual favorite video I've ever had the pleasure of watching. It's so worth watching all the way until the end and you did an amazing job on all the art, writing and animation put into this.
I haven't even gotten to the songs and I'm already blown away by a full news broadcast
And just now I realize that zombies with ladders debut on the roof because it makes sense that zombies needed the ladders to climb to the roof to begin with.
Awesome music, btw! I always love to hear remixes of good videogame nostalgia, and this is very well done!
Brooooo!!!!!
The Green Shadow only join this mission with HER GIRL FRIEND got me laughing in tear.
Btw this is so well prepare when you got the story line, the Crazy Dave voice lines and especially the EPIC OST of Plants Vs. Zombies, one of our childhood game and ost. Thanks for you incredible works @KaruOfficial.
I like your creativity and your arrengment, keep like That the next year saludos desde México ❤
This be the best thing I've ever listened to, I'm getting goosebumps all over right now. Thanks for the creation Karu
