It should be noted that this specific early performance has additional bass background. He actually make that clear in one point later. He don't do that in later videos, going full one guitar.
So a friend just recommended I watch this and I've gotta say, this is pretty impressive. The percussive style is really different. BUT, he doesn't touch very much of the original song except for the main riff. You, and everyone here, should do themselves a favor and watch the Tim Reynolds solo performance of this song and hear him take on the entire song by himself, live in Las Vegas 2009. ua-cam.com/video/ZO4cviYeCiw/v-deo.html
As a typical fan of his, I was surprised to get a Fb friend request and message from Marcin, just to say hi and TY for my support. Not typical of someone with 1.5 mil subs
Wow that is so cool.
He’s a real nice dude!
If Eddie Van Halen was alive today, he would be asking Marcin for his autograph. This young man is probably the best guitarist to walk in the Earth today. Enjoy going down the rabbit hole.
You might be right and filling Eddie’s shoes is a tall task but Marcin could probably do it.
Van is not even among the top 50 guitarist in history. None of the rock guitarist are. The best guitarist are in the classical/ Jazz/ flamenco world. Rock guitars are very easy once you have classical background.
@@alberthenriette8976 you are right. Most of the incredible players have that background and some are even coming from jazz.
@@alberthenriette8976yeah, but Eddie could write timeless classic rifs for the ages.
To Mozart i Chopin w jednym, geniusz
Marcin Patrzałek (born October 6, 2000 in Kielce, Poland) Polish is a fingerstyle guitarist, composer and producer.
He began playing classical guitar at the age of 10, under the direction of Jerzy Pikor, a teacher from Kielce. Two years later, he began learning flamenco techniques with Spanish guitarist Carlos Pinana. In 2015, he won the ninth edition of the Must Be the Music program. Only music, and in 2016 he released his debut album entitled Hush.
In the same year he became a finalist of the International Fingerstyle Guitar Master Competition, and the following year he won first prize at the Joaquín Rodrigo International Classical Guitar Competition. In 2018, he won the fifth edition of the Italian program Tu Si Que Vales. On November 12, 2018, he released an EP entitled revAMP, containing his most popular arrangements.
Previously, he released his own single "Baba Yaga". In 2019, he entered the 14th edition of America's Got Talent, in which he reached the semi-finals. In 2020, he signed a contract with Sony Music.
17 year old Marcin arranged & performed "Master of Puppets" by Metallica.
Marcin uses the innovative technique of "percussion fingerstyle", which is why he chose the flagship Ibanez AE900-NT guitar from the AE and Thermo Aged™ AVD80-NT series equipped with a K&K Trinity Pro pickup, which allows him to combine extensive percussion elements with standard guitar playing.

Thanks so much for thr great background on him. He’s a very accomplished musician and still so young. I can’t wait to hear more and I just recorded a new one. I need to edit it and it should be out in the next couple of weeks. Thanks!
He also has his signature Ibanez guitar and musical friendship with many brilliant musicians all over the world. I highly recommend his duo with Japanese guitar player Ichika Nito.
Once you experience Marcin, you are pulled into his world like a black hole!! You won't be able to get enough!!
I guess I’ll be finding out. Thanks.
Słucham i oglądam Marcina od roku-dzień w dzień i nie mam dość👋
Na živém koncertě jsem nebyla, ale potvrzuju, od včerejška poslouchám na UA-cam a asi mi brzy dojde kredit 😂❤
I just came back from his concert. Seeing him playing this LIVE is an extraterrestial experience.
Wow nice.
Booked tickets for February in Ponzań
Producent, kompozytor, mistrz gitary. Ciągle młody. Wielu znanych jest w szoku. Łączy kilka stylów gry w jedno . Robi wrażenie OOO!
Marcin, zycze Ci wszystkiego najlepszego w Nowym Roku i dalej.
Happy New Year Eddie!
This one is my favourite of Marcin .
He’s amazing!
I came to Poland for his concert to see his performance /was 10.16.23 in Warsaw/ for real. He played the Kashmir and another staff. Is unreal to see is real. I don’t think any artist is just art of destiny of guitar like him.
Are many guitarist styles /not mentioned following his style to catch up to the market he he he / so funny but none has gift from Universe to become legend like Marcin.
Nobody can possess his soul for music or skill of art - nobody.
❤🎸💕🎶
Wow that’s so cool you went there and saw his concert.
