Hey guys, sorry for the 2 week gap in videos. A LOT of things happened between that time and I'll explain everything in a livestream tomorrow. I'm going to try to shoot for around 4-5 PM Central Standard Time.
"An evening with Sander Cohen" and what an unforgettable evening it is. Fort Frolic is truly one of the greatest levels in gaming history. It's the closest thing to a perfect level in the entire BioShock series in my opinion as it has all the facets that make BioShock so great. And Sander Cohen is the best kind of antagonist: the kind you love to hate.
I could honestly spend hours just admiring the artwork of Fort Frolic. From all of the stores, to casinos, etc. It's like you said, a damn near perfect level in any video game.
Love me, hate me, spare me, kill me. Your life’s story is my arts purpose. Soon , and I mean very soon, you shall become a distinct part of my masterpiece..... along with everyone else.... yes , oh my work here is not finished yet.
The only reason why Cohen didn't send you to look for Elizabeth's corpse is because she was his most successful disciple through both her song "You belong to me" and his painting "The last dance".
I just finished this part. I was absolutely shocked when he came down the stairs, just another human being walking past me as if nothing was wrong. Nothing was more memorable.
Fort Frolic was such a fun level, with blasting Splicers to the tune of Tchaikovsky's music to meeting Sander Cohen himself. I didn't kill him, because of the cool stuff he has in his home and Fort Frolic. Here's how and why it makes sense: after learning about his feud with Anna Culpepper via Audio Diary, I killed him with trap crossbow on his door because of a Power to the People, and a plasmid in his bedroom. After that's dealt with, I went back to Fort Frolic to burn his Quadtych, then he pops up like a "horror movie moment" to lure him out then I cave him in with the shotgun, killing him permanently. Not only you get a get a key for the other box in Frolic's atrium, you get a sound of an "audience" cheering for you, as if you avenged all the souls of those who were trapped & killed by Cohen along with Anna Culpepper and Chief Sullivan in the crowd now resting in peace. To add insult to injury, I placed his charred corpse on his destroyed and burnt Quadtych.
Sander and his level was always my favorite as a kid, growing up, it got even better lol. Cohen is literally the artistic embodiment of Rapture, while Ryan was the philosophical. Loved this vid, thank u for making quality lore videos about a game that is shrouded in mystery ❤
The manta ray short film scared the crap out of me even though I was on a Bioshock grind and was numb to scares😬for a while. Sander is my favorite character we encounter in Bioshock, he’s so extra😂
I think sander Cohen is the best and most completely insane character he's an artist that murderes people for his art he will start forgoing human morrals for his art and will kill you if you disrupt that his minions are the most terrifying enimies the plaster splicers and his enimies or rather minions reflect him
sander cohen is one of the most memoriable characters in the bioshock franchise but he's one messed up individual still i loved the video Erik take care man
I love Cohen and his visual art throught the level, particularly the "Frozen family" (yes, I am aware those are actual frozen people). I think in this level, the reason why he takes us under his wing goes beyond mere ego like Ryan says. I think he knows, at some extent, that Jack is a slave, not a man. Like him, Jack is cursed. Traped in his own body and mind (I think that's also why Cohen's splicers don't speak, it's to show us that we are no different from those mindless servants). But he knows Jack has the potential to transform the world, and the actual technique to do it, unlike his old proteges. He just has to embrace what he can do by himself. Not care about other people's opinions. But to do that, Cohen believes he has to break us. Make us be so mentally exausted, that we just don't care anymore how we reach the end of our journey. Because it's when you're tired, that you do what you believe that needs to be done.
leave him alive in fort frolic and then start shit in his apartment. he opens his bedroom to fight you, opening access to weapons upgrade station and a bunch of absinthe..
My muse is a bit diverse too (I'm not professionally an artist but I have the soul of one). I have a thing for bittersweetness and transformation throught corruption, and how both spread themselves like a plague in order to form a hive (I love the concept of a hive like unity). And yet, my muse needs to be in VERY specific conditions. If they aren't...well, be glad I don't have a Fitzpatrick to call (I certainly am).
So I did the easter egg you talked about in one of your videos in bioshock 2 that is in dionysus park hearing that song and sander cohen laugh at the end that really creep the crap out of me. Lol
This was such a great part of Bioshock that took me off guard and strayed away from the story a little bit in a good way. It also had a great vibe to it because it was twisted but yet a clear objective and set an urge to complete Sanders tasks to get out of his "game/show".
Steinman has the ambition, I'll give him that. But Cohen has the technique he lacks. His "Frozen family" (alongside their location), the hunt he has us perform against his former disciples and his enslaved splicers are the proof of his genius.
She actually posed as Cohen's "Songbird" to get more information about Sally and DeWitt. There's a few posters of her within the DLC's that show the "Songbird" aspect. But as far as disciples, I don't think she would.

