This song is very special for Poles. This one is a cover, coz song was originally made in 1982 and was performing by Bajm (Beata Kozidrak), when Poland was under the occupation of Soviets - all of the politicians was totally controlled by Soviet Union and Poland, since 1944, was a communist country. People in their hearts felt free and can not stand the occupation, so riots for freedom begins to spread. Basically song is about daily life and feelings people suffer under the regime. But in fact, it's true value was hidden from the soviet cenzorship. It's a protest-song, that was made to give Poles courage and stranght to keep going and holdon, to not forget the bright future is ahead. And finally, 7 years after the oryginal version was released, after many fight, riots and lost lives, in 1989 we get our freedom back, and this song become a memorial of those times :) So our situation now is so similar to the situation then - uncertain times, unknow future, but we have to keep going.
You beautifully copied my comment from another movie. You haven't changed a single word. Bravo for creativity.

😂😂 no cóż współczuję

No nie... 6 dni dał muzykom na nagranie swoich interpretacji... Poskładanie tego w jeden kawałek to inny temat i to zajęło więcej niż 6 dni... Sztaba sam o tym opowiadał...

Polish music artists and the composer of it all, Adam Sztaba, are simply amazing. You have to admit it. And everyone recorded naturally from home, without autotune. And composer Adam Sztaba made this piece from the recordings sent to him in 6 days! Days! This is a masterpiece.
That was prepared during the first lockdown in Poland.

To Polska my wiele potrafimy
From a technical point of view, the whole idea is quite simple - it is not physically done online (and I'm a bit surprised that the author of the film doesn't understand it). All the musicians recorded their parts to the "pilot" provided by Mr. Adam. All the work (gigantic!!!!) was done in post-production. The hardest part was deciding which fragments of the soloists/vocalists to choose. I am personally surprised how many people have the same reaction - shivers down their spines - I get huge shivers when I listen to this. Great energy! GREAT WORK! Poles rulez :-P
This song was shot during the pandemic, everyone was staying at home. Beautiful combination

The song "Co mi Panie dasz" was written in 1982 by Beata Kozidrak, the vocalist of the Bajm band.
During the COVID-19 epidemic, composer Adam Sztaba prepared a new arrangement of the song.
732 musicians participated in the online recording. The youngest was 8 years old, the oldest was 75. Private individuals recorded videos playing various instruments, and then they sent them to Adam, and his team edited the video clip.
Professional vocalists who took part in the recording:
Cleo, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Piotr Cugowski, Kasia Moś, Igor Herbut, Andrzej Piaseczny, Olga Szomańska, Natalia Kukulska, Ewa Farna, Kuba Badach, Kasia Wilk, Natalia Nykiel, Ania Karwan, Sebastian Karpiel, Patrycja Markowska, Damian Ukeje.
It was the time of Covid, everyone was sitting at home and looking for some contact with other people and came up with various ideas via the Internet. The text is about the uncertainty of existence - "What will you give us, Lord, for this uncertain time..."
732 musicians and 16 singers took part in this project. They did it for 6 days. Everyone recorded their fragment in their own home . And Adam Sztaba he folded it

I’m polish and love this song!!!
This song "Co mi Panie dasz" was first written in 1982 by Beata i Bajm during the martial law in communist Poland.
The song is about the uncertainty of tomorrow due to the political situation at the time. The author asked God: What will you give me, Lord?
In 2020, during the first lockdown, composer Adam Sztaba gathered 732 musicians, each of whom recorded his part at home, which was later pasted into the whole piece. Everyone played and sang separately, they never played together, never heard each other live. And this is how the largest orchestra was created, and the artists asked the Lord again what would He give us in this uncertain time ...
Incredible.
Dude dude dude this is blowing my freaking mind I know the Technologies out there but how thank you for bringing this reaction man holy s***

Gdyby nie polityka i zwykła ludzka zawiść Polska była by najlepszym krajem na świecie . Samo wykonanie tego kawałka to mistrzostwo i udowadnia że wspólnie można na prawdę wiele.
To jest niesamowite ❤❤
You've just experienced...
- one of the best Polish songs in last 40-50 years (very emotional, concerning martial law in Poland in the 1980s),
- couple of the best Polish pro singers,
- hundreds of Polish amateur (and pro) people playing their instruments
- very skillful mixing of the audio and the video!
- everything recorded in their homes during covid in 2020.
732 musicians, 6days = Poland.
Just great. I'm glad you appreciate it! Best regards!
thanks, what else should we experience from Poland? any links?

@@ReactionsbyD Good question!
I'm 46, and I appreciate quite good music in Poland (like Marta U proposition above), but the best and the most important artists has already left us some time ago... No big artists at the moment imho (except of Marcin Patrzalek ;)
So, for the beginning, let me introduce you to Czesław Niemen, and his famous song:
ua-cam.com/video/kVp0BB6J-HI/v-deo.html
Czesław Niemen (1939-2004) is the most famous singer in Poland. "Dziwny jest ten świat" is from 1967 and it is one of the most famous Polish songs ever. This is protest song against hate-speech. Text is quite universal but context is that Poland was communist country (1944/45-1989) and this was military dictatorship with left-wing ideology. Niemen could also think about himself being hated in media in 1960s as strange person with strange look, dress and long hair that was not prefered by official propaganda at that time.
Lyrics translation here: lyricstranslate.com/en/dziwny-jest-ten-swiat-strange-world.html
Maybe not worth to react live, but definatelly worth to hear it. I really appreciate you want to know our music. If you want more, just let me know.
(note: edited to fix some typos and to add a reference to Marta U comment)
@@ReactionsbyD Just to inform you: Adam Sztaba recently recorded another song with 100+ famous Polish singers and his friends. "We have each other", for his wife, for her birthday. Autotranslation to English pretty good. Enjoy!

it’s not a zoom meeting. the musicians got music notation and recorded it individually in their homes on cameras or phones. a singers (they’re all pros and famous in Poland) were asked to sing this song. singers didn’t know about musicians and the musicians didn’t know about singers. and after six days the video came out. it’s masterpice at mixing and editing this from over 700 videos in one clip. :)

Fantastic job
Absolutely fantastic,
It's a cover of song dealing with aftermath martial law in Poland in the 1980s. For people cooped up in small apartament under curfew,
title question What will You give me Lord (in uncertain times) carried lots of meaning. I know, I lived thru it. Fitting for any lockdown. You can check 1983 original by the group BAJM with the same title. Typical Polish 1980s music.
Oryginał...👍💪📽️
Great story and a great song and wow they put one right past the Russians. The real kicker is yes it’s a zoom Covid “secure production” keep everyone safe involved but the audience got a masterpiece. This really speaks to human ability to create and transcend the pandemic, be proud of what you have accomplished 😏

This song was firstly recorded by the band named Bajm in 1982 (a great song even then!). At that time the text referred to the martial law imposed by the communists in December 1981, and now it suits perfectly the COVID reality... Adam Sztaba, was the conductor and the creator of the whole idea. He wrote on his social media, that he was looking for the musicians to play this song. The musicians were sent the notes and they played it separately using the metronome only and then they sent it back. The artists sang the song to the original music. Then other guy was synchronising it all together. Music to this was recorded in 6 days (only)... Than they added vocalists. Than they've became the biggest on line Orchestra in the number of 732 pepole involved... And the best part is that no one, including the members of orchestra knew nothing about what is going on untill it was published on yt... Vocalists knew notking about the band, the orchestra members knew nothing about the vocalists and each other untill it was all over