Marcin is a prodigy. I love his guitar playing…my favorite is “SALT” which he composed at 16 years old. I grew up with a father that was an instrumentalist so I know excellent skills when I first seen his audition on AGT. My father use to play so much that I’d fall asleep to his music as a kid and so I just come back every night to hear MARCIN on repeat 🔂. Thank you ☺️ for reacting to his beautiful cover.
Thanks Stephanie! That’s a beautiful story.
More Marcin please! Awesome reaction ❤
Thanks so much! This was blocked for a year and I finally got it unblocked. He’s too good not to show people.
He's the best in the world. Also a super nice guy! Welcome to the World of Marcin!
Thanks Kelli!
I've been following Marcin for some time now. He's amazing. He started out as a boy laarning classical guitar, then when he found it a bit restricting, turned to flamenco, and then added the other techniques, and now combines them all together. There is a video of him being interviewed in which he explains how he does it. That trick with using the tuning peg is heard sometimes in blue grass music.
Hi Christine! Nice to hear from you again. Well you found an amazing guitarist. Geez he’s unbelievable.
@@bobcieslinski Yes he popped up my FB page some time ago and I've been following him since.
I follow Marcin since he was 14 or so... it makes me happy that (after AGT) he was finally shown to the world...
Wspaniały Polak genialny i skromny, chętnie dzieli się swoją wiedzą i Jest koleżeński
Great reaction! If you think Marcin can't get any better, watch his latest Carmen Habanera. He was 17 or 18 when he played Kashmir. It was five years ago. Now he's 23 yo.
Wow time will always change things. I can’t imagine what he was able to learn and perfect over those five years. I’ve got to check that one out. Thanks.
Genialny muzyk o ekspresyjnej, skomplikowanej technice gry. Dziękuję za Twoją reakcję i pozdrawiam z Polski
From what I read he’s 20 years old and started to play at the age of ten, taking flamenco lessons which would explain the percussion techniques. I don’t think there is anything he plays that hasn’t been done before, but it’s his ability to compose the song with different sounds and fretboard work. He has amazing hammers and pull offs using just his fret hand, especially on an acoustic instrument. A bit dramatic at times but then it fits the music and emphasizes the performance. Nice one for whoever recommended it!!
Yeah he is insane with his arrangements and performance. His technical skills really allow him to do the things he is showing us in this song. Glad you liked it.
Maestro Marcin..!! 🎼🎵🎶💪🏻🇵🇱
O tak można go słuchać na okrągło . Drugi raz idę na jego koncert. Marcin to geniusz gitary 👋👍
Thank you, Poland, and Marcin, for being such a wonderful guitarist, he is unique and very talented😊😊😊😊😊😊
My favorite song from Marcin is Metallica's "Master of Puppets" - Just because it's completely insane what he does with one guitar, where normally 3 guitars, a bass (guitar) and drums are needed.
But I also love his Paganini interpretations. Classical Music that makes your jaw drop. I promise.
Thanks I’ll have to check those out
For someone who is interested in technic stuff he have amaizing interview with Rob Scallone.
Thanks Meg! I’ll have to check it out.

Pan Marcin - Pan Mistrz. Pozdrawiam z Polski 👍👍💕
6. listopada 2000. ( 23 year's old ), I'm not a big knowledge man in playing gitare but this young man is so present that is remarkable.
I'm speechless and astonished by hearing him playing.
His a genius for myself.
I could hearing himself all day long.
Thank you for recognizing and comment this talent.
Have a nice night.
6 October 2000
Enter Marcin's guitar world where his virtuosity is always a musical and visual experience that is very addictive.
So far I’m blown away.
The best!
He is classically trained, there is a video of him as a teenager playing a piece in a classroom setting. He started at 10 years old he said in a recent interview.
Wow he is amazing and with that training and the age he started it’s no wonder he plays like this. The amount of work he had to do is admirable.
He is 23 years old and practices only about 4 hours a day. Incredible, he is the best
He is amazing!
Thank You for your reaction. Marcin is really good. If You want to have more fun, try the rest of his music. Oh, please, try.
I’ll accep that chsllenge Artur. 👍😀
Ooooo it is long journey before you with Marcin and his guitar 🎸
I’m looking forward to it. The man is unbelievable.