Yes but It would be nice to see it

Fort folic is a legendary level ! No modern FPS game has been able to achieve this kind of Design and creativity.
Whoa, I didn't know he had such an in depth background surrounding his lure, I only thought he was a crazy gay guy lol
Lol
Go back and play the fort frolic level ;)

You are sooooo under rated man. You deserve so much more attention on UA-cam because of your dedication to this amazing game series.
Thank you for the kind words friend.
I want to see him in bioshock 4
Heyyyyy you’re back!
Yessir.
Captain Eggcellent Strange Seeing you here
In Dionysus Park bioshock 2 there’s an extra little sister when you’re gathering Adam you can hear Cohen’s masterpiece playing and him laughing
All he wanted to do was take the ears off the wild bunny, but he couldn’t.
"Sander fucking Cohen"

Fun fact about Fort frolic in the movie theater the circus of values the prices are higher
leave him alive in fort frolic and then start shit in his apartment. he opens his bedroom to fight you, opening access to weapons upgrade station and a bunch of absinthe..
I can imagine Sander Cohen becoming best buddies with Stefano Valentini.
Really enjoyed this one, can’t wait for the next one.
Soon my friend

I could never get it right, I always messed it up :/
TheBioshockHub I just uploaded a video of it in my channel if you want go and see.
Could you explain what the easter egg was?
I learned Cohens Masterpiece on piano a few months ago, my tempo is still a little off though.
That's awesome! Just keep practicing and I'm sure you'll get it :D
@@TheBioshockHub Thanks! 👍
@@memerunner7846 hey dude when play make there are no explosives near you, ok?
LITTLE MOTH
I'm curious if Cohen was inspired by Salvador Dali.
I honestly wouldn't doubt that.
@@TheBioshockHub according to Google, Salvador Dali was 56 around this time period so it would make perfect sense.
Nice video and thanks, I was waiting for a video for Sander, you really put a lot of effort in your content
I'm glad you enjoyed.
I always knew that kid in my art class would turn out weird...
Great vid you put a lot of work into these videos and it is great
I appreciate the kind words. I just try to put as much time into each video to make the best content that I can.

My Favourite Bioshock Character.
One of my personal favorites.
So who's a better Artest?
Dr Steinmen
Or
Sander Cohen?
Steinman has the ambition, I'll give him that. But Cohen has the technique he lacks. His "Frozen family" (alongside their location), the hunt he has us perform against his former disciples and his enslaved splicers are the proof of his genius.
"Would you kindly"
Hooray, new video! Glad you're back!
I'm glad to be back.
Love your videos, hopefully the next bioshock game still revolves around rapture, so many untold stories.
nice to see you back can't wait for you live streams to continue
Same here. I'm just sorry for the delay.
TheBioshockHub hey it's alright stuff happens
This was definitely worth the wait
I'm very glad you enjoyed.
Can somebody tell me why this video isn’t that popular?
Older video maybe? I'm not sure, but it's okay!
Ok
I've been really looking forward to this video.
Me too man, me too.
Sander Cohen Reminds Me Of Jhin in League of Legends
The part that scared me the most was the part realizing that Cohen made people into statues. Probably one of the worst ways to die in Rapture.
I realized something, Sander Cohen can't handle criticism. He gets irrationally angry when being criticised. He can dish it out, but can't take it.
The only people who disliked this video are splicers
he gives me strong Jhin from League of legenfs vibe lol
Cohen is a bit of a psycho lol
my fave chatacter

Yes, that was Sander Cohen alright. Greatest artist from burial at sea when he painting picture Elizabeth and Booker are dancing.
Yup
That’s the last dance?
F I T Z P A T R I C K !
Good vid. Spicy. 100/10 IGN.
:D
Hey what editing software do you use
Awesome video, how are you so overpowered in the gameplay 😂😂
I have my 2nd account for subscribers. On there, I have a new game + with all save slots in each main area to get the footage I need :)
Would Elizabeth be one of Cohen's disciples and if so why did he not ask jack to photograph her corpses
She actually posed as Cohen's "Songbird" to get more information about Sally and DeWitt. There's a few posters of her within the DLC's that show the "Songbird" aspect. But as far as disciples, I don't think she would.
Sup dude did you like E3
For the most part, yeah. A lot of games to be excited for
I actually killed him when I first played Bioshock Erik I don't like to be used by others. 😉😈👿😢
Dasgusing
OK, why did you decide to dedicate one minute of the video to you telepathically manipulating Sander Cohen's dead body in the foyer?
Characters from Bioshock infinite shouldn't be considered canon
I’m sorry but isn’t it Cohen and not coHEN or do you always mispronounce it on purpose?