He is an exceptionally gifted child
New subscriber here for more Marcin reactions. I freaking love this guy!!! No one else can do what he does. He's been so blessed by God. No other explanation for the amount of talent he has.
Bach's Toccata should be next please. It's creepy like Halloween so should fit right in.
Thanks for a great reaction!
Much love from Texas!
Thanks so much for the comments and suggestions.
If you're amazed by this try to watch his Caprice no. 5 or 24, moonlight sonata, master of Puppets, still D.R.E.
Thanks I’ll have to check it out.
Baba Yaga !!!!!
Oh how much I agree with you. I had exactly the same on my mind to propose.
GENIUS!!!💥💥💥😍🤩🤩
Kocham muzykę, bo to jedyna miłość bez bólu , obowiązków i zmartwień. Marcin to twórca klasy światowej. Greetings from Poland 🌞✌🗻
Hi Poland.
Sounds great to me. Impressive!
You are right Kimberly.
You are the first to notice the thing he does with the tuning peg and how impressing that is . Seen manny and not one has noticed this . That is mindblowing .
It sure is. He got the timing down perfectly to get that effect. The hanks Anette.
you should check out his collab with ichika nito called "acoustic vs electric guitar", it's really REALLY cool! i love his performance of paganini's caprice no. 5, too - it's absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks I’ve been hearing about the other guy but I’ve never heard his stuff. If you have a link for that video I’d love to check it out. Thanks.

My guess is, that he was born with a guitar in his hand 😂
Greatings from an old Danish Dear and Angel ❤️🇩🇰🌷
Hey Elise! Nice to hear from you again. Man Marcin is crazy good. Wow!!!
Mercin will only come in once a lifetime because he ia an absoloute Genuis And Master Of His Time, and his only 20 years old!!!❤❤❤
Watch marcins other songs too I been a fan of his since he was on Americans got talent. My favorite he does baba yaga,
Yeah so, you are in for a long and wonderful ride, because as amazing as this was, his later work is SO MUCH BETTER. He's faster and cleaner and more precise in his later stuff. ("Later" in this case means all of two years.)
Seen him many times. He is so talented I can’t believe it. Now you need to see what the Hu can do with two strings.
I know Dixie. I’ve been saying it for too long. I really have to get to that one.
Marcin is the best!!
He’s incredible Jackie.
Marcin prawdziwy mistrz pomimo tak młodego wieku , Bob hi is 23 years old.
Man he is so young to be that incredible. It’s a test and to his hard work.
Love Marcin. His guitar sounds incredible ❤

I wish you would comment on more pieces by Marcin, thx.
I will be. It took a year to get this one unblocked.
He is currently on tour in Poland. I was at his concert in Krakow. He sounds equally wonderful live. Greetings from Poland
Hi!
I love people who understand music, congratulations, because there are very few of them
Thank you Marcin! Glad to have you here.
The young man is incredible for sure.
Dude played every possible sound on a guitar... and at least a 100 more.
Love your facial expressions 😄
Thanks so much!
Speechless no words any more describe!
I’ve been a Marcin P fan for awhile now and it’s cool seeing someone hear him for the first time.
He is completely mind blowing. I’ve got a few on my channel but a few are blocked.
I have followed for 10 years your in for a treat catching up.
He has a saying that he bought the guitar so he's going to play the whole thing.
This man is gifted but also... HARD working to her what he achievwd
Makes all the difference.
Marcin Genius!!!!
Of course you probably already know he was on America's Got Talent and he just blew me away then; this is the first time I've encountered him since then Thank you very much May your path always rise up to greet you!
Thanks Gary! He’s amazing.
Great reaction 😊 would you like to react to Marcin and Ichika Nito? Or maybe Marcin Salt, Carmen habanera ?
I will check it out
ELE E UM GENIO
Super interpretazione Complimenti Marcin! Commentario fantastica saluto cordialmente !
Thanks! He is amazing!
More than amazing!😊
Thank you for doing this work, Bob!
Thanks for listening
Redefines the guitar.
In an interview he said that the entire guitar is an instrument so why wouldn't you use it all?
He sure does. Wow!
❤❤very good video.this boy is wow,i dont understand is not go to the top? MARZIN HAVE A BIG TALENT thanks
He has put out several amazing songs. He just put out his version of Eric Clapton's Lyla. I highly highly a=recommend that. It's mind blowing.
Thanks Sledge I’ll check it out.
He's been training with the best since he was a kid from flamenco to classical.
Alien ! 💥 👍 🇵🇱
Maybe. He’s Polish and that helps right. 😉
Very well done. Marcin is a prodigy....started at age ten and is about 23 years old...Check out the AGT audition at age 18. Though he made it to the live shows, which was very important exposure, he did not even make the final...Go figure. I can't
Wow that’s hard to believe
Marcin is doing what he does only because of his classical guitar background. Thats why classical guitars is always the most complicated form of guitar music. Rock music is a child play for a classical guitarist.
You are completely right Albert. Those people that learn anything classical have a distinct advantage.
You have to see his song baba yaga!
He is 23 years old… And of course he is from Poland 🇵🇱
Yep I saw he was Polish. It’s nice to see such talent from there.
Marcin jest Polakiem to ma się w sercu i duszy😊🎉❤
Estilo único espetacular 😊
He is a monster, an alien... or something like this...
He sure is.
He was born in 2000, making him 23 at the time of this writing. He performed at the 2020 NAMM Show, re I representing Fishburn. He's been playing since ten years of age. Like the prior musical greats: Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and so many others, He's an anomaly, a genius.
He’s incredible!
He is from Poland. He missed his high school graduation to be on. America’s got talent as he was traveling to New York City to go to Julia. Either one of the other music girls check out is it America’s got talent performance.
Hi mate. I've been following Marcin from his 18th when he participated in America got a talent , now he's 26 I think. I agree with people in two facts : we all live on Marcin's planet talking about guitar playing and Marcin doesn't need a guitar. Guitar needs Marcin. It was pleasant to share your sincere emotions because the magic he makes is multiplied while more of us listen his music. I recommend you to subscribe on his channel and also listen everything you can find from him on UA-cam. You surely won't regret.
No , he is just 23 , born in October 2000.
He’s amazing.
I've watched at least 10 reviews on Marcin, excellence analysis on technique - you nailed it. At first thought he was triggering a drum machine and click track only to find out in this interview vid > 'How Marcin breaks the internet (and his nails) with his guitar'< is an excellent breakdown of his technique. His guitar is special as well, reinforced inside around the sound hole because his percussive style splits the top. His pick guard is a type of 'sand paper' and the pickup is unique stereo split between an internal mic and slim pickup. He said, he uses 13's and sometimes 12's here is the video title for his guitar > 'Marcin Patrzalek Interview | Ibanez MRC10-NT signature | Percussive Guitar Tutorial | Thomann' < Pick Up is here > vid > 'Fishman PowerTap Pickup Performance and Interview with Marcin Patrzalek at Winter NAMM 2020'< Needles to say the guitar has an incredible action, the strings are so low - reminds me of an electric.
Thanks for the kind words Paul! Marvin is a special talent. Incredible.
I've sold...okay gave away all my guitars. I'm pucking in my trash can now...thanks Marcin!!! Thanks!!!
Incredible and Amazing musician, but Kashmir needs no embellishment.
Kashmir don't need emblishment but we need little boy
not human incredible
Ese guitarrista sabe de maciado Dios lo bendiga
This guy is something else
He really is.
❤👍😍👍❤️
Yes he studied forever and a day to be that good
Wieczność, to wg. Ciebie 23 lata ? 😅
O proszę, kolejny prowadzący program tzw. muzyczny jest zdziwiony 😂
Why wouldn’t I be surprised. He’s so talented and amazing but this was the first time I ever heard of him. I’m sure there are people who I listen to but you have no idea. Have a more open mind and not be negative. Just enjoy the music and the videos. Thanks.
Pozdrawiam.... EU, PL
Polish power!!!
None of the techniques Marcin uses is of itself unusual, what is less usual that we find a young man that has in a ten year period learned classical and flamenco and then put these techniques on to a steel string instrument.About every two hundred yrears someone appears who takes the playing of a specific instrument to a new level of competence,Paganini was one of those,Marcin is another.....................................................
The techniques are special because he is bridging the gaps between different style of guitar musics.
lol you just have no idea lol, he plays perfectly
its my first time watching u, are u related to Sony from the Best ever food review show?
I’ve never seen that and no I’m not. Thanks for asking.
Check out his Innuendo performance it’s amazing
Witaj Bob😎
I don't think this kid can buy beer yet. Id card him. lol
Would be interesting to hear Jimmy and John Paul react to this.
